Our company is called Synergy Marketing Consultancy, and I’m the managing director and one of the partners of the organization. We’re a market research company based in the UAE.

What challenge were you trying to address with Al Kaf Information Technology?

I needed assistance with a bulk email campaign. We were conducting market research surveys with consumers. I had to send an email with a unique survey link to approximately 800,000 people.

What was the scope of their involvement?

I don’t have a Microsoft Outlook license for bulk email, which is why I needed help. They were quick to understand my needs, and as soon as I sent across the template, they managed to send a tester email within a couple of hours, which was exactly what we needed.

I gave them a database of email IDs along with unique survey links. They created an email text where the name and the survey link had to be replaced for each email. They provided me with a dashboard to see how many of these emails were sent, opened and how many were not delivered.

I dealt with one person from their team. She was my only point of contact.

How did you come to work with Al Kaf Information Technology?

I searched on Google. I wanted a supplier based in the UAE and found Al Kaf Information Technology. They said they would be capable of managing the bulk email sending requirements. They were one of the first companies I got in touch with. They understood my need and gave me a reasonable quote, so I went ahead with them.

How much have you invested in them?

We spent about $800.

What is the status of this engagement?

I worked with them in December 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They were quick to understand my need. As soon as I sent my database over, they took care of all of the emails in one go. It was quite prompt. We had to send a couple of reminder emails, which they also did. Overall, the turnaround and quality of the response were outstanding.

How did Al Kaf Information Technology perform from a project management standpoint?

It was a very small requirement. My point of contact handled all my queries via email and WhatsApp. Everything went smoothly, and I have no complaints. I can’t assess how good the team is beyond my point of contact.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their response time is impressive. I called them pretty late in the evening, and they were quick to answer. I spoke with them right away, and by the time I discussed the requirements with them, it was very late in the evening. They were so accommodating and flexible. My point of contact was very good at responding to my request.

Are there any areas they could improve?

When my contact sent an email from the company, her message came through, but when some of her team members sent the email, it was getting blocked by MS Outlook. It went into spam, and I had to get into my junk folder to get the email. Other than that, it was fine.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

It was a two-day project and a simple bulk email project, so I cannot assess anything beyond that. I can recommend them because they are outstanding and responsive. They were quick to understand the need I had.
