I’m the co-founder of a technology-driven third-party logistics, sometimes called a 3PL. We offer comprehensive fulfillment solutions for e-commerce businesses. We started our business in 2014.

We needed a team to develop and optimize our mobile application. So, we required a development partner with deep technical expertise, a strong track record in mobile applications, and an understanding of the logistics stack.

Synergy Labs has built our app from scratch using Flutter. We initially provided them with our designs and scope of work.

The team has handled everything from UI/UX design and prototype development to the backend integration of our mobile app, ensuring it seamlessly connects with our fulfillment network. They’ve also worked on real-time tracking features, inventory management, and API integrations with e-commerce platforms.

Some of the app’s core features include seamless integration with major e-commerce platforms and marketplaces, including Shopify, BigCommerce, Amazon, Walmart, and eBay. These integrations enable automatic order import and real-time synchronization, ensuring a smooth flow of information between the store and our fulfillment centers.

Through our dashboard, users can manage inventory levels, track orders, gain insights into sales performance, and more. The platform also provides tools for demand forecasting, inventory distribution across multiple warehouses, and real-time visibility into stock levels.

What is the team composition?

We work with Malika, the project manager, and a business analyst. Throughout the project, we’ve also been in contact with four other developers.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Synergy Labs has delivered a fully functional prototype ahead of schedule, followed by iterative improvements based on user feedback. Based on that, they've also delivered an app that is now available on Android and iOS. They’ve proactively ensured the app meets our performance and industry standards.

Since launching, we’ve seen improved operational system efficiency, faster order processing, and increased customer satisfaction. Synergy Labs has streamlined our fulfillment workflow, reducing errors and enhancing real-time inventory tracking.

How did Synergy Labs perform from a project management standpoint?

Synergy Labs has delivered the project on time and within budget. They use agile methodologies and have direct access to their developers and project managers, making collaboration seamless and easy for us and them. Moreover, they have excellent communication skills and provide regular check-ins along the way. We mainly communicate via Slack and use Jira for project management.

Although the project is still in progress, we've already seen several key indicators of success. We've completed the initial planning and design phases, and both the web and mobile app development are well underway. We've achieved milestones such as developing the core e-commerce functionality, integrating secure payment gateways, and setting up the admin dashboard.

Our testing phase has shown promising results, with a smooth user experience across different devices. Additionally, early analytics indicate strong engagement from internal testers, providing valuable feedback that we’re using to refine the platform. These outcomes demonstrate that we’re on track to deliver a high-quality HVAC e-commerce solution.
