Though we only went live recently, we’ve already had a meaningful increase in inquiries. Additionally, our overall web traffic has nearly doubled, and visitors remain on our site significantly longer than they did on our previously.

Storm Brain managed the project well. There were designated, shared folders for all the information and we had weekly phone meetings to review progress. We remained on the same page throughout the engagement, and their communication approach was effective.

It would have been helpful to have a custom manual for the backend of the site, created by the Storm Brain team. What was the scope of their involvement?

Storm Brain has been providing website design services for us. We’ve started working together on a project for a mutual customer, and that has moved to a full-blown relationship, including redesigning our website. The team has also worked closely with us to solve DNS issues and ensure everything is transitioning well.

Regarding the process, I’ve been directly involved with Blake (Founder & COO). He has reached out to me to let us know what we need for the project, and we’ve created a schedule. Blake has also helped us predict our DNS and migration needs with the domain to ensure the platform’s security. We’ve also coordinated with them for each task from both ends.

In terms of technologies, the team has used WordPress, a DNS hosting platform, Cloudflare, and a WAF. In addition, outside the scope of their work, there is an AI-based spam and content protection security system. That system has been triggered because we’ve also worked closely with them to ensure that the component of communication via email is working properly.

Currently, we’re also planning to go through a different new project with them for branding, involving content creation and design efforts.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We really like Storm Brain's website design work, which has come up smoothly and with no issues, so I'm very impressed. Regarding metrics, the project is still fresh since it usually takes 6–8 months to see real results. Still, we've noticed that our website is performing better and loading faster according to Google's score, which helps a lot with SEO because the slower the site, the slower Google's response is to take the site to the top of the list.

In terms of quality, Storm Brain's work has been very high-end and professional. Their deliverables are one of those things that amaze me and that I usually don't see for this type of service. In general, Storm Brain's design, creativity, and work quality are at a different level, a few steps beyond anyone else.

How did Storm Brain perform from a project management standpoint?

Storm Brain has completely delivered on time and within budget without surprises. Regarding tools and communication, we use email, phone calls, and text messages.

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review? 

Blake is an awesome guy who is very professional, always on time and to the point, and attends to our needs immediately. Whenever we get stuck, he replies within an hour or less. 

In addition, Blake always knows what he's talking about because he's been doing this for a long time, so he's really good. Overall, it's been a pleasure working with someone as professional as him, who pushes the project forward to finish it in a couple of weeks, which is impressive.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Storm Brain's follow-up and responsiveness to our questions or requests have impressed me the most about their work. There's no drama and no fuss; they get the job done and do it usually in half a day, which is amazing. Kudos to the team for killing it.

Be responsive, on top of things, set expectations from the beginning, and be open to their suggestions. They're very creative and have a professional team that might come up with something that wasn't even on your radar.

We use Storm Brain on a daily basis for external marketing and website management. Their regular tasks include updating our website and helping us with client communications via email.

What is the team composition?

Patrick (Digital Marketing Account Manager) is our main point of contact from Storm Brain, and we also work with Leah (CEO). I know that they also have a team behind them, but our main persons of contact are Patrick & Leah.

How did you come to work with Storm Brain?

The amount of time we’ve been working with Storm Brain exceeds the time I’ve been with the bank. When I started working here, I started working with Storm Brain immediately. Still, they’ve been wonderful from the beginning. Although I don’t know how we originally found them, I know that everyone who has worked with them has had a wonderful experience.

What is the status of this engagement?

I started working with them in Summer 2022, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The quality of Storm Brain’s work is top tier. Everything they’ve delivered looks clean and on-brand, as they’ve always ensured to keep assets consistent.

Storm Brain has done a great job making our website look luxurious, clean, consistent, and easy to follow. Our website is very beautiful, and everyone who has seen it has provided us with the same feedback.

Beyond the quality of their work, Storm Brain’s customer service is excellent. Their range of tasks is always changing, but they’ve been very dynamic in their roles, providing us with a range of options to accommodate our needs.

How did Storm Brain perform from a project management standpoint?

Storm Brain has excellent communication skills, and they treat everything as a top priority, so we never have to wait around for our content. Overall, they’re very efficient, have quick turnaround times, and always want to ensure we have everything we need from them.

Storm Brain always sends us a weekly report on the projects we have open with them, detailing which ones we need to close. Even when the deadlines are very tight, they always accommodate our needs.

Moreover, They’re on top of everything at all times. We’ve never experienced delays, as their team always stays very organized with the projects and workflows to avoid things slipping through the cracks.

When we create new marketing pieces, we sometimes meet with them over Zoom. Still, we also communicate via email so that we can send things on our time and they can get back to us as soon as they can; they’re very quick to respond to our requests.

In addition to that, having a single point of contact with Storm Brain has been great. Not talking to a new person every week has made us very consistent and efficient, allowing us to develop a relationship with our main contact point.

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

I would like to give a shout-out to both Patrick and Leah, who are awesome. Both have been our go-to people when we need anything.

What did you find most impressive about them?

On top of their high-quality outputs, their beautiful digital art, and their excellent customer service, Storm Brain bends over backward to ensure our deadlines are met and we have what we need, even if that means sacrificing their own time.

Their team always ensures to accommodate our requests and is quick to respond, so they never leave us hanging. Moreover, they’re great team players, ensuring that we always finish on top. It takes a full group effort to ensure that we’re constantly successful in project completion and execution.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s nothing Storm Brain could do differently. They’re very efficient, so I don’t see any areas of improvement.

Keep an open conversation and don’t be afraid to reach out and ask questions. They’ll always get back to you quickly. Don’t be shy to schedule a Zoom call if you need clarification, and simply keep the clear communication going.
