Introduce your business and what you do there.

PluggNation is a digital marketing company that is coming out with an app surrounded around the nightlife industry. I’m CEO and co-founder.

What challenge were you trying to address with BonFireIT?

They helped us build our prototype for the app and then ultimately reached out to us to help us complete the project.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The app was built on iOS and Android. I believe they used a website and another app called Proto.io which allows me to display the prototype. They built out the wireframes and creative content that we had. They’re going to be doing most of the coding for the app and they also helped build out the website, which we use as a marketing tool.

How did you come to work with BonFireIT?

I was connected to them through someone else. After we saw the type of work they did with the prototype and other companies they’ve helped, I was comfortable with having them finish the product.

How much have you invested with BonFireIT?

The prototype cost under $10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We’re currently working with them.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

People liked the build of the prototype. It’s pretty close to a real-life app. I haven’t gotten any negative feedback.

How did BonFireIT perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicate through email or through WhatsApp. They are based in London but respond in a timely manner, usually under 24 hours. They met the deadlines to my expectations.

What did you find most impressive about BonFireIT?

Even though they are a service for hire, they also give input on how my company can improve. They made sure my company got the best experience possible and that I had the opportunity to grow as an entrepreneur.

Are there any areas BonFireIT could improve?

Everybody can improve but I can’t think of anything specific they could better.

What challenge were you trying to address with BonFireIT?

At that time, we needed to have an app developed.

What was the scope of their involvement?

BonFireIT built a mobile app for both Android and iOS. It was a collaborative effort. I approached BonFireIT with the idea of what I wanted the app to look like. They then took my vision and provided guidance on functionality and how it would work in the industry.

How did you come to work with BonFireIT?

I talked to Eric and felt confident in his leadership ability. He’s an excellent communicator and goes the extra mile to make sure he meets the expectations of his clients.

How much have you invested with BonFireIT?

We’ve spent under $10,000 so far, but I plan to spend $150,000 on the next phase.

What is the status of this engagement?

The work is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

We haven’t launched the product yet, but the best metric has been the quality of their work. They’ve done their due diligence and have been able to present a working prototype of exactly what I was looking for. I feel confident about using them exclusively for the next phase of the project.

How did BonFireIT perform from a project management standpoint?

Their communication is remarkable and they respond quickly. Eric is always responsive. They’ve been able to meet deadlines even over the holidays, which shows me their determination to produce a quality product on time.

What did you find most impressive about BonFireIT?

I’ve had similar projects where I’ve used other providers that think only about money. With the BonFireIT team, it’s more about relationships. I believe that’s what makes our relationship work so well.

Are there any areas BonFireIT could improve?

I can’t think of anything. It’s been a great experience and I see a lot of potential in them.
