I’m the founder of a company that provides last-mile delivery services for small businesses and individuals.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with DEVELOP L.L.C?

We use WhatsApp for our operations. In a bid to be more efficient and serve more customers, we hired DEVELOP L.L.C to build a bot that would automate our responses and help us reach out to more people.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

DEVELOP L.L.C provided us with custom software development. They built a chatbot for WhatsApp with a backend to manage our deliveries. The bot can respond to messages without human effort, forward orders to our delivery partners, and send customers a payment link. Our customers can also leave a review through the chatbot and follow up on their orders. 

Currently, we’re planning to take our relationship with DEVELOP L.L.C further. The team will build a custom website and a mobile app for iOS and Android.

I work with two people from DEVELOP L.L.C 

How did you come to work with DEVELOP L.L.C?

We found them through an accelerator program. DEVELOP L.L.C was the official technical team recommended to all the startups in that program. 

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent $1,000 so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in March 2022, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

I’m satisfied with the chatbot’s functionality, and I believe our customers will be happy, too. We haven’t launched the product because we’re still testing, and we haven’t verified our WhatsApp account. Overall, DEVELOP L.L.C has delivered good value for money. 

How did DEVELOP L.L.C perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re really good and flexible with time management and budget. Although some of their team are students and have other commitments, they’ve been able to meet deadlines, which is commendable. This is also why we’re moving the relationship further. 

As for communication, we use email and Google Meet. They update us, and we review the work through weekly meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m impressed with DEVELOP L.L.C’s flexibility to our needs. Although we initially wanted a website, our budget was limited. They’ve worked with us to shape the project, tailoring the solution to us — that’s rare to find in a vendor.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s nothing they need to improve right now; they’re doing great. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

My advice is to put your needs forward and let them know what you’re working with. DEVELOP L.L.C is flexible, and they can help you work out a solution that suits you.
