What was the scope of their involvement?

Initially, Stealth Technocrats created a prototype of the app and shared it with us. Then, we discussed the prototype internally and provided them with our feedback and the necessary changes. They then created a second prototype with the required changes, which we approved. After the prototyping stage of the project was completed, we then went into the development stage, which was divided into three phases.

In phase one, Stealth Technocrats designed the system’s complete UI/UX. In phase two, they developed the system’s backend, and in phase three, they integrated the entire app. Then, they helped us conduct a beta testing process with our clients. Now, Stealth Technocrats is managing the app. It works both on mobile devices and desktops.

Initially, we coordinate with the project manager. We have words with the project manager but with the time we get to know there have 2 frontend developers, 3 backend developers, and Quality analyst, both handle the whole project and Update me on time.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Within 4 months after our new app was launched, we saw over a lot of downloads in-app store. the design of this app makes it more accessible on the app, and we have received more inquires in a few months. We continue to hear positive feedback on the usability flow and look of the app both from existing and potential customers.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The project manager that we were assigned was easy to communicate with and provided us frequent updates. We connected over the Phone and used Skype for other communication. Overall, I was impressed by the timelines of the team.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

In starting, I was not that much aware of the working of the company on mobile app development, User experience, and optimization. With time we learned much more than we thought possible and we appreciated that they were patient and thoughtful while we came up to speed. We also worked with other companies but with Stealth this was a positive experience. I will engage with this company again for any mobile app needs that we have in the future.

Stealth Technocrats has been really good at delivering on time every task allocated by the CTO. One thing that I really like about them is that they are fully committed to the project. There have been times when we’ve had to call them outside of business hours or on weekends, and they’ve always been available, which is one of the reasons why we’ve always worked with them. From our standpoint, they qualify as a really reliable outsourced development partner.

We have been the ones overseeing project management while their team is the one developing and delivering the work on time. We mostly reach out to each other through Skype, Google Meet, emails, and voice calls.

We were trying to address a knowledge gap. Stealth Technocrats had the skill base that I was missing from my team.

What was the scope of their involvement?

So the range of services Stealth Technocrats provides us is basically either consultation on codebases like C# and JavaScript, or staff augmentation. They provide us with forward-deployed engineers from their team to our team, to build various functions and plugins that we require. 

They recently built us a mentions plugin, where users are able to tag individuals within an application. They’ve improved upon the existing plugin that we built, and made it better and more efficient. They’ll be maintaining and improving future developments of plugins for us. Their team members are already integrated into my team, so I don’t see us terminating this relationship any time in the near, medium, or long term.

What is the team composition?

My main point of contact is Gaurav (CEO & Founder). They also have a team of three that they provide us. We use one full-time, and the other two are part-timers — all of them work remotely.

How did you come to work with Stealth Technocrats?

We’re a UK-based firm so we get a lot of third-party development support companies from abroad. I generally ignore all of them, but I think I found Stealth Technocrats via Upwork 3–4 years ago where I got them to do a firebase integration with Google Firebase. We were testing out some database functionalities, but we didn’t go ahead with that project and stopped working on it — but we still stayed in touch.

As I grew my company, I decided to revert back to them and asked if they can help me. We had an open discussion where they could fit in and we started from there.

We came up with a task management system, so we assign tasks for every team member both internally and externally. Jony (Team Lead Web Development) has been performing and communicating well. He’s been updating our task system, putting up videos, and keeping us in the loop.

We generally monitor that way so if they don’t communicate or give us updates, that’s a red flag for us. However, Guarav’s team has been really on the ball, even pushing my team members for additional information on the next steps — I’m quite happy with that.

How did Stealth Technocrats perform from a project management standpoint?

Every Monday, we’ll have a morning meeting with myself and their team. As of recently, I got one of my team leaders to take over the role of leading the entire plugin team. Jony’s part of that, so we’ll be coordinating with him via our project management board or WhatsApp group. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re impressed by their wide range of skills and their deep awareness of various tech stacks. They fill in a lot of gaps where a full-time developer is needed, but I can take a part-time developer from Guarav’s team whenever I need — and that’s a real advantage.

In terms of certain areas of skills, maybe they can improve on blockchain. I know they’ve explored blockchain before, and we’ve yet to get into that. Generally, I’m quite happy with the team and the engagement.
