It started with running my PPC, but then they made my a+ content, made me video ads, updated keywords, opened support cases to get reimbursement for amazon errors, and even helped research product to launch.

I have an account manager and am IT manager. It is super helpful, my AM, Athena has been a really big support, and my IT manager, Wajahat has been a complete rockstar in running the technical aspects of my listing.

Sales in the USA have increased while my PPC spend has decreased. My UK sales have over doubled and has been turning a much larger profit!

What was the scope of their involvement?

Urtasker does everything regarding the management of our Amazon account. They create and optimize listings, work on digital image editing using Photoshop, and create bundles of images for our products. They also take care of tasks such as submitting cases, registering brands, and pressing for Amazon’s support for the resolution of issues.

Urtasker oversees the keyword research and incorporates high-ranking keywords into our listings and product images for content optimization. They handle our PPC advertisements and make sure there’s at least 50% ROI on ads. They also conduct research around our competitors.

We work with Stephanie (Account Manager), who is our primary contact. Aziz (Analytics & Technical) and Natasha (Analytics and Technical) work on the technical side, handling keyword research, pricing analysis, and other tasks to ensure our Amazon account is running smoothly.

We researched about them through Google and Clutch. I like that they have experience with Amazon and the beauty industry and have more affordable pricing than their competitors. I also felt assured because they had an action plan for every one of my concerns, so I decided to work with them.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They have met our set expectations, which are at least two listings activated per week as well as weekly keyword and pricing analysis reports. There are occasional grammar corrections that need to be made, but overall, the quality of their work is good.

How did Urtasker perform from a project management standpoint?

Stephanie is always available and extremely responsive. They have met all the timelines and are very communicative, which I appreciate. We have meetings on Fridays, ad-hoc meetings on Wednesday, and communicate via email and text.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We ask a lot of questions since we’re new to Amazon, but they address our every concern and take time to answer all our questions, explaining the process to us. They also take time to get to know us, our team dynamic, and research our products and competitors so that they can do the best job for us.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s nothing right now. Any concerns I’ve had have been brought to their attention and resolved.

Make sure to align Urtasker’s experience with your industry. Get to know the account manager to ensure the compatibility of drive and goals before signing the contract.

Urtakser helps me with customer service by responding to our messages. I’ve given them access to our account along with some templates to answer questions. 

Beyond that, they fix our online listings, doing some research into our competitors’ products before adjusting our titles, bullet points, and pictures. They also provide support on keywords and search, come up with their own ideas for improvements, and help with inventory.

So far, it’s been an amazing experience. Before, so many things weren’t going so well, but now they're doing better.

They’re very responsive and are always available to me. We have weekly meetings with the project manager and two resources where I’ll set up the goals. We’ll go through the goals, taking note of what we’ve accomplished and our progress. Sometimes, they’ll bring new ideas to the table for me to approve.

The team is great! They're all knowable and ready to help.

In the beginning, I gave the team goals, but it wasn’t until the project manager joined that the project started to move. Having a project manager made a big difference.

Write down your goals and go over them with your representative so that they can match you with the right project manager.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Everything we’ve done with them has been a collaboration. Urtasker helps us create better content and leverage available tools on Amazon. They’ve assisted us when it comes to updating our storefront, improving our listings to include their suggested keywords, and uploading photos and videos to give us a much better structure and presence. 

Urtasker has also helped us create links to our Amazon store, which we would then post on our social media pages. They’ve also been helpful in giving us promotions to run within the Amazon Ecosphere. Their team is now working with us on promotions, in preparation for Prime Day 2021, and on adding new items to our Amazon shop.

What is the team composition?

There are primarily three people working on this project. I am in contact with an account manager, an account representative, and another member who helps with style and project coordination.

How did you come to work with Urtasker?

I found them through Google then looked at their website to see what they had to offer. I reached out and we conducted an initial session to get to know each other. I was impressed with what they are able to do and their understanding of the world of Amazon, so I decided to work with them.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $1,300 a month since February. In total, we’ve invested $5,200 in the past four months.

We started working together in mid-January 2021 and our partnership is still ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’re using our year-over-year (YoY) sales on Amazon as one of the metrics. However, it's not a fair way to measure Urtasker’s impact because a year ago, our sales were artificially inflated when people were hoarding at the beginning of a pandemic. For this month, though, our YoY has been up to about 45% already. We’re usually at only a tenth of that each month.

They’ve been very collaborative and taught me a lot about what tools, terminologies, and techniques I could use within Amazon to improve our presence and increase our sales.

How did Urtasker perform from a project management standpoint?

Urtasker is outstanding. We communicate via Microsoft Teams and have weekly meetings where we establish deliverables and timetables. Urtasker also prepares a PowerPoint presentation with the weekly reports and analytics which they show during meetings. My primary contact within their team generally gets everything done within a day or two.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The most impressive thing about them is their communication. They’re very good about leveraging the tools that we already have to send documents to me regularly. I also appreciate their expertise; they really know what they’re talking about and what they’re able to do.

Are there any areas they could improve?

None that I can think of. We’re going to be engaging them to enhance our listings on our other e-commerce websites, so that will probably give me a better sense of their capabilities in other areas.

Keep an open mind. Ask a lot of questions and be prepared to learn a lot from Urtasker. They’re very good at teaching what they’re doing and how it will impact your business’s performance.

I had hired them previously for a separate business venture and I was happy with the results they had provided in the past.

Initially Salman and the team met with us to determine our goals and discover our pain points. Through this discovery process we identified 3 main priorities, as well as a few other areas that required attention. PPC optimization, Inventory Management, and SEO were the main focus.

I mainly worked with 1 brilliant individual by name Salman. He was the assigned expert that was in charge of accomplishing most of the tasks. I was also introduced to Shoaib which was Salman’s supervisor in the event that I had any concerns that were outside of Salman’s scope of work.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Salman has had a major impact on our business over the past few months. His hard work and dedication have allowed us to 3x our sales, while at the same time improving our return on advertising by 4x. His work has been outstanding and his results speak for themselves.

Salman has been excellent at meeting all deadlines and has exceeded expectations. All communication is done via chat through Microsoft Teams. We also have monthly video meetings with Salman and Shoaib to discuss results and plans for moving forward. Salman has always responded in a timely manner regardless of the differences in time zones. He even responds on weekends although out of respect for him I try avoid this.

I am impressed with Salman’s expertise in all topics Amazon, PPC, and SEO. His dedication to the success our business is truly outstanding.

I’m the owner and president of Traffic and Trade, LLC. We manufacture dry-erase magnetic refrigerator products, such as planners, calendars, and menus.

We needed help managing the Amazon Seller Central platform. We wanted to have a person or company constantly making sure that the account is in good standing so that we can focus on what we do as a business.

What was the scope of their involvement?

I was launching 30–40 new SKUs, which involved new listings, new images and content, and optimizing the list. It was a daunting administrative task. Once Urtasker created those lists, they worked on drawing traffic to them. They handled keyword research, competitive analysis, and PPC management.

Urtasker used my previous listings and products on Amazon as a basis. I had some successful products already, which they made a competitive analysis on. They determined how we could improve those and what direction to take on the new ones.

From there, we moved to building an Amazon store and entering content. We utilized all the opportunities that Amazon provides to brand owners. I have a registered brand with Amazon, so I took advantage of the different services they provide. Urtasker provided the expertise to actually implement those things and move them along.

I know what I want for my brand, but Urtasker knows what’s allowed, in terms of Amazon terms and services. They’re giving me guidance on what the best route to take is. I look at them as a partner. I give them ideas of what I want, but I’m really looking for them to solve these things and provide me a solution. I don’t want to just be dictating them what to do.

I’m working with around five people from Urtasker, including an account executive, a quality manager, and a social media person.

How did you come to work with Urtasker?

I first looked for virtual assistants with Amazon experience, but an individual might leave after 3–4 months, so I started looking for companies.

Urtasker’s name popped up a few times on some Amazon Facebook groups. I did some research on them, and we had a meeting. I felt that they could perform the task and that they understood Amazon ecosystem and terms of service. They made me confident that my account wouldn’t go down and that they wouldn’t do anything outside the terms. Their people were vetted and trusted, and that’s what sold me on them.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They’re great at finding things that are easily missed. I didn’t even have my tax settings set up correctly in the marketplace, and Urtasker fixed it. I was paying taxes out of my profits, so they’re probably going to save me $15,000–$20,000 just by setting it up correctly. They’ve caught a lot of inventory errors.

I’ve launched 30 new products, and it takes a while to build them up, but we’re talking about hundreds of thousands of dollars in the next 2–3 years, once I get them established. Urtasker can handle it all, from the biggest things to the smallest things. I’m optimistic about the future, and they’ve already saved me money by catching mistakes.

How did Urtasker perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re very organized, and the communication is excellent. My account executive is in their New York office, and I can get a hold of her anytime. The hours are clearly set for the team in Pakistan.

They put together project plans and we go over them. They meet milestones, and they track everything. Urtasker hasn’t been late on a deliverable yet. I’ve sent them some things late, which delayed the project.

I’m comfortable working directly with the team in Pakistan. The communication is easy, their English is great, and they have high-level technical knowledge of Amazon. Microsoft Teams is our primary communication tool, and we put together project timelines in Excel spreadsheets. Everything is shared through Google Drive.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They offer full services, from administrative work to higher-level things like driving traffic to Amazon from social media. I want to build my own e-commerce platform, and I found out that Urtasker offers those services as well.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could be more assertive and not afraid to bring information and ideas out of the gate. I want to get things done faster, and Urtasker is more concerned about making the client comfortable, so they don’t want to go too far.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

Clients should trust that Urtasker isn’t going to impact their business negatively. They’re not going to get the client’s Amazon account suspended. That’s been a thing with virtual assistants, but they’re a BPO.

They’re a big organization with a lot of resources, and they can help companies grow fast. Having Urtasker makes me feel like my company is a lot bigger than it is. They know what changes are coming in the marketplace. My advice is to trust them and their expertise.

Our reach has grown and our spending is down. Within the first six weeks, they were able to significantly limit our cost. These savings have allowed us to expand the scope of our PPC campaign.

How did Urtasker perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re great. Whenever I encounter a problem, they’re quick to open a ticket so that it can be resolved as soon as possible. Their team is very responsive. We communicate via email and Microsoft Teams.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re pretty efficient in what they do. There wasn’t much setup or acclimation time needed.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I’m not super familiar with Microsoft Teams, but that’s not really an issue with them.

In the beginning, you need to have a clear understanding of what you’re trying to accomplish. They move fast, so you should know what you want to do. There’s definitely room for the engagement to evolve down the line, though.
