I’m the head of marketing at Wolt, a delivery platform. We’re an international brand under DoorDash.

What challenge were you trying to address with COLORTIME?

We hired them for video production.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

COLORTIME provides us with video production and still photography. They also offer concept creation. Whenever we contact them, we tell them our idea, and they dig into the concept. Sometimes, we don't have a clear vision of what we want, and they come up with a solution according to our brand. 

The team manages the photo and video shoots. They've primarily created live-action videos, though we've also asked them to create animations on top of those videos. COLORTIME does the editing and selects music for the soundtrack. For each video, they deliver a first draft of the edit, then we discuss and adjust to what's working best. From there, they come back with the final version of the videos.

How did you come to work with COLORTIME?

As I searched for a new company to create video footage for us, I got references for COLORTIME from other professionals in Latvia's video and photography field. 

How much have you invested with them?

We've spent between €15,000–€20,000 (approximately $16,000–$21,000 USD). 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together around September 2020, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

COLORTIME’s videos are usually better than we envision, making our brand look great, which is why we’ve kept collaborating with them. We’ve published the videos on our company website, application, and social media and used them as performance marketing ads on Google Ads and Facebook Ads. 

Moreover, COLORTIME’s team is very customer-oriented. Even though they have a specific style, they still modernize it on the go, so they never give us the same concept or solution; they keep in touch with trends. 

How did COLORTIME perform from a project management standpoint?

I can always count on them to meet their deadlines; they’ll work overnight to make a morning deadline. However, they would benefit from additional support like another assistant or project manager in this area since the project management is mostly on the shoulders of COLORTIME’s founder. As a result, they’re overworked in trying to meet their clients’ needs. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m impressed by COLORTIME’s creative concepts — their ideas are amazing. They have much to add to projects, and their ideas fit our brand. They don’t just come up with a general concept that could work for anyone; they really think about what we’re trying to deliver and solve. As a result, their ideas are on point, and we realize them most of the time. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could expand their team. Although they’re a group of strong professionals and many more companies would like to work with them, their workforce is limited. If they expanded and got more professionals trained on their level, they would be a more outstanding agency. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

My advice is to trust COLORTIME and allow their creative team to work on your project. As managers, we love to control things and ensure the end result is what we need. However, if you trust COLORTIME, they’ll come back with something that’ll bring your project to a different level.

I'm the social media manager for telco company in Latvia. We provide whole scope of telco services and mobile devices to our customers.

We wanted to reach our customers and provide expertise in mobile devices and telco services in the best way - video. That is the reason why we decided to cooperate with COLORTIME.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We looked to previous COLORTIME video projects and we decided that this company is one of the leading in this field at our country.

Each project started with brief and then continued with detailed scenario writing. After approved scenario we made detailed time and action plan, which led us to real work - video shooting process with all tech and scene setups and etc. Last step was production and work with the comments.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

We worked with project director, manager and filming crew. Each step was easy and efficient. During work process a lot of things were solved thanks to COLORTIME team professional experience.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Created video content helped us to reach our goals and only motivated to continue cooperation with COLORTIME. Also notable that each new project was created with additional performance and quality.

The project managers always catched our ideas and could expand them more with creative solutions. During work process was useful that COLORTIME team each time wanted to know insight of the project, so they could produce the most storytelling content with our need.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We realized the creative ideas and power of COLORTIME keeps continuing to grow. They went back after project brief with more advanced and interesting scenarios, which helped us to create a lot of unique content.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

As video industry is growing also customer needs are more complex and growing. We are happy that COLORTIME manages to deal with all this stuff, maybe some minor improvements on billing part is needed.

We searched for quality and creativity for our social media accounts.

First, together with Colortime team we had a brief meeting on Red Bull guidelines regarding production and delivery. Then Colortime team arrives in all our events and creates the content, later providing the content in given deadlines for both social media usage and for Red Bull Content Pool.

All team. Videographers and photographers.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Colortime video's has been recognised in our social media with approx. 20K reach.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow is as easy as communication with the team. We adjust our meetings and communicate through various platforms.

Creativity and ability to adjust for each project.
