Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

AppMakers USA did end-to-end design, engineering, and compliance hardening for the ColdLink AI platform. The project encompasses developing an offline-first mobile courier application (iOS/Android), a Zero-Trust web dispatch dashboard, an IoT telemetry ingestion pipeline, and an AI-driven predictive routing engine engineered to meet FDA 21 CFR Part 11, HIPAA, and SOC 2 Type II standards.

Deliverables:
iOS & Android Courier Application
Dispatch & Admin Web Dashboard
ColdLink AI Routing Engine
Compliant Cloud Infrastructure

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

• Consistent adherence to strict biological viability windows for high-consequence assets across the Gulf Coast.
• Maintained strict compliance with FDA 21 CFR Part 11, HIPAA, and SOC 2 Type II reporting standards - 100% pass rate.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

They were disciplined and fully aligned with our strict compliance and operational standards. They delivered all key platform milestones on time, responded rapidly to our technical requirements, and maintained transparent, structured communication throughout the development lifecycle. The engagement went smoothly from start to finish, with the only minor exception being a brief wait for a set of compliance documents on one occasion, which was quickly resolved without impacting our launch timeline.

What was your primary form of communication with AppMakers USA?

• Virtual Meeting
• Email or Messaging App

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They embedded Zero-Trust access controls and automated audit logging directly into the platform's core from day one, which was a slam dunk. Across both mobile platforms and web backend, everything was smooth and secure, tailored precisely to our operational demands.

Are there any areas for improvement or something AppMakers USA could have done differently?

If there is any area for minor improvement, it would be the turnaround time on technical documentation during the initial onboarding phase. Given our strict compliance requirements under FDA 21 CFR Part 11 and SOC 2 Type II, our team required extensive written specifications for audit logging and data encryption workflows, which experienced a slight lag early in the project as the engineering team focused on core feature builds.

Additionally, because biomedical cold-chain logistics is a niche domain, there was a brief learning curve at the very start for their team to fully digest our specific operational terminology and regulatory nuances.

Once those initial workflows were synchronized, their output was seamless. It was a minor detail in what was overall an exceptionally well-executed build.

How many teammates from AppMakers USA were assigned to this project?

Not Sure

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

The project was to design, build, and deploy the entire multi-platform ecosystem for us, spanning high-performance hybrid mobile applications for iOS and Android, a responsive marketing and early-access web portal, and a scalable backend infrastructure with a custom administrative management console.

The app provides peer-to-peer equipment rentals, including ID verification workflows, localized ZIP-code proximity search, calendar-based booking, integrated digital payments and deposit escrow, and in-app messaging.

The build required embedding custom AI and computer vision modules into the core product architecture: automated photo-to-listing generation, a dynamic seasonal pricing engine, intent-based natural language search, automated pickup-to-return photo condition comparison, and proactive AI security screening to block bad actors before bookings occur.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

They delivered a functional, early-access Web portal alongside production-ready iOS and Android builds on schedule, allowing us to start rolling out our Fort Worth launch.

The automated photo-to-listing feature slashed item setup times down to under a minute, and it arrived just a couple days after the agreed date.

The AI screening and photo condition-checks received positive feedback across early neighborhood testers.

Getting a complex hybrid app and backend live without critical bugs on designated time was the proof that we picked the right team.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

My point of contact was Dovrat. The internal Slack server was made for this specific project, with channels for separate areas of the project. The communication was timely, she was responsive and knowledgeable, and they were showing me progress on meetings. I didn't have insight into their project management system first hand, they used ClickUp internally. The deliveries were all on time, except the AI screening feature, which had to be pushed back couple weeks due to the extended testing.

What was your primary form of communication with AppMakers USA?

• Virtual Meeting
• Email or Messaging App

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They were friendly, very professional, and experienced which showed the most when they understood the scope and provided specific directions and additions that would make the user experience better when registering their equipment.

Are there any areas for improvement or something AppMakers USA could have done differently?

I'm really happy with the service and have recommended it to friends. If I would nitpick, a bit more proactive documentation in those initial planning sprints would have saved a few back-and-forth alignment calls. The team adapted quickly, kept communication transparent and delivered what was promised.

BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I'm an operations manager at Étage, a creative strategy agency that partners with thought leaders to elevate ideas into impactful experiences through events, media, and branding, using content to inspire and transform audiences.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with AppMakers USA?

We brought in AppMakers USA to help us figure out what an internal operations tool should look like. We had reached a point where too much was living in people's heads, in Slack, or in random documents, and it was starting to show.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

AppMakers USA spent time understanding how information moved across the company, where requests were getting stuck, and what people were using as workarounds. From there, they put together early layouts, feature ideas, and a phased plan for how an internal system could bring all of that into one place. It included things like task tracking, ownership, status visibility, and better ways to keep teams aligned without constant follow-up. The team also built and implemented the internal operations tool.

What is the team composition?

We worked with an unkown teammates from AppMakers USA.

How did you come to work with AppMakers USA?

We found them through a referral. We chose them over other options because they had high ratings, a great culture fit, and company values aligned with ours.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent $50,000 to $199,999.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from May–June 2026.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The big thing was that we finally had something concrete to work from. Before that, everyone knew there was a problem, but people described it differently depending on their role. One specific issue we uncovered during the process was that the same request was sometimes being handed off two to three times without anyone clearly owning it, which explained why things were getting delayed. Once that became visible, it changed the conversation internally in a big way. Since then, we've seen a 25% reduction in delays and a 50% improvement in task completion times.

How did AppMakers USA perform from a project management standpoint?

AppMakers USA was organized and easy to work with. Things moved on schedule, and they were good at adjusting when we realized certain pain points mattered more than others. It never felt rigid. We communicated via virtual meetings and emails.

What did you find most impressive about them?

What stood out to me was that AppMakers USA didn't jump too quickly into the solution. They took the time to understand what was actually going wrong first, which sounds obvious, but a lot of people skip that part.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There's nothing they could have improved on for this stage. The process gave us exactly the clarity we were missing.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

AppMakers met with lab managers, PIs, and purchasing, then mapped our current ordering path from request to receiving. They produced simple screens for fast reorders, cart by grant number, vendor comparisons, approval queues, and a receiving checklist with photos. We also got a training outline, a phased schedule with costs, and practical guidance for keeping item lists tidy over time.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

In a small pilot, time from request to approval dropped from about a day to a few hours, and we cut back-and-forth emails to nearly zero. We also saw fewer last-minute runs to the stockroom, since common items now appear in a single “reorder” view.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

They kept a steady cadence, sent same-day notes after each check-in, and hit the dates we set together. When we asked for separate carts per grant to keep budgets clean, they added it without making the rest of the plan more complicated.

What was your primary form of communication with AppMakers USA?

• Virtual Meeting
• Email or Messaging App

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They had people on their team who came from science/lab backgrounds, so they really deeply understood our needs.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

AppMakers interviewed our team, then laid out a simple site map with galleries by category, a clean home page, an about page, pricing and FAQs, and a booking path. They gave us sample page designs, image export and sizing rules, a plan for proofing and client downloads, and easy steps for posting new shoots. We also received suggestions for hosting, backups, basic search visibility, and a realistic timeline with costs.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

After trying their quick fixes, our current site loads images visibly faster and clients are reaching the contact form more often. The proofing flow they mapped let us run a small trial with real clients who found their galleries without extra instructions.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Everything arrived on schedule. Notes were clear, and when we asked for a “before and after” section for retouching work, they added it without turning the site into something complicated.

Virtual Meeting

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They respected the pictures. Color, cropping, and how images appear on small screens were treated as first priorities, and their writing sounded like us.

None from our side at this stage; the plan fits exactly what we need.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

They met with me to watch my day from first call to final note. From that, they laid out clear screens for intake, a today view, a calm notes page with our templates, and a simple way to collect signatures. They also gave me a plain budget and timeline broken into steps I can actually follow.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

During a small trial week, new client setup dropped from about fifteen minutes to eight. I stopped retyping the same information, and pulling a chart for a returning client took seconds instead of a few minutes. I also left with a short list of settings that will help me manage no-shows and late cancels more consistently.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

They kept a steady rhythm, showed up prepared, and summarized decisions the same day. When I asked for a way to mark high-risk clients without putting labels everywhere, they adjusted quietly and got it right.

Virtual Meeting

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They respected clinical work. The designs feel calm, the language matches how I chart, and they always treated privacy and consent as first priorities rather than add-ons.

Nothing stood out as missing for this phase; the plan is ready for build as is.

BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the director of marketing and communications for a nonprofit organization that protects nature in Israel.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with AppMakers USA?

We needed to build a simple app where hikers, families, and students could learn about local species and habitats, see nearby conservation projects, and sign up to help.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

AppMakers USA met with our educators and field staff, then sketched easy screens for a map, trail cards, species pages, and “how to help” actions (volunteer, donate, report an issue). We got a plain content plan (Hebrew/Arabic/English), photo and icon guidelines, basic safety notes (seasonal closures, fire risk), and a step-by-step build timeline with costs. They also suggested offline basics so the app is useful out on the trail.

What is the team composition?

We worked with 2–5 teammates from AppMakers USA.

How did you come to work with AppMakers USA?

Someone referred AppMakers USA to us.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent less than $10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from October–November 2025.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We left with a small clickable demo and one clean content sheet instead of scattered documents. On a short pilot walk with 25 volunteers, people found trail rules and species info in a couple of taps, and our guides spent less time answering the same questions. We also saw more participation. It’s been great I’ve really enjoyed working with them!

How did AppMakers USA perform from a project management standpoint?

Everything showed up when promised. Meetings were short, recaps were clear, and when we asked for offline notes and simple alerts for closures, they worked it into the plan without complicating anything.

What did you find most impressive about them?

AppMakers USA actually came outside with us, watched how people use their phones on a trail, and cut features we didn’t need.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, they hit what we needed, and nothing felt missing or overdone. Honestly, I have no complaints. They really ticked all the boxes for me.

What advice do you have for clients with similar needs to yours?
Focus on what you can control, momentum and progress matter more than perfection.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with AppMakers USA?

We needed help providing more efficiency in attracting the correct target base.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

AppMakers USA interviewed our investor relations (IR) and marketing teams, then produced a sitemap, page wireframes (home, strategy, portfolio, team, insights, contact), and a content model with reusable blocks.
We also received a plugin shortlist (performance, security, SEO, forms), hosting/CDN recommendations, Google Analytics 4 (GA4) + consent notes, an accessibility checklist, redirect/migration steps, and a phased budget/timeline. The team also documented editor roles, approval flow, and how to keep WordPress lean (no theme bloat, minimal plugins).

What is the team composition?

We worked with 2–5 teammates from AppMakers USA.

How did you come to work with AppMakers USA?

We found AppMakers USA through a referral. We chose them over other options because they were a great culture fit, and their company values aligned with ours.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from October–November 2025.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We left with a buildable blueprint, Figma wires, and an implementation checklist our team can follow. As quick wins, we compressed hero images and cleaned up titles/meta, saving ~28 MB from the homepage assets and knocking about a second off load time on our test phones. We also saw a 6% increase in user engagement throughout the short period.

How did AppMakers USA perform from a project management standpoint?

AppMakers USA had amazing project management. We primarily communicated via email and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

AppMakers USA had quick and clear communication and was very professional.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There was nothing they needed to improve — the scope fit, the guidance was clear, and nothing felt overbuilt.

They had a section on the main page to submit an idea, it was easy so I did.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

I am not a person well versed in technology so I did have a lot of questions and concerns and they took the time to address them.  They made changes based on my suggestions.  They encouraged my feedback and we spoke frequently throughout the project.  I was always able to reach anyone at the company and they were very responsive and respectful.  I came to them with an idea and no means to make that happen and they made it happen.  I was able to see my vision come to life and I would and hope to work with them again.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We completed the research and development and that was the progress we intended to make for this first part of the project.  It was a successful process in that respect.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

I had no problem communicating with anyone from AppMakersLA.  Everyone returned any of my messages in a day and offered to get on a zoon if needed.  We also did several zoom calls throughout the progress of the project.  I never had an issue.

What was your primary form of communication with AppMakers USA?

• Virtual Meeting
• Email or Messaging App

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I thought it was unique that the company was built because of a bad experience working with an app builder.   So, they take pride in their service and their name.  Also, if you are like me, not well versed in technology they are a great resource to advise you. I was so nervous to try to create something that I had never done before.  I needed help and I found it.

Are there any areas for improvement or something AppMakers USA could have done differently?

No, I don't think so.
