Twelverays

BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and position.

I am the Owner of Drone Genius

Describe what your company does in a single sentence.

Drone Genius provides commercial aerial photography and video production for developers, architecture firms, and film and commercial productions.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What specific goals or objectives did you hire Twelverays to accomplish?

• Improve search visibility and generate qualified inquiries from developers, architecture firms, and film/commercial productions.
• Optimize the website around our specialized commercial positioning and actual portfolio.

SOLUTION

How did you find Twelverays?

I do not recall the original discovery channel.

Why did you select Twelverays over others?

Sales conversations and confidence expressed about improving rankings in my commercial niche.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

I paid $4,749.50 upfront in September 2025 for a one-time onsite SEO project. The listed scope included a technical audit, keyword research, title/description/H1 work, and content optimization. TwelveRays delivered keyword research, technical-audit communications, 23 neighborhood page links in October, and revised commercial service-page drafts in November and February. They also promised 100 citation links; I have not independently verified all of those placements. A separate LeadLens visitor-identification subscription became part of the billing dispute. My complaint is not that they produced nothing: it is that the initial work did not fit my business and required months of correction.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I did not see the meaningful improvement I expected. In my March 11, 2026 email, I reported flat Google traffic and asked why the work had not translated into ranking movement. TwelveRays disputed my interpretation and said the keywords in my report did not match its revised strategy. What I can document is 23 initial neighborhood pages, repeated repositioning and revision requests, and revised service-page delivery stretching into February 2026. Page counts were not the business outcome I hired them for. I regret the purchase and do not consider it good value.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

I spent too much time correcting the direction and chasing completion. In November I had to restate that I wanted developers, architecture firms, and production clients, not generic local drone-service traffic. In December I requested further revisions before final approval. Revised pages were delivered in February. I also took time to provide additional assets in January; not every delay was solely on their side. Lyric communicated and responded to feedback, but the process was much longer and more hands-on than I expected. The separate LeadLens billing issue also dragged on. In April, Henry acknowledged the initial pages could have been more tailored and billing follow-through had been too slow. I pursued disputed charges through Amex, which later credited at least one LeadLens charge.

What was your primary form of communication with Twelverays?

Email or Messaging App

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What stood out was the gap between the confidence in the sales conversations and how much correction the initial work needed. I gave positive feedback when the revised direction improved, but I did not find a distinguishing strength that would make me hire them again. Producing more pages did not compensate for producing the wrong initial positioning.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Twelverays could have done differently?

Understand the actual buyer before building pages. Use the client's real work to represent a visual production business. Their team acknowledged receiving my photo and logo folders during onboarding, yet confirmed in October that the initial location pages used mainly Shutterstock and Unsplash images, with some from Google. That was a serious mismatch for a company selling the quality of its own imagery. Set realistic sales expectations, deliver the right work without months of repeated repositioning, and resolve billing follow-through promptly. TwelveRays maintains that it exceeded the purchased scope. I disagree that page quantity establishes value. I regret hiring them and would not recommend them for a business with specialized commercial positioning.
