Tafsol is supposed to:
design and build the WellnessNow marketplace platform:web app (user panel + provider panel + admin panel),
mobile app (Android + iOS) for users and service providers,
using:MERN stack (web),
React Native (mobile),
Stripe as payment gateway,
AWS S3 (file storage),
SendGrid (transactional emails).
The platform will support three roles:
User (end customer) – registration, search, bookings, payments, reviews.
Service Provider (salon / specialist) – registration, profile, services, calendar, wallet, reports.
Admin – moderation, finances, analytics, content management.
 
2. Detailed functional scope
2.1. Admin – admin panel
Tasks / functions:
User management:add/edit users,
deactivate, ban, suspend accounts,

Scope:
Integrate Stripe as the only payment gateway:credit/debit cards,

platform deducts commission,
remaining amount goes to provider’s e‑wallet.
Handle refunds and exceptions at least to the extent supported by Stripe and required by the financial reporting logic (exact refund policy is not detailed, but technically Stripe must support it).
Deliverable:
A fully integrated payment flow with Stripe, connected to e‑wallet, bookings, and reports.
 
2.6. E‑wallet
For service providers:
Virtual wallet in the dashboard.
Funding:inflows from online payments after commission deduction,
accounting for commissions on cash payments (manually reconciled by admin but visible in the balance).

This was our first time using Freelancer and subsequently collaborating with an overseas company. As such, we were a little apprehensive to begin with. After looking through the bids and reviews of various Freelancers we decided to go with TAFSOL Technologies based in Karachi, Pakistan.

From our first initial zoom meeting, to the deployment of our system and associated after care, Tafsol have proven to be a solid partner. Aided by Vishal and Namrita, who managed the project and kept in direct contact with myself via WhatApp and Zoom.

They must have a special thank you within this review. Their willingness to fully understand our requirements, and how to implement our vision, while providing feedback and suggesting alternative approaches was fundamental to the success of the project. Additionally, they accommodated all the changes and modifications we required along the way. Nothing was un-achievable, and nothing was too much work.

Both Vishal and Namrita proved honest, reliable and exceptionally skilled technicians who are a credit to Tafsol Technologies. As such, we will be dealing with Tafsol in the future.

My initial worry was portraying our system requirements; the user interface, the functions required, validations, and generating outputs without being able to meet in person. But their approach to fully understanding our requirements is thorough. They listened to me explain these points on zoom, made notes and acted on what was discussed. The concept generation was interactive, to allow us to add notes to UI / UX designs until we were happy with how the system looked. Each phase of the system development was checked, tested by both parties, and rolled over to the next phase.

Naturally, as the system developed we discovered opportunities to add additional functionality not within the original specification. Tafsol were more than accommodating to this respect. If it could be done with minimal work, then the required function was developed and incorporated without charge. The three larger additions to the system required substantial modification to the work already completed. In these cases Tafsol quoted for the work and when given the go ahead proceeded with the work. The additional quotes were very fair, and work was completed promptly.

Finally the system was installed to our server with the database configuration. Obviously we experienced initial teething problems, but the technicians at Tafsol worked tirelessly to rectify these.

On the whole, there is no doubt that this company has both the expertise and the creativeness to do the job. Most importantly, they are a professional and trust worthy company. TAFSOL would be my first port of call for any complex / major project. With modern technology, I felt as if I was dealing with a company in our local town.

I would highly recommend TAFSOL Technologies, and look forward to future collaborations.

After godaddy migrated my website from one server to another, the entire website was not functioning.  They not only restored my site to full working order, but they also were able guide me through elementor purchase process required to make my site functional.  One function that did not work was my schedule page.  They developed a custom script that connected my google sheet workbook to several sheets and allowed me to show my schedule on my site.  I can't thank them enough for all the work they did for me!

We are going to design and develop an Influencer Hub Web App which is a comprehensive platform developed using PHP/Laravel, designed to facilitate seamless interactions between businesses, and influencers. This platform aims to streamline the collaboration process, enabling efficient management and execution of influencer marketing campaigns.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Milestones were created revolving around the waterfall methodology. We only paid for each stage once we signed it off and were happy with the deliverable. I.e. during the designing and prototyping stage Tafsol paid incredible attention to detail when producing figma designs and variations until we were satisfied. 

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Saad was our project manager and made sure all deadlines were met. We were able to include changes during development to better meet our customer's requirements. Saad had also included features that were outside of the project scope as a gesture of goodwill, something we never expected but were very grateful for.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The team were extremely responsive, we used a Whatsapp group to discuss the projects progression and any time we had a query they were able to provide an answer the same day.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Tafsol Technologies could have done differently?

As this was our first project of this scale, we were extremely impressed with Tafsol. There isn't anything I would change about the process.

TAFSOL has a robust project management system.  Delliverables / milestones were aligned and clearly communicated.  They offer 24 hour client support and are available for detailed project management meeting during working hours.  Weekly project status meetings were held and as well as adhoc meetings to address issues and oppotunities.

I personally tested the system and have been extremely pleased with the quality of the work and the responsiveness of the team to fix things.

Yes, all items were delivered within a timely manner. Were issues arose we worked together on them to ensure a faster resolution.
