I needed to set up a website for my business.

What was the scope of their involvement?
Vitec GmbH has developed my whole website from scratch. Although I initially provided them with some designs I had made on a PowerPoint presentation, the team handled the entire project by themselves. The presentation included an idea for the style I wanted to see on the website and some of the implementations needed. As for the technology stack, they've used Elementor and WordPress. They've also added a lot of plug-ins.
Currently, our work is almost done, and we're about to go live with the website. We just need to implement some new things.
What is the team composition?
I only worked with Marc (CEO & Co-Founder).
How did you come to work with Vitec GmbH?
Years ago, I had done research on a web development company on Google and Fiverr. When this project arose, I remembered Vitec GmbH, so I searched for them on Google.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent €6,000 (approximately $6,500 USD).

We started working together around January 2024, and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
First of all, I'm very impressed with the outcome. Vitec GmbH has built my website from zero to a functional product, which is outstanding. They really worked hard on this website to make it special and integrate all the features I needed. As a result, the website is outstanding, so I've received very positive feedback from people who have seen it.
Vitec GmbH has really understood my business needs, which are very special. This website addresses a very sensitive and hard topic, so I had a clear vision for it, and they've implemented it all. Overall, the results have been outstanding and exceeded my expectations. How did Vitec GmbH perform from a project management standpoint?
It has been great to see how fast and how well Vitec GmbH delivers. Their communication is very clear and consistent every time. Moreover, they've always delivered on time. On top of that, the whole process of hiring them and setting everything up was brilliant.
Vitec GmbH has also delivered on budget, and there have been no surprises cost-wise — this is very crucial when having a limited budget. The team has implemented all changes within budget, which is great and shows that they're empathic. I have confidence in them, which has set a good foundation for future collaboration.
Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?
Working directly with Marc has been a success factor in our collaboration. He has been responsible for the project and for coordinating everything, so he has been involved in each and every problem and query I've had. Moreover, he has always been up to date on what's going on, so he knows the next steps. This is a crucial success factor.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They are very professional. They are very good at what they do.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can't think of anything Vitec GmbH could improve on. Along the way, I saw some things to improve and change. Thus, I spoke to them about how we could make things better, and they implemented it very fast, showing a deep understanding of my needs. Although everyone would like to have their website ready in four weeks, this is just a dream, so I can't say that they could have been faster. Overall, everything was perfect.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
Marc has very good project management skills, so he has ownership of the projects. Initially, we had very good alignment calls, so I can only recommend to leverage these calls, as it's very helpful to speak to him directly.

I found them online. I initially researched and talked with the developers I’d potentially use. Vitec GmbH’s history of projects was very impressive; I saw many apps they worked on, and they were great.
Moreover, I trusted Marc from the beginning. He knew what he was talking about and was a good businessman. In general, he was very transparent and impressive.

We’ve spent close to $60,000.

We began working together in March 2021, and our partnership is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
To be honest, we’ve gotten more than we were expecting. It’s our first time developing any software, and Vitec GmbH has blown away our expectations; they’ve been fantastic. They get everything done in good time, and the product is exceptional. The application is already on the App Store.
How did Vitec GmbH perform from a project management standpoint?
They don’t return to us and tell us we went over and owe them money. Vitec GmbH sets good expectations beforehand; what we see initially is what we pay at the end.
Moreover, the team does a great job and is diligent in their process. They’re incredibly friendly people and good at communicating. They keep us in the loop about everything.

Vitec GmbH has built apps that condense 3–4 platforms the client previously used into one. Within a year, the client expects to have 200,000 purchases executed on the platform and around one million users. Vitec GmbH delivers work on time and on budget and communicates via Slack and WhatsApp.

I'm the president of a company that hosts national youth sports tournaments.

What challenge were you trying to address with Vitec GmbH?
We needed to create a registration platform.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Vitec GmbH has developed a web platform and mobile application for iOS and Android devices. The team has built the entire platform from the ground up, handling the design work and wireframing.
What is the team composition?
I have contact with Marc (CEO & Co-Founders) and two developers from Vitec GmbH, although a few other professionals have worked on my project.
How did you come to work with Vitec GmbH?
I don't recall how I initially found Vitec GmbH. I chose the team because when I met with Marc, I thought he was a personable guy. He was easy to get along with, and I like to work with easygoing teammates. I've found it's easy to find someone who takes their job too seriously or someone who doesn't take it seriously enough.
How much have you invested with them?
We've spent close to $1 million on this project.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with Vitec GmbH in August 2022, and the engagement is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Vitec GmbH has built a platform that condenses 3–4 platforms we previously used into one. The platform has made communication between end users and my staff seamless. Over a year, we'll probably have close to 200,000 users executing a purchase on the platform, and within that, we expect to have close to a million users visiting the platform.
Vitec GmbH's development process has been seamless as far as getting a product developed without going back to the drawing board to work out details. We've done product development, and you can tell the difference between working with Vitec GmbH and other providers. Going back to the drawing board can take weeks or months, and with Vitec GmbH, it usually takes a day.
How did Vitec GmbH perform from a project management standpoint?
Vitec GmbH delivers work on time and within budget. The team responds well to my needs, and Marc is always willing to work with me when there's an oversight, whether on my side or his. We communicate through Slack and WhatsApp.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Vitec GmbH is very workable and manageable, distinguishing them from their competitors. Marc is an easy guy to talk to, and he helps me figure out my problems.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can't think of anything Vitec GmbH can improve.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I recommend spending some preliminary time on your framework. Define the ideology of how you want things to work and what needs to happen with the end user. The more prepared you are, the better Vitec GmbH will hit the ground running.
