ByondXR develops a platform which enables retailers to design and delivery of virtual stores and deliver those over their eCommerce website. For that purpose, a multitude of UI components and infrastructure is required. Addweb provided ByondXR with professional developers who participated in the development of such UI and logical components. 

Through the collaboration with Addweb ByondXR was capable of extending its professional development teams and substantially increase the velocity of our development. The developers assigned to ByondXR are/were highly proficient and dedicated workers.

I work at a IT company where i'm the project manager at. We deliver e-commerce solutions for business customers.

Our idea and basic wireframes needed a solid development strategy. AddWebSolution were very responsive and proactive since beginning of the conversation. They did not set any wrong expectations, but guided us at every step with their meticulous attention to detail to ensure we live our idea and turn that into a reality with precision. Communication along the line was fantastic and everything was transparent.

Initially, we thought, it’d cost us huge money, which wasn’t the case, but we got “TRUE VALUE” for our money. Design & develop the web and mobile application as per our requirements and also help us with its digital marketing

Talking to many other vendors [aka sales people], we felt as if we were just a money machine to meet their sales target. However, with AddWebSolution, we spoke with their CoFounder Ashish who is extremely patient, knowledgeable and experienced and off course their technocrats. As I mentioned earlier, their proactiveness and ‘We Care’ attitude was demonstrated since beginning along with clarity of questions and a clear roadmap about the solution

They designed, developed and helped us with the launch with a clearly defined project execution plan with regular updates and sessions in every week. The fresh and clean look of the web and app has been well received by users. Average spend time has been at par with the industry and also the constant increase in the number of users are clearly evident impact.

Extremely effective project management in agile manner with industry standard tools. We’ve been given a SPOC [Single Point Of Contact] during the entire project execution to address our queries well in time. Milestones were delivered as per the sprint planning. Team got scaled up in between the project execution due to the addition in requirements to ensure timelines aren’t extended and we were able to launch on time.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Incredible knowledge, sense of accountability, proactiveness and meticulous attention to detail, the list is really long. We are very happy!

They have been efficient and courteous throughout the whole project with impeccable communication on time. They should take a break on weekend

I am the founder of the company and our solution is to provide curriculum aligned and specific practice questions for Georgia based school students. The practice questions will be in an online tool so the parents do not have to print anything nor check the answers.

We hired AddWeb to help design, develop and do digital marketing for our company. Our goal was to have a fully functional online web app for the users and to create awareness via the digital marketing.

I searched online for web app developers and after interviewing about 8 to 10 different vendors, I decided to go with AddWeb. The price point, experience and on-point communications were the key deciding factors.

A website using WordPress and a web app using Laravel on the AWS platform.

Architect and the lead developer were the main points of contact. But there were at least 3-4 developers and 1 UX person who were in meetings at some time or other.

We will be launching our digital campaign soon... looking for a wide outreach and increasing subscriptions soon.

We had daily stand-ups for 5 to 15 mins each day. Skype was used for the communication and video/audio conferencing. GitHub was used for capturing requirements as issues.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The owner is easily accessible and willing to listen to what we need. The team is knowledgeable and hard working. The web app development is coming along very well. There were hiccups but the team was willing to help figure things out. Communication is very quick and the team is easily reachable/accessible.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Planning for backups in case key developers not available would help and reduce delays.

Our company provides energy assessments/audits and weatherization. I am an auditor. We perform test that discover the "leaky" areas in your home. We also check conditions of the combustion appliance zone.

Two people that I am aware of. Ashish and Apala. I believe Apala works for Ashish. Apala does graphic design layouts and Ashish program and edits the website.

A couple of years ago, I was working as a freelancer for a company and I needed an extra set of hands for a large e-commerce website that included over 4,000 products.

I hired them to work on the website. I have continued working with them since. They do monthly digital marketing, website updates, and more. They’re in the process of building the mobile app for the website.

There are around six people including an SEO person, a developer, QA, a manager, and content writers. They add and remove people based on the needs and expertise that are required.

We started working together in June 2018, and the work is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They’ve increased the website sales from $15,000 per month to $300,000 per month within one and a half years. They’ve been very helpful especially with digital marketing and website updates. The quality of the work is very good. 

They’re very professional and work quickly. They have a QA team that makes sure that everything is up to the standards. When it’s submitted to the client, there tend to be no issues.

How did AddWeb Solution perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re very professional. We communicate mainly over Skype. We have a chat and sometimes when something needs more clarity, we have a Skype call between the teams to discuss what needs to be done. Someone records the Skype chat and drops the short description of what’s been discussed so that everyone is aware of what needs to be done.

We have shared documents on Google Drive, and we use GitHub for bug tracking.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The speed at which they work and their reliability are impressive. We can message them anytime and they’re ready to help. We had a hacking incident and they were very supportive and quick to respond.

Are there any areas they could improve?

A year or so ago, there were times they weren’t doing the QA as well as they do now. They’ve really improved over the year. Their work is always done on time and they give very good rates. If something breaks, they fix it free of charge.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

They’re an asset to any project. They have a big and experienced team. They don’t just do websites. They can do C# application development, mobile app development, and more. They cover a lot of expertise. I definitely suggest working with them.

They did a deep dive into the existing code and started identifying the low hanging fruits to get better performance. We made a plan together what to implement and in what order. Then load tests were performed after each implementation and until a good performance was accomplished

We had dedicated .Net expert and who also collaborated with the DevOps team on issues regarding Redis cache

The impact was very good - we got the performance we needed and the server which the site was running on has significantly less load after optimization

The structured way of working and that didn't give up even though it was a difficult task. And that they went out of their way to see to it that we got results.

The goals were simple- using Drupal 8, develop a theme and all associated functionality to mirror our design agency's' and content architect's site design and layout.

AddWeb organized, structured, developed, and configured a full Drupal 8 website, front-end, back-end, and administrative interfaces. This included advanced search, rendering, and fully customizable responsive layouts.

The team was made up of a number of people- including backend and frontend developers, project manager, technical project manager, QA, and account lead.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

So far, we have received very positive feedback on the new website, layout, design, and functionality.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

AddWeb did a great job of helping build out the project, by reviewing our layout, designs, and content architecture- they were able to put together a comprehensive project plan, identify milestones and timelines in a useful way for us and our client.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

AddWeb's maturity over the last 4-5 years and flexibility to accommodate their clients are the most impressive.

Are there any areas for improvement?

We have been quite happy with AddWeb- the only shortcoming in our last engagement was probably in the Bug Fix category. In their eagerness to respond quickly and fix open bugs and issues expeditiously- some got closed before the entire bug was completed. However, after brought to light and re-opening, AddWeb still went back and completed all bug tickets satisfactorily.
