The scope of work began in small steps as we began to realize our actual needs that differed from our initial planning. Anand and I worked closely in planning, development and execution. We used PHP laravel for all of our web and back end development.

Throughout the 2 years, we worked with a team of 6 (or more on certain occasions). Anand, a project manager, 2 lead developers, 2 designers, and 2 testers.

We created milestones through weekly and bi-weekly sprints that included debugging. We develop and test at each sprint that resulted in rollout.

We used Slack, Jira, and email. But our most valuable interactions were on constant video conferencing through Skype. This is by far the most invaluable correspondences.

I am a contractor for a management consulting firm. Our client is a company responsible for identifying, locating and removing asbestos from buildings.

We created an application to create asbestos management plans and reports.

What was the scope of their involvement?
They built the app from scratch for Android and iOS. For asbestos removers, the app records locations, takes pictures, and allows the user to fill in the information. The goal was that the application would then generate a report that documents the location and information for each project.

I had contact with one person, but I know there were more people behind the scenes.

The applications aren’t functioning anymore. There were issues along the way, and the apps aren't currently working on any platform. Our main goal was to get the apps up and running. Unfortunately, we didn’t end up at that point.
There were times that that applications were functioning. However, the application crashed any time it had an update or a new feature was added.
How did Vibeosys Software Pvt Ltd perform from a project management standpoint?
The project management was excellent. They worked with us to fix any problems, which is why the engagement was long. There were no issues in communications.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They did a great job understanding the application and how it would function.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They could’ve made an application that was more robust. The coding was quite poor according to a third-party we hired to evaluate the application.

Be clear on your expectations. We thought we were clear, but we probably weren’t in hindsight.
