Client: HollywoodLand (MovieToken) Vendor: DevTeam.Space Project: Production-grade smart‑contract suite powering our film‑financing platform Industry: Media & Entertainment, Web3 Company size: Startup Live website: https://hollywoodland.film    Background I’m the founder of HollywoodLand. a community‑driven platform for film creators and supporters. We hired DevTeam.Space to architect and implement both on‑chain and off-chain layers - governance, NFTs, and revenue/debt mechanics deployed to Polygon. The off-chain component of the platform is a community website where filmmakers can promote their work and raise funds. Challenge We needed upgradeable, secure smart contracts that: Support tokenized governance and on‑chain votingRepresent project assets via NFTs and track ownership/transfersHandle revenue and debt distributions transparentlyPass security audit and robust testing for a smooth path from testnet to mainnetScope and Deliverables Solidity smart‑contracts: Governance Token and Governor, NFT Catalog/Ownership, RevenuesManager, DebtManager, PriceOracle, iterable sets/utilities, and proxy/storage patterns for upgradability. The blockchain part needed to include deployment scripts, migrations, and reproducible logs for Polygon (Amoy testnet and mainnet). All the blockchain code should be 100% covered with tests.. Minting tools and web integration guidance to support our production site Team Composition 1 project manager, 1blockchain developer, and 1 full-stack developer collaborating closely with our internal team Timeline 2023 – present (ongoing improvements and support) Budget $50k+ Process & Project Management DevTeam.Space started the project with a clear business requirement document and description of each contract and their interaction. After a couple of iterations, it was approved, and we’ve got an Excel spreadsheet and a PDF with the task-by-task estimate and totals. The project ran well, with clear milestones, weekly check‑ins, constant communication, and thoughtful testing on each step. Results All contracts developed, tested, and deployed to Amoy/Polygon after passing the 3rd-party security audit. Frontend website and minting flows are already in production, supporting the first members of our community. What did you find most impressive? The contract architecture (modular design, upgradeable proxies, and storage separation), the variety of business‑requirement tests, and the deployment discipline making the security audit and moving from Amoy to mainnet a no-stress task. Areas for improvement Auto‑generated contract docs/diagrams for non‑engineers would be a welcome addition. Also, slightly broader time‑zone coverage would be nice as the devs usually finish their day at 3 or 4 PM EST. How did you select this vendor? Just found them over Google search, went through a short questionnaire, and scheduled a call via Calendly. Over a series of calls, I’ve been introduced to a project manager and a lead blockchain developer. I sent my request via their website and received a prompt call back from their management. I was very impressed with Alexey and his immediate understanding and vision for the concept.

We had 2 meetings per week, where they guided me through the process by asking questions and suggesting new user stories for the application. In addition, they provided guidance, including different suggestions for the various functionalities of the app. At the end of the project, I received a perfectly designed UI/UX prototype of the app.

A project manager was assigned to my project, along with a lead developer for UI/UX portion of the project.

Shored up final issues and we are now in full alpha, with round 2 starting in January (refactoring and upgrading to Angular 8)

Very solid. Weekly sprints and tasks managed through Pivotal tracker. 95% of deployments on time and within budget!

Their cost-effectiveness and impressive out-of-the-box thinking stand out.
