As a serial entrepreneur, it can be very challenging to efficiently manage several projects alone. I was looking for a team with knowledge, understanding, and expertise in E-commerce to help with some technical tasks that I couldn't properly handle on daily basis. I wanted to increase my ROI by hiring the right team for the project and eventually build an online business with a strong foundation.

I have been referred by one of they happy customer who's a friend of mine. I chose Urtasker based on its operational structure, skills, and services offer.

We started the project by setting up goals/objectives for the short and long term. My team has implemented a strong plan of action, search for some winning products, and has established a connection with many suppliers to source our products.

I work with 1 project manager, 1 quality control assistant, and 2 E-commerce specialists taking care of PPC optimization, contents creation, and other backend tasks.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Our sales are gradually increasing. we saw a 92% increase from January to May which is amazing.

We used Microsoft Teams as communication tool for both daily and monthly meetings.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I'm impressed with their involvement, patience, and hard work. My team is very responsive and sometimes works after office hours.

Like I said its an ongoing project since July 2020, I have a designated account manager and a project manager we communicate on daily basis they suggest me all the pros & cons that make it so easy to decide which strategy to adopt for more profitability

Its in a very friendly manors like we are in our own family virtually, we use multiple method of communication e.g Zoom, Microsoft teams, skype also whatsapp so we can be in touch even after working hours

I’m the owner of a Fulfilled by Amazon (FBA) company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Urtasker?

I needed help in FBA launch, product research, and sourcing. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Urtasker is helping me find profitable products in China that we can import to the US and sell through Amazon. We are working together to source around 10 products — they research the background of the products they come across. Additionally, they manage our advertisements, listings, and PPC campaigns. They assist me in all tasks concerning my e-commerce store. 

What is the team composition?

I primarily work with Aaron (Specialist), but whenever we meet through Skype, there are 3–4 other people that view our meeting.  

How did you come to work with Urtasker?

I found them through Google. After listening to what they could do for me, I decided to go with them. 

How much have you invested with them?

We have spent around $3,000–$4,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in October 2020, and it’s ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

It’s been a slow start getting the products from China, and right now, we still have a few products in transit. That said, I can definitely see our revenue starting to increase. We’ve been brainstorming together to increase our sales. 

Urtasker is good at getting views, but we’re trying to refine our campaigns and minimize our ad expenses because it’s cutting into the profits. Despite that, everything seems to be going well right now. 

How did Urtasker perform from a project management standpoint?

They update me weekly on the tasks they completed and loop me in about their day’s agenda. We usually communicate through Skype; they send a detailed email at the end of the week. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m impressed with the level of their communication. Throughout the day, they communicate what they’re working on and keep me abreast with their progress.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything. Everything with Urtasker has been straightforward. If they’re not sure about something, they give me a call. I don’t have any qualms with them right now. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Consider your relationship with Urtasker as a long-term relationship. You won’t see results overnight; you have to be patient and allow them to use their expertise.

This is, and will remain, an ongoing project. Urtasker takes care of the details so that our time can be devoted to product design.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Not yet - we're dealing with the shutdown challenges. I can say that my V/A has relieved a lot of stress.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We video conference monthly with the whole team. Daily skype sessions allow me to address any questions or concerns. Daily reports are emailed to me.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

My V/A was already familiar with both Amazon and my accountability systems.

As we work together I learn my V/A's strengths and where my talents are more applicable. I don't see any areas for improvement.
