The main backend was developed in Node.js framework and MongoDB database used for performance enhancement, scalability, and user-friendly features. For the API, Suffecom used GraphQL, a query language, ERC 721 and smart contract in Ethereum. We have divided the project into 3 phases where the initial phase involved sharing MVP version.

For this, Suffescom designed and shared projects on Figma then on many calls we discussed backed panel and app features. Once we finalised the UI, the company started working on building the backend, parallely. The main segment of the platform is wearable GPS sensors that match with other aerobic activities, the team cracked the logic with continuous efforts and blockchain expertise.

Suffescom Solutions is developing our web platform using PHP and MySQL from scratch: their work is not based on an existing app or template. They also use Bootstrap and React for the frontend. In addition, they’re developing our hybrid mobile app, and it’s still in the early stages.

We gave them a pdf containing all the functionalities, deadlines, and other information they needed. We also asked them to sign an NDA. We didn’t have very specific ideas in terms of design, but Suffescom Solutions showed us a couple of examples. We just wanted a simple interface that was easy to load and easy to see; we didn’t want a complicated design.

The platform connects local vendors to suppliers and customers. An example would be connecting a business that sells scrap locally to a person that buys scrap in bulk. Vendors can list all their services in detail on our portal and have themselves found. It’s a mixture of B2B and B2C, and sales are done exclusively through bids. As a business model, we charge a small commission on the winning bid.

We’re focusing only on development for now, and they’re currently revitalizing the prototype they showed us. After we have a good app and web portal, we’ll start considering a marketing company in our budget.

I’d been in contact with some local firms before Suffescom Solutions, but they failed to deliver what I was looking for. Suffescom Solutions has done a good job, but I know that no company could perfectly satisfy my expectations. There would always be something missing in software development. I’d rate the team almost a perfect score since they’ve met my expectations.

How did Suffescom Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

They generally have good communication skills, but there have been a couple of times when they misunderstood me and delivered something different from what we requested. Most of the issues have been related to the bidding functionality we wanted.

We use Teams for live chat and video calls, and Trello for product reports, hourly reports, project management, and assigning tasks. I prefer recording the audio or video calls to compare against their weekly reports.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They have reasonable prices for their web and mobile app development services. Other companies I’ve been in touch with asked me for $100,000 for the same work. The price Suffescom gave us was half of that and that’s great because we’re a startup.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They should consider extending their working hours. They don’t work on holidays and weekends. If they’re working with someone that wants their project delivered as soon as possible, they should extend their working days to include Saturday and Sunday.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

They offer affordable services, but you should have some idea of the concept and design you want them to create. If you do that, you won’t have a hard time explaining what you need to them. In our case, we faced too many issues with the auction functionality we wanted to implement and their developers found it too hard to understand what it is and how it works.

They have strung me along for 10 months when they promised my partner and I, the app will be completed in 2-3 months.

We've shared the importance of timeline needing the app to be completed and PRINCE has shown any effort to get done. When shared we lost partnerships, money, deals, and time they showed no remorse. PRINCE has been our person of contact and the overseer of the project and is the worst Supervisor/manager. I just want to purchase the white label but he refuse sell to me and stopped responding.

This company is the worst company I've ever encountered.

They cost us partnership, money, deals, and time!

To our knowledge, this review was published by the Client without contacting Suffescom first. After resolving the whole scenario with the Client, both parties ended the matter happily.

Afterwards, the Client tried to approach Clutch to edit the review, yet they denied it. That's why we are trying to clear up the air by stating what happened in real-life.

The Client mentioned that we weren't selling a white-labelled solution. In contrast, Suffescom's primary work is to provide a solution according to the Client's requirements.

We follow a workflow at Suffescom, providing a timeline to the Client. Our project manager gives the Client a timeframe in which we deliver the solution affirmatively.

When milestones are important, they can affect the timeframe of the project as well

• Client takes longer to approve delivery.
• Milestone's payment is delayed.

In this case, the Client made the payments, but the payments reflected weeks & months late due to covid-19.

It was impossible to move forward without the Client's consent on the milestone & the COVID-19 wave hit our country badly, which took us time to gear back up. The same picture was there on the other end, where we kept on rescheduling the calls for several weeks.

PS:  We usually deliver on time, but things get out of our hands at times. In those scenarios, it's a humble request for the Client to be patient and understand the case for both parties' betterment.

I was the main project manager because my company is pretty much a startup. The entire project was run through Agile, and all of the website’s deliverables basically were achieved via Scrum and story points. That way, we were able to make sure that Suffescom was continuously delivering on the product, which they did exceptionally well. We communicated mostly via email, and then we used Skype for video calls and screen shares.
