I’m Farhad Kousyaie, founder and CEO of Biyatto, a peer-to-peer social marketplace for exchanging competencies.
We joined FasterCapital’s LaunchUp program, and it’s honestly been one of the most valuable support programs we’ve experienced as an early-stage startup. The team provided us with in-depth reports — from SWOT to market studies to investor-readiness
The feedback we received from angel investors through FasterCapital helped us identify strategic blind spots and reshape our pitch deck. We’re now preparing to raise $800K, and we feel far more confident in doing so thanks to the clarity and support we gained through the program.

Through their structured feedback, market research reports, and detailed analysis (including SWOT, competitor studies, and pitch material reviews), we gained clarity on our positioning and funding strategy.

One key outcome was the refinement of our business model and financial projections, which gave us more confidence during investor discussions. It’s been a highly valuable step in our fundraising journey.

If there’s one area for potential improvement, it would be to share more visibility into the investor outreach process, such as which investors have shown interest or are reviewing the materials. A bit more transparency there would help startups like ours better understand the pipeline and tailor our responses accordingly.
