Main project assistance was keeping Wordpress sites up to date. Uplers would update the staging site and send it back for review. After being given the go ahead, Uplers would then update the live site. The documentation for the updates is superb and something I have copied for my own external clients.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

In my five months working with Uplers, we have only seen one fatal WordPress error while managing our 10 sites. That error is quickly and easily fixed and something that was not even preventable!

Very effective. The team was responsive and able to complete tasks on a regular basis. Asana was the main tool used for collaboration and easy documentation.

Overall expertise with website management and development. Being the sole IT person for a company it was really great to have an expert team that was able to assist. Documentation and the ability to handle any curveballs that get thrown was really great!

While we have not yet launched the site, our internal team has been greatly impressed with the work from Uplers and we are so excited to create new leads from the interactive and visually appealing design.

We worked with Arjun Sharma and Jebin Joy who were absolutely delightful to work with. Arjun and I were able to communicate regularly and ask each other questions on an ongoing basis. Arjun was always responsive via email and phone calls and communicated proactively and effectively. It was always a pleasure to work with Arjun on any task.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Arjun and his team made our web development process easy and manageable. As we do not have rich experience in WordPress or web development, it made it stress-free to know that we could count on Uplers to help us bring the final product together.

I really do not have any suggested areas of improvement for the Uplers team. We wish them all the best and know that they will continue to make clients successful in their marketing goals!

It was a lighthearted and topical piece that would be pushed out to local and national media to essentially bring more traffic to their site by creating an asset that readers would find relevant and relatable.

Being in the Marketing agency industry, Uplers was recommended by a contact. We initially got in touch and had a call to discuss requirements and timings to create the asset. These estimates worked really well for us so we decided to hire for this piece.

Kick off meeting to discuss requirements and timings. Then wireframes were sent over, these again were discussed over a call and they outlined timings of animations within the asset. I then designed the full pages, and sent them over to Uplers. We had another call to clarify and they built the page. We were then provided with a staging link to check the page

Uplers has approached our company in 2017 and offered their services. After talking to a few other companies that provide similar services we decided to go with Uplers as they ticket the most important boxes for us.

After creating a good base of understanding of the brand and company goals of our client as well as our company, we develop next steps in cooperation with Uplers on how to proceed with the campaign.

Uplers will then go ahead and act on the first items that we then review and give feedback on. The feedback will be used to optimise the tasks and documents and then we send the work off to the client for the final confirmation before implementing everything for the campaign and pushing ads or SEO implementations live.

After collecting enough data on actioned items we revise the campaign again and optimise detected opportunities.

I am working closely with the project manager of the campaign and also the point of contact in Sydney. The project manager at Uplers is very familiar with our way of working. When Uplers changed the project manager the succeeded in making the new project manager as familiar as possible with our values and processes.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Uplers supported us an reaching a ROAS of over 700% for one of our biggest clients. They also have been able to keep the ROAS constantly over 500% for this seasonal Facebook ads campaign in the US.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Neethu, our project manager, and Mariya are amazing to work with. They work very hard to achieve the goals we are aiming for and their communication is incredible.

We really grew together as a team and achieve great results together. When given feedback Neethu and Mariya act straight away and adopt requested alterations.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I find most impressive the great work morale of Uplers. Everyone works really hard and always does their best to deliver on tasks. They want to achieve a great result as much as we do and they are always super friendly and respectful.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Though Uplers works very hard and does really well, an area of improvement is consistency.

When requesting a modification it always gets implemented immediately but sometimes wasn't implemented again for the next time this situation came around. Like a modification for a report for example. It should be mentioned, that this is an area that Uplers have constantly been improving in as well.

We shared sample designs along with similar websites that were in line with the type of website we wanted to be designed. The project was broken into two stages, (1) design (2) Development.

Uplers reviewed our notes, shared sample designs asking for feedback along the way. Once we signed off on the design we started the development stage until project was completed.

The project is focused on supporting a national ecommerce retailer grow their online position. I and my team are working with this company to establish and drive the strategy that will do this.

The focus of the project was to build an SEO strategy centred on content expansion, site optimisation and data tracking that would help generate long-term exposure, position the brand as an authority in the industry, capture leads, and ultimately convert them into paying customers.

What were your goals for this project?

Goals focused on are as follows: Increase relevant traffic. Grow email list. Provide visitors a personalised experience with useful pages and content. Go beyond blogging, and provide truely informative content that has solid engagement. Increase sales. Ensure site is optimised to provide a strong desktop / mobile experience.

How did you select Uplers?

We selected Uplers through referral and communication with them. After clearly defining our goals we spoke to them about their project methodology. They clearly outlined their SEO strategy development approach, how they managed data tracking, and broke down their in-house skill-set. It become clear that they were worth working with.

After defining goals and going through the onboarding process with them we set in place a plan that focused on delivery of the following scope of work:

  1. Site audit to understand the issues the site may be impacted by - per quarter
  2. Competitive website audit to reverse engineer those elements that competitors are using that could be applied to our brand
  3. Keyword research that would link to demographics that drive targeted traffic
  4. Review site architecture and provide recommendations, including content direction, to support expansion that feeds exact match intent of potential customers
  5. Optimise site content in a manner that make it keyword rich, while relevant for our audience
  6. Filling site content gaps by optimising site Title and Meta description, Header tags etc.
  7. Set up Google Analytics, GTM, GSC interpretation, and data studio reporting
  8. Ongoing analysis and data insight provision

Working closely with a technical account manager and lead technical strategist / subject matter expert.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

In terms of growth, at the highest point, YoY traffic has seen a 36% improvement, with seasonal revenue reflecting this also. But more important than the growth has been Upler's responsiveness and communication during those periods that required strategy pivoting due to under performance from particular campaigns.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Workflow has worked well. They have been responsive to feedback about my preferred working still and have improved on this. Simple things such as task tracking, confirming deliverables from meetings, meeting notes and ETAs for tasks all go a long way in making it easier to keep track of multiple moving tasks.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

In short the knowledge of team members that I interact with, along with the depth of knowledge in the wider group. If the person you are speaking to doesn't have the answer they will be honest about this. But there will be someone on team that they will go to who generally can cover the feedback you need technical and non technical. They are nimble in their approach and provide clear briefings.

Are there any areas for improvement?

There is always an opportunity for improvement. In this case it comes down to project scope. Would recommend that clear project briefs are provided in order to ensure that the team you are working with have an understanding of expected outcomes. That way all sides understand expectations.

They took an existing template design which was on an old setup and redeveloped it to be more flexible for future use and incorporated visibility on mobile device. I provided additional guidelines to improve the page and the team was able to take those asks and implement them quickly.

Team stayed pretty small. Not too many people were involved. Myself from my side and perhaps two folks from Uplers.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The template has not been put into use yet but has given us the opportunity to prepare our MOPs team to be ready for the next request.

Communication was great and flexible. The team is patience and yet responsive when we're ready to engage. All communications for this project. was done over email and there was little miscommunication and screenshots are helpful.

Their ability to turn around an initial draft is rapid. They are great listeners to your ideas and needs and can transform them into tangible assets as expected.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Perhaps a form for collecting branding essentials especially if a client expecting to work with Uplers a long period of time. It would be ideal to be able to request and the team knows what are the basic requirements are when developing new templates needs. Having to upload potentially the same files over and over is a hassle when it could already exist in our instance from a previous project.
