I work as a project officer for a medical specialist college.
What challenge were you trying to address with Uplers?
We wanted to promote and increase traffic to a webpage that we recently developed on our website.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Uplers created a campaign structure to disseminate a webpage we developed for Google Ads. They also helped identify keywords. Once we had reviewed and approved the final structure, they managed the Google campaign, which lasted six weeks.
They made some SEO recommendations to us, as well.
What is the team composition?
I worked with Dimple (Account Management Executive) and Priyanka (Sr. Project Coordinator). The team also included an SEO executive, senior analyst, and a team lead.
How did you come to work with Uplers?
Uplers had provided a quote on a previous campaign we had wanted to run. I reached out to them to discuss this project. They were respectable and friendly, and they had a clear vision for the project.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent about $2,500 AUD (approximately $2,000 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from August – October 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We have seen an increase in traffic on the website. Uplers met our expectations, and we are happy with the results we’re seeing.
How did Uplers perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re professional. The team provided weekly progress reports and made suggestions of ways we could save money wherever they saw the opportunity.
They were available and responsive, always answering within 24 hours. Communication was excellent. We had calls throughout the campaign and used Skype.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They were easy to work with and quite flexible. I was new to working with Google Ads, and I appreciated Uplers’ patience and support throughout the process. I would definitely work with them again.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There were some typos when I reviewed the campaign structure. It’s important to get that right since there are keywords involved. I did discuss it with them already.

I'm the owner and CEO of Big Up Marketing. We are an event management, fulfillment, and marketing company based in the Denver metro area.
For what projects/services did your company hire Uplers, and what were your goals?
We built our first website ourselves back in 2013 using WordPress. It was good enough for our purposes at the time, but after seven years, we needed to improve the look-and-feel to better represent our brand. We also wanted to change our messaging to reflect new and different services we had added to our offerings after several years in business.
We wanted to build a website in WordPress so we could quickly and easily update the website on our own, without calling in outside help for simple changes. This was also an important requirement because we already knew how to use the product.
Most of our business has come through referrals. We wanted to grow at a faster clip, so we needed a nice-looking site that conveyed what we do in an easy-to-comprehend way. We wanted to build traffic to our site that leads to more prospects and more customers.
How did you select Uplers and what were the deciding factors?
We had worked with Uplers on several of our clients' projects before selecting them to design and develop our new website. Uplers had developed Marketo landing pages and emails for us based on designs that we sent them.
They did so well on these projects that we decided to ask them first if they could design and develop our new website. They put together a great plan at a great price, so we decided to go with them.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
To kick off the project, we completed a website design questionnaire that asked us what colors and fonts we wanted to use, as well how many pages we wanted to design and develop for the website. We didn’t have an established style guide, so we asked Uplers to help us create our look-and-feel using the colors from our company logo.
We also directed them to base their design on two websites that we liked in terms of navigation and layout. Based on our responses to the website design questionnaire, Uplers created a wireframe of the new site with the basic design elements included. The wireframe and design were just what we were looking for, so we didn’t have to make many changes at all.
Once Uplers had established the layout and design of the new website, it was our responsibility to provide images and copy for every page of the website. We wrote each page individually and sent the copy along with the images we wanted. This process was slow for us, because the pandemic struck around the same time we started sending them our pages.
Uplers was very patient with us as we slowly delivered all our pages while we were trying to focus on the survival of our business. The project would have been completed in two months or less if we had all our copy and images ready to go. The project took five months to complete, but that was because we were so slow to deliver everything to them.
Uplers delivered a responsive WordPress website that looked much more professional than our previous website. They included a slider section at the top of our home page that we can easily edit and add new sliders to.
They also included scrolling customer logos and testimonials, animated service line images, contact forms on two pages, a page with a downloadable case study, and a neat animated image on our home page that showed visitors that more content was on the site if they scrolled down. Uplers was very patient with the pace at which we delivered content, which helped us out a lot. They also were particularly good at making changes when we decided to make simple changes to some pages.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Communication with Uplers was very straightforward. We always knew who to contact at every stage of the project. Vignesh, our account manager, got the ball rolling and pulled all his design and development together for a kick-off call. We then worked with Utsav, the designer, on the wireframe, navigation, color scheme, animations, and other layout elements. Once the design phase was completed, we then worked with Dhruvin, the developer, as he coded Utsav’s design and deployed it to our web server. Having a single point of contact throughout the project made it easy to work with Uplers. I’m sure others were working behind the scenes, but it was transparent to us. We enjoyed working with each member of the Uplers team. They are all very good at what they do. We appreciated their patience with us the most. They were always waiting on us – not the other way around. We wanted to deliver content more quickly, but the pandemic greatly disrupted Big Up’s ability to deliver to Uplers in a timely manner. They just took our delays in stride, and gently nudged us along the way.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Our new website looks much more professional now, and better conveys what we are trying to communicate about our services and the benefits our clients can realize. It is laid out in a way that makes it easier for our visitors to find the information they need.
The color scheme Uplers created from our logo also looks very nice, and the animated elements make the site more interesting than static sites. We’ve received lots of compliments from our clients, and it’s easier for our prospects to understand what we do.
We still need to implement SEO before we get any measurable results. However, we did receive one call from a prospect who found us via a Google search. So, we’re confident that we will be able to generate more traffic once we optimize the site.

Uplers’s project management style fit well with our requirements and timeline. We wanted to get the website live as quickly as possible, but we also wanted to make sure we put a great deal of effort into making sure we were communicating our value proposition the best we could.
We wrote the copy and found the images for each page and delivered them piecemeal to Uplers as we went along. They were very flexible and built out the dev site structure and added the content as we gave it to them. We appreciated their patience and responsiveness during the entire process.
We really liked the tool they used for us to provide feedback on the site so they could make minor changes. The tool, BugHerd, allowed us to navigate through the site and log issues with the BugHerd browser plugin. It was super simple to learn and easy to use. The Uplers dev team always responded quickly to our change requests, and it was cool to see all our changes being incorporated so quickly.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
What impressed us the most about Uplers’s work was the depth and breadth of skills they brought to the table. From design, to development, to production, the team we worked with was always able to meet our requirements and provide recommendations based on their experience.
They developed our website in WordPress, which is what we wanted because we’re familiar with the platform and can make quick and easy changes ourselves. We were unfamiliar with some of the plugins they used, but they taught us how to use them.
We were also incredibly grateful that Uplers was regularly backing up the site for us. We accidentally deleted some pages a few weeks ago and had to take down the site. We called Uplers, and they restored the site the same day. I’m not sure how long they keep performing backups. They probably don’t do it forever, but they kept ours long enough to save the day!
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
The project went very smoothly, and I can’t think of any areas where Uplers needs to improve.

Uplers provided a top to bottom service from forming the strategy in conjunction with ourselves to then executing the whole campaign. We had an aim to achieve 500 customers in a year that monthly comes to 40-42 SQLs which Uplers have achieved and over-crossed on a monthly basis. We also wanted to improve the quality of applicants, striving to achieve 30-40 successful applicants per month, which has been achieved. Time for some new goals!
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The workflow has been very effective and the Uplers team has managed to meet the tightest of ETAs and provide the documents without hampering the quality. We have asked a lot of the Uplers team and they have never left us wanting for more.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
The breadth of services and support Uplers provide in terms of IT and digital marketing is amazing, it gives us the benefit of having one partner for all our needs rather than having multiple providers. But perhaps more importantly they are always open to discuss, explain, educate or adapt to requirements from our client or ourselves, without causing any headaches or complaints.
Are there any areas for improvement?
As Uplers are constantly working to improve themselves, grow, learn and just be amazing it is hard to pick any specific areas where they need improvement. If I had to pick one it would be category research and access to commercial/industry data sources.

The quality of their work is exceptional. I feel comfortable having them on our team and that’s how I see them, as part of our team. I wouldn’t turn to another vendor for development work.

Their project management’s great. Uplers gives clear deadlines and timelines for milestones. They’re committed and responsive. The level of detail in their work is amazing too.

To launch these pages with as little impact to the current site's SEO as possible.

We have worked with Uplers on a number of projects and found that they consistently complete projects on time and provide very responsive service. They happily work through any bugs and issues that come up.

We asked Uplers to develop a homepage, blog listing/post pages and fix bugs on this website. The homepage needed to be completely editable by the client. It also incorporated a podcast player that automatically updated via RSS feed. The blog listing page needed to accommodate dependent filters, multiple featured blog posts, and manually editable blog feed at the bottom.
What was the team composition?
I worked with our project manager, Dhruvin, throughout the project. Dhruvin worked with his team to answer my many questions and to troubleshoot issues as they came up.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
This was a very complicated project on a site that introduced a large number of variables. Dhruvin was patient and readily answered any questions as they came up. He was communicative about timelines and worked with me to meet our deadlines.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Uplers will always stand by their work. If something comes back that has bug, or even if it just didn't work out how you thought it would, they will happily fix it. They are very responsive and will work with you to hit deadlines.
Are there any areas for improvement?
Overall, Uplers really does put the time and effort into providing customers with the best service. Every company has an opportunity to improve, but with Uplers, those things are fairly nitpicky. I have had some projects come back that weren't developed according to all the specs we laid out, but that can be just as much due to how we present the information as it is to an oversight on the dev team's part.

We design custom Inbound websites for our clients and then work with a development partner, such as Uplers, to develop the site on HubSpot. The completed sites need to be properly coded on the CMS so they are user friendly for our clients and team of marketers to edit. The sites also must have the proper site architecture to support SEO.

They were very responsive to our initial reach out, and offered unique and cost-effective solutions to get us the development team for our projects.

Our custom designs needed to be exactly conveyed into code on the HubSpot CMS, and still make the page layout highly editable by the end user. Previous development vendors were not able to deliver this.

We have an Account Supervisor who we discuss billing with. We have an Account Manager who prioritizes tasks and reviews project. And we have a dedicated developer who works full-time on our projects.

Our previous experiences with outsourcing development resulted in poor outcomes, with many technical kinks that caused my team to spend additional hours to inspect, report, explain and follow up on issues, or fix ourselves.
Since starting to work with Uplers, we have had stellar outcomes on our web development projects, with little to ZERO issues to be fixed.

We share a project management software with Uplers, where we enter in dev projects to Proof Hub, where they can see the project and we can message each other with any questions, or to share finished work.
Our dedicated team of Dhruvin Surotia and Arpan Patel have been very responsive, detail-oriented, and timely. Dhruvin is an accurate project manager, and is always planning ahead, and Arpan's development work has been very high quality and thorough.

In addition to this, we've seen many positive results when the campaign has not been affected by the client and has worked really well.

I've actually felt that working with the team at Uplers has been really positive. They are always there to answer questions and keep in touch on a regular basis, so it ensures we keep regular contact and not go off the schedule (although, I think from our side, we've been a bit neglectful in the past too!).
It has been a pleasure to work with the team. The only one thing I would suggest, would be in terms of commercials. I feel that sometimes my expectations and communications are clear on a call and then, perhaps, mislead on an email conversation.
Despite this, since I've been on board, I've been really happy with the team communications and being able to adapt to our changing circumstances. So a big thank you from me.

Sometimes on a call, I feel like communication might not get across. I appreciate the need for both parties to get the sale. But when things aren't sitting right with the client, it's really important to fix it for them first.

Working with Uplers we have been able to drastically improve our keyword rankings, with many keywords ranking on the 1st page. Our site traffic has increased and many of our visitors have commented that they found out details about us online.

Uplers management style has been efficient and impeccable. We frequently communicate via email and zoom meetings on matters and Uplers are always quick to deliver on changes requested. Their team will also provide summaries of our meetings, follow up on pending items and present monthly digital reports.

The frequent communication, follow through and willingness to deliver really sets them apart. Not to mention their in-depth knowledge of the subject, which consistently delivers results.

Main project assistance was keeping Wordpress sites up to date. Uplers would update the staging site and send it back for review. After being given the go ahead, Uplers would then update the live site. The documentation for the updates is superb and something I have copied for my own external clients.
What was the team composition?
Project manager and developer.

In my five months working with Uplers, we have only seen one fatal WordPress error while managing our 10 sites. That error is quickly and easily fixed and something that was not even preventable!
