How did your relationship with your partner evolve?
Upcall called all of the 1,000 contacts we provided them, and logged all of the calls in the dashboard. We didn't get the results we hoped for, but the visibility was helpful.
In what ways can they improve?
 I'd appreciate if they had fewer dialers so it was easier to train/upskill the ones they have.

We hired Upcall to work as a backup for our internet leads. Our agents work the leads for so long, and if they still have no success, they’re sent to a separate database where we have Upcall work them for the agent. The goal is to pull out more “at bats” with the leads we have without slowing down our agents’ day-to-day operations.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Upcall makes five call attempts to reach the prospect. Once they get the prospect on the phone, they set up an appointment for them to chat with one of our agents. The team also provides a very detailed customer dashboard so we can review progress and even listen to the phone call recordings.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Upcall does a great job and delivers what they say they’re going to do. We’re currently turning another 2%–4% of our leads into appointments, where before, they were going to waste. The number of appointments set is our gauge for progress.

How did Upcall perform from a project management standpoint?

Upcall’s project management is quick and responsive. We communicate via email and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive or unique about them?

We can use Upcall’s system whenever we see fit and whenever it works for our model. There’s no contract with minimum spend. We load the data we want their team to work on, get charged for the number of pieces of data the call team will be working on, and they get to work. Because of this, it’s a universal system that fits any model. It’s very smart on their end.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Some callers are higher quality than others. That’s the only thing they can improve on.

Upcall has successfully booked meetings on my calendar. Moreover, 75% of the calls they make to leads end up with them booking a time on my calendar. Of those meetings, roughly 10% of them result in paid customers.

Upcall’s project management is great. They have high communication and always meet deadlines. We communicate via virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

Upcall has scheduled meetings with about 5% of our leads and gotten about 11% of our customers to turn on the new feature. These results are in line with our expectations.

How did Upcall perform from a project management standpoint?

Upcall is extremely timely and responsive. We communicate via email and messaging apps.

We’re impressed with the quickness with which Upcall can start a project and their success rate.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Some customers have reached out to us thinking that Upcall’s callers are spammers. We don’t know if there’s a way to avoid that, but we definitely don’t want to overuse Upcall and have people in the industry think our company is a spammer. Additionally, the integration with HubSpot hasn’t been as easy as we hoped.

Our goals were to run a test campaign of UpCall's platform and connect with 2-4% of our lead list. Along with meeting our connection metrics, we were primarily interested in the platforms visibility and agent professionalism.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our test campaign is still under way but our success has already been achieved. UpCall has checked all our boxes. Complete visibility to each call, agent professionalism and sales metrics achieved. After 1000 calls they have scheduled 2 appointments and over 30 follow up leads.

Lisa is our PM. She is very responsive and quickly enacts suggested tweaks, I listened to our script and suggested a change. Within minutes the team was utilizing the new script. This is the way business should be conducted. Kudos to Lisa and UpCall for building a better service model.

Complete visibility of each call. I've hired their competitors and didn't have much success meeting our sales metrics. Without this key insight how can you make changes that impact success? I couldn't until now.

Realizing the call agents are not specialist in every field we cannot expect them to know our industry as well as we do. This lack of experience can be a contributing factor for limited success. Additional attention to product knowledge training and commitment of understanding prior to launch may benefit new campaigns.
