Overall, the system has significantly automated our workflows, improved operational efficiency, and enabled us to successfully scale our business.

We started our cooperation with relatively simple projects involving websites and landing pages, and over time we began to outsource increasingly complex portals and applications to AppWorks. Quality of the delivered projects in terms of UI/UX is crucial for us. They are not only visually appealing and aesthetic but also optimized for usability.

First and foremost, many websites that AppWorks created for us. Additionally, numerous smaller and larger web applications were developed, automating and expediting work within the company and communication with our clients.

We always initiate a new project with an in-depth interview and needs analysis, followed by budget and schedule discussions. Project management at AppWorks is exceptionally structured and organized, perhaps why they consistently meet deadlines. They accurately assess the time required for each phase, occasionally even delivering the product ahead of schedule.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Certainly, it's their approach to clients and projects. They are incredibly flexible yet highly advisory. They won't let us stray and always know the right solution.

Are there any areas for improvement or something AppWorks Software House could have done differently?

Rarely, but there have been instances where we had to wait for resources from AppWorks for the next project. It would be great if we could work on two projects simultaneously. Currently, at AppWorks, this is more of a queued process in some areas, particularly in the UI/UX project.

We create websites for sports clubs and the FanApp application, thanks to which fans can stay closer to their teams and can win prizes: we extend the match day and provide a new dimension of fan support.

Initially we hired AppWorks for minor web development tasks and general IT consulting, as it was the very beginning of the Sportigio project. A while later after we acquired a couple of sports clubs to work with us we attracted an investor that allowed us to take our business on a national stage. 

From this point AppWorks is our strategic partner that works for us on multiple levels: starting from UX/UI design of our web platform and mobile app, through web development, mobile development, DevOps and IT and business consulting in general. Throughout our cooperation we managed to publish a new web platform and mobile app - a FanApp for supporters of our clubs.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our web app and mobile app are free to access to the wide public at https://sportigio.com and at Google Play and AppStore. There are also almost 50 websites we created for our clients (sports clubs) that are also measurable outcomes of a success of the project.

Our business model includes working with B2B (sport clubs) as well as B2C clients (their supporters) which means we have big needs for support and flexibility that they can fortunately provide. AppWorks is available for our versatile requirements and we can rely on them regardless of the task. We do not usually set strict deadlines, but we never had problems with waiting too long when there were some more pressing issues.

It has to be the previously mentioned flexibility and complexity of their work. We sometimes have needs that would require outsourcing three different companies and they somehow provide it all within one organization.

Are there any areas for improvement or something AppWorks Software House could have done differently?

We are currently facing substantial growing spikes in the number of users of our websites and we will require more focus on server infrastructure optimization in the near future.
