Fabrik Labs created a custom built platform for our suscription based curriculum product. This product allowed our customers an easy navigation experience when accessing PDF documents as well as the abilitity to track student progress digitally. This product allowed our team to manage the backend - both customers and content - with no coding needed.

Project was divided into sprints. Deliverables were timely. Fabrik communiated via slack and were timely and prompt with responses.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The most impressive thing about our project with Fabrik was their quick understanding of our very unique product and business model which lead to increased speed in the build and implementation. The overall time from discovery to launch was much faster than with other competitors we met with. 

Are there any areas for improvement or something Fabrik Labs could have done differently?

As a team new to an in-depth tech build, we will create a more detailed scope of work from the start.

Overall the engagement was to provide Augment with a new direction but building on our core services. Some of the key deliverables included:

• Assessing Augment's current expertise and experience.
• Understanding what new digital/data/AI services are currently and will be hot in the market.
• Providing clear advice and direction on the path Augment should take.
• Putting together an action plan to implement Fabrik's suggestions and plan.
• Introductions: This wasn't part of the key deliverables but Fabrik made some very key introductions to people in their network.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

• They provided valuable market research that gave us a new direction for Augment.
• They help assess our current capabilities and what holes were lacking in order to implement the new plan.
• They provided a go to market action plan. And they made sure that we were acting on that plan.

They were really quite amazing. Their project management style was very hands on and proactive. Yes. They were always on time. 

They always did a very good job responding to our needs. We probably asked some pretty naive questions sometimes, but they were always super professional how they handled their responses and the entire project.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They were just very nice people to work with. And they had very relevant experience that they applied to our engagement. They felt like true partners.

Fabrik Labs was extremely hands-on. They asked great and thought provoking questions. They made introductions into their network when it made sense. They validated ideas with their network. They combined both the strategy with an implementation plan and support.

If you are looking for help for your software services firm, Fabrik Labs, will be a great partner. You will be lucky if they are willing to work with you. We have worked with other strategy firms, some very well known and high priced. Fabrik was much more hands on and better value than previous firms we worked with.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Fabrik Labs could have done differently?

I really don't think so. Sorry.
