Since the start of our partnership in April 2024, the 44pixels team has expanded significantly, enabling faster delivery and stronger execution across product, design, and QA.

We’ve hired 4 senior-level engineers, 1 Visual Designer, and 1 Lead Manual QA. This setup allowed us to strengthen core development, introduce structured testing, and elevate the design quality of our products.

44pixels is a mobile app studio focused on building AI-powered applications with thoughtful design and seamless user experience. We combine engineering expertise and creative direction to deliver polished, engaging mobile products that leverage AI technologies.

The team is continuing to grow: we are currently hiring for 3 new roles - a React Native Developer, a Marketing Artist, and a Technical Designer - to support new product streams and scale faster.

With the recent team growth, we have been able to enhance our development capabilities and continue working on new solutions. The team continues to grow with OTS, allowing us to take on more development tasks and improve our processes.

The project is still ongoing – as a growing startup, we are continuously expanding the team, advancing our product portfolio, and unlocking new verticals. OTS has been a great business partner, allowing us to expand the team efficiently across varying areas of expertise: engineering, design, QA, creative production, and so on. Their candidate selection process is extremely efficient, and, what’s even more important, very customisable, meaning we only spend our time interviewing relevant candidates that have been carefully preselected according to all our specific requirements.

We do project management in-house, so not directly related to our OTS relationship. As far as their responsibilities are concerned, they have always been very sharp, provided great feedback, proactively requested missing information, and so on. The support they provide for the team is also perfect: we spend 0 time thinking about payrolls, hardware, and all other nuances. Shall we require a corporate event, a visa, and travel support, or any other bespoke ask, OTS is there to help, which is very convenient and saves us a lot of time.

Our collaboration with On The Spot began in 2019 with a team of just two talented front-end developers, focused on building intuitive and responsive user interfaces. As the partnership evolved and our needs grew, we expanded the team to include backend developers, enabling us to scale our platform capabilities and improve system performance. We extended the team recently by bringing on Linux and eBPF specialists, who have since played a crucial role in expanding our product offering. By 2021, the team had grown to 22 members, and today, it boasts over 55 skilled professionals across multiple disciplines. This partnership continues to scale dynamically, reflecting both our shared success and the increasing demand for robust, high-performance software solutions.

Since June 2024, we have partnered with OTS to help us expand our technical team. So far, we have 4 highly skilled engineers through this collaboration, and we are currently continuing to grow the team with additional roles in progress.

We engaged OTS to support the development of our MVP, including the initial proof of concept, for a B2B SaaS platform. Their scope of work included early-stage technical consulting, advising on the most appropriate technology stack to ensure the application was secure, scalable, and fit for purpose. OTS provided both backend and frontend developers who worked collaboratively with our founding team to transform our functional requirements into a working software product. Key deliverables included a proof of concept to demonstrate core functionality, followed by the design and development of a production-ready MVP. This process involved iterative prototyping, UI/UX design, API integration, and deployment to a secure cloud environment. OTS supported us through the full product development lifecycle—from technical discovery and system architecture through to implementation and user testing—ensuring we were able to bring a stable and well-structured MVP to our early users.
