We drafted an initial short project summary followed by a longer detailed project outline that explained the website designs, functionality, data sources, programming languages, and other specifications to be built. Alluxi reviewed the designs and specifications and built a website that matched the project outline and that functioned reliability and predictably for the intended purpose. Communication was frequent (daily over email and Slack) and included a weekly update call.

The Alluxi team formed a development plan and stayed to the plan and schedule. Alluxi was responsive, communicative, and flexible throughout development. Communication was frequent through Slack, email, and Google Meet.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Alluxi’s knowledge of web development was excellent and was focused on the best outcomes while also maximizing programming reliability and saving costs when possible. Communication was outstanding as well. Alluxi was knowledge about several solutions to a given problem and explained the advantages and disadvantages of each alternative.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Alluxi could have done differently?

None, Alluxi is excellent and should not change its approach towards clients or projects.

I’m the CEO of a technology and innovation startup.

What challenge were you trying to address with Alluxi?

We needed a company that could develop a mobile app for us.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We hired Alluxi to develop a social media app for iOS and Android. We started the engagement by providing the team with general guidelines, after which they delivered a proposal and started working on the app’s development.

What is the team composition?

We worked with Alluxi’s CEO, a creative manager, and a couple more other people.

How did you come to work with Alluxi?

I found Alluxi through online research.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent around ₱120,000 MXN (Approximately $6,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked on this project from October 2021–June 2022.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We haven’t launched the app yet, so we don’t have any metrics of success yet. However, we could definitely say that the final product met all of our expectations.

How did Alluxi perform from a project management standpoint?

Alluxi performed well in terms of project management. They were incredibly professional, communicative, and collaborative throughout, which allowed for a smooth workflow.

We typically communicated using WhatsApp, Zoom, and in-person meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re most impressed with Alluxi’s professionalism and accessibility. They were also great at providing feedback and ideas to further elevate the product.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It would be great if they had an office of their own because they currently share theirs with another company.
