I'm the VP of growth at a company that provides a mobile application for iOS and Android devices. Our app is essentially a marketplace where users can create and publish their own games and play other users' games. I'm responsible for overseeing the platform's user growth.

We required support in creating email marketing flows since we didn't have any campaigns or onboarding journeys.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Uplers was responsible for the initial design and coding of our email marketing flows using HTML and CSS. I initially provided the team with brand assets and examples of emails to portray what I was looking for and requested them to use that material as a baseline.

I had worked with Uplers before when they had a different company name. Uplers acquired this brand, and that was when I reached out to the team.

We worked with Uplers from May–July 2024.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Uplers helped us set up our marketing emails and get them running. We didn't have email campaigns before and don't have anything to compare the team's work with. Our goal was to have emails we could publish and run, and I was satisfied in that regard. 

How did Uplers perform from a project management standpoint?

Uplers delivered work on time and communicated via Slack.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Uplers' availability and work speed were their most impressive attributes. The team was able to produce good work at a low-cost rate and in a reasonable amount of time, which was a good balance.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I noticed a couple of coding issues in some of the emails, but nothing serious.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

I don't have any particular advice, but I definitely recommend working with Uplers.

The goal of this project was to develop two webpages for the marketing website: an About Company page and a Customer Voice page. The webpages were be created in a way that allows for flexibility, enabling us to easily add and edit content without requiring additional development work. 

The page needed to be responsive, displaying properly on different devices and screen sizes according to the design specifications. Both pages has various elements that required development knowledge and experience to ensure optimal performance and functionality.

• A version was shared for review in the staging site where we were able to provide feedback.

Uplers provided clear communication on the timeline of the project and throughout the review process for needed adjustments. The team was great with responding promptly to questions and always very professional.

I greatly appreciated their communication and willingness to help. The team was happy to show how to make adjustments for any questions I had about updates to the pages or functionality.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Uplers could have done differently?

I appreciate the screenshots when I asked questions about a feature, but sometimes a video explanation may have helped to better understand. I did meet with a team member for a webinar, but had some difficulty following clearly since I did not have as much technical knowledge. But he was extremely patient with me which I appreciated so much.

The landing page played a key role in a campaign that we were running and got positive comments internally

We communicated with Uplers via email which worked very well despite time difference. They were very quick at responding to messages and kept us updated throughout the process.

They work very fast and deliver projects on time. They also helped out a lot with the implementation of the code even though it wasn't apart of the initial scope in order to make sure that the project was done in time.

No, we're happy with their work.

They assigned a project manager and a project lead who are always available via email and a weekly call that we have scheduled. On the technical side, this is done by different members on the team, each one being skilled in their specific areas.

Since the project started we have seen considerable growth across the Search Engine Traffic as well as Keywords moving into the top 3 places.

Uplers have been fantastic at delivering on time, they are always available if we have any questions and hit deadlines consistently.

Their level of professionalism and ability to hit deadlines consistently is impressive. No stone is left unturned with their research and they will change and adjust to suit your needs.

I’m the marketing operations manager at a cybersecurity company. A lot of my work is connecting Marketo to other tools and processes.

What challenge were you trying to address with Uplers?

We were in desperate need of new email and landing page templates. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Uplers has just developed a master webinar module template for our email marketing. At the beginning of that project, I provided Uplers’ team with all the modules we wanted them to design and code. We went back and forth on the designs, making slight changes and adding new pieces. Uplers’ team is currently putting the module into Marketo and testing it for us. 

For the landing page project, our in-house creative team designed the landing page according to our graphic design standards. Then, Uplers coded the page and input it into Marketo. They made the changes we requested and added new options for the template. 

What is the team composition?

We worked with a senior account manager who handled our onboarding. We also worked with two other teammates. 

How did you come to work with Uplers?

I contacted Uplers, who I’d worked with at a previous company, and asked them to bid on this project. 

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested around $2,500, but we expect to spend more as the partnership continues. 

What is the status of this engagement?

I expect our relationship, which began in August 2022, will continue well beyond the next year. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Uplers delivered what we requested and more; we have several more projects for them to take on. Since the landing page has yet to be used in a campaign, there aren't specific metrics to determine the partnership's success. However, the new template will give us a lot of flexibility to do A/B testing. I want to stress how great Uplers is to work with and the quality of the work they deliver. 

How did Uplers perform from a project management standpoint?

Uplers is very responsive, especially when it comes to updating us on their progress. They always let us know the next steps and when they’ll be done. If there is a change in the timeline, they’ll reach out. They consistently ask for our input on their deliverables to ensure we get what we want. 

At the start of the project, we had Zoom meetings, but communication since has been through email. Uplers’ team is very responsive and executes changes within 48 hours. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They have excellent customer service. Uplers’ team listens to what we need while also using their expertise to guide us toward the best solution for our challenges. They provide great insight into how templates function in Marketo. I’ve worked with them several times and have always been happy with the results and the ease of the partnership. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t think there is anything for them to improve. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Ask questions! Uplers has a lot of expertise and can provide good insight into what is possible when implementing templates into an email platform.

I am an Integrated Producer at a marketing and branding agency in Australia.

We have used Uplers on many occasions previously for client work including website development and troubleshooting.

How did you select this vendor?

I'm not sure how we originally were in contact with Uplers, but since I have started working with the company I've had nothing but good dealings with them, so we decided to engage them once again for this project.

We needed to create around 6 HTML5 banners to send to our clients media company. While we provided the images and text, we needed assistance with creating the final output, which included loops, fades, hover states etc.

What was the team composition?

I was the main corresponded between our account manager and the devs and I would send on the final outputs to the rest of our team for feedback and approval.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our HTML5 banners have only just gone live so we don't have any results as yet. But myself and the team were very impressed with the turnaround speed and final designs - the client was also very pleased!

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

It was very good. The time difference was a little tricky when coordinating feedback but we were able to work with that.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We were impressed by how promptly they could go from approval of the project to delivering final outputs. The media company also missed one of the banners so we had an urgent turnaround at the end for this, which was a very quick process.

Is there any area for improvement or anything that could have been done differently?

Not that I can think of!

I wasn't impressed with Pardot's landing page builder, and wanted a custom template. We created a PSD file, and Uplers created it in CSS and HTML.

How did you select this vendor?

I met with a representative on a call to ask a few questions and he was very polite and informative, and said they could build the landing page to my specifications.

I wanted a Pardot landing page with a carousel with embedded videos. I sent them the layered PSD file and they produced and uploaded the finished coded template into Pardot within 2 business days. They also make little fixes to the template, and when I asked for a few design changes, they made those, too.

I mostly worked directly with a project manager and was also contacted by an account manager who wanted to ensure I was satisfied with the quality of the product.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The campaign just launched, so I can't comment on a conversion rate. I will say the page looks great and everyone on the marketing team is very happy with the result.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

If I sent a request to fix or change something, it was always complete by the next morning. We mostly emailed, but they were available for a call if needed.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was not expecting them to be available to support me in using the landing page after it was complete and they were paid, but they are still responsive if I have little questions. Being new to Pardot -- and not comfortable with coding -- I find this feature very comforting.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nope. We were impressed by their A+ product, customer service, and pricing.

We are a company specializing in helping expats in Germany find the best insurance plans for their individual circumstances. My role here is Content Marketing Manager.

Both for marketing efforts of our main brand, as well as taking a sister brand off ground, Uplers supported us with SEO and SEM measures and content creation. As the insurance market is very competitive in Germany, our goal was very broadly to improve our ranking and grow our brand awareness.

Unfortunately, I cannot comment on this as I joined the company only after Uplers was selected.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The Uplers team was very flexible and open to our requirements and wishes. Even with a time difference, we were able to communicate well and got regular updates on our SEO stats and updates.

We regularly communicated via E-Mail, Slack and video calls, which we were able to flexibly schedule according to the day's or week's situation.

Even with changing circumstances, the team at Uplers was able to quickly adapt to our requirements, which is very important to us. The entire team, but especially Paryusha and Ryan were very helpful, reliable and competent and made sure to communicate deadlines, deliverables etc. quickly and dependably.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Project documentation over a longer period of time would be helpful for reference, whenever a handover is required.

I am the business owner for an online retailer of import toys and collectibles. We specialize in anime figurines, statues, clothing and goods.

For what projects/services did your company hire Uplers, and what were your goals?

Sales were flat and we needed to increase traffic and ultimately sales to reignite growth.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Uplers stood out among the many others because they really took the time to understand our business and industry which is very nuanced. They delivered extremely detailed strategies and had a strong understanding of exactly what needed to be done to help us reach our goals.

Our initial scope was to have Uplers properly setup and then run our Google Ad Campaigns. They first completed an audit of our current campaign structure and discovered many areas that could be drastically improved upon.

On-site coding was analyzed and necessary adjustments we made to ensure we properly tracking all conversions which is our main KPI. Following, they prompted us to segment all of our products into a variety of different categories for a discovery period.

After the discovery period, they strategized and developed an entirely new campaign structure to help us maximize conversions. From there they deployed specifically targeted Search, Brand, Display, Shopping, and Remarketing Campaigns. We almost immediately started seeing results. After being very pleased with their performance, we have since extended our contract to also now include Facebook, Instagram, and Bing.

They assigned a project manager named Keshav and technical aid Aejaz whom then carried out requests for all activities required amongst another set of team members to facilitate all efforts.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

As a retailer, our main KPI is conversions revenue. Month over month we continue to improve and maximize sales even on the same budget.

They are one of the most communicative firms I have ever worked with. We have weekly zoom meetings and are connected via messenger so there is always an open channel for dialogue. They follow-up with detailed emails from all calls and meetings recapping topics of discussion and documenting any action items. We receive monthly reports and analysis which provides us a comprehensive understanding of campaign performance to ensure every ad dollar spent is being maximized.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their level of professionalism and overall knowledge within the industry stands out. They put in a lot of due diligence before getting started on any task and it’s ensure we have had both a smooth and successful ongoing project. It is exciting to find a firm that becomes equally excited with project performance.

Truthfully, I really have no complaints. They have executed at every stage of the project and I look forward to our future endeavors for continued growth.
