We initially had a great deal of difficulty in getting approved for an account by Amazon. This was the only time I was disappointed. I felt that Shoaib could have been much more forthcoming with the guidelines and how to navigate the initial questions. But that was the only problem. Once the account was created Qasim was great and very on top of everything. He handled the project and questions very well so were are pleased with Qasim and how he handled everything once the account was set up.
What was the team composition?
Shoaib was really our lead in the beginning with Qasim helping. Once the account was set up it was really Qasim handling everything.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We have launched successfully in my opinion. I am one of several on the team from my company, so the decision to continue/not continue isn't mine, but that of my superior. A little background: I work with a very traditional company that doesn't work in e-commerce. Amazon is not something that they initially supported so it has been an uphill battle to get them on board. I think there is a future with this project and Urtasker, but I that decision will have to be made by my superiors.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
It was pretty good.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
I think the availability of Urtasker is really important. I work in Spain, but do business in the US and that time difference is hard to maneuver, so it is helpful that Urtasker is 24h. Qasim is obviously knowledgable and familiar with American consumerism, as well as very friendly. That has made our working relationship really pleasant and productive.
Urtasker goes the extra mile to make sure their clients are happy. They're willing to be flexible to make sure they are.
Are there any areas for improvement?
Nobody is perfect, nor is any company perfect. But I think that Qasim and Urtasker are always aiming to please and looking for answers. There isn't a 'I don't know' response, but a 'Let me find out for you' response. I think that is key. We all work differently,

For what projects/services did your company hire Urtasker, and what were your goals?
Because I am a solo-entrepreneur, I knew I needed to outsource the web development work to experts who know what they are doing, and who can execute on my concepts and vision.
How did you select Urtasker and what were the deciding factors?
I had heard of Urtasker from a friend, and had a chance to meet the founders and some of the employees. I saw that Urtasker is very involved in industry events for top Amazon sellers.
I researched further into the company, and was impressed with the founders themselves, and the way that the organization is run. In addition, I was able to feel from afar that the employees are very passionate about executing excellent work for their clients, and that is a fun atmosphere to work in.
For all of these factors, I decided to go with Urtasker.

We had a kick-off meeting to discuss the goals and objectives. From there the team executed on the vision. As with many projects, there was a hold up, and in this case, it was my manufacturer that slowed down the delivery of inventory which cascaded into a delay in product photography, which of course impacted the Web development timeline.
Despite that, Urtasker accepted the time delay (on my side) challenge with grace, and worked hard to accommodate those delays, and deliver a finished product as expedited as possible.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
I had several team members working on this project. Some on the Amazon side, and others on the e-commerce platform. The project manager with my main point of contact, who worked with other internal team members to execute on the project.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
For me, this is a new e-commerce platform, it looks stunning, is easy to navigate, and quick to load. Urtasker was there to answer all of my questions as a newbie to the platform, and help guide me as I myself am also getting up to speed on how to run the operations side of the business through the platform back office. Urtasker was a great partner to me in that sense.

If you want to engage in something like this, you have to be patient and give it time. It takes them some time to understand your business, what you’re trying to do with it, and what you’re trying to optimize. You can’t just expect them to jump in and deliver results. If you give them time, the results are going to be really good for you.

We had an existing Shopify site that hadn't been updated in 3+ years. We created a 'wish list' of functionality that we wanted to add to the site, as well as a complete rebranding.
Things included: Customer Wish List Inventory tracking Social media integration to other channels, Amazon, eBay, Facebook stores to name a few. Once the project started, I was in daily communication with the Urtasker team, reviewing progress and offering guidance to changes where needed.

I wanted a partner to manage PPC campaigns and Amazon administrative tasks such as shipment reconciliation and reimbursement.

Additionally, they built two websites. One website included a blog and a trademark. The second platform doesn’t have a blog but has a trademark pending. We communicate via Skype and have a monthly call when we review strategies. They send a daily email and a weekly email with a list of their tasks and their associated time requirements. Once a month, I also receive a call to check my satisfaction with the team. They’re available and responsive, even weekends. Their team never misses deadlines.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Urtasker’s a partner that knows how to do their job well, setting them apart from a VA. If necessary, they’re ready to replace a team member. They’re knowledgeable and flexible to my requests.

It would be nice to have an SOP (standard operating procedure) library to host all of their tasks.
