I’m the VP and co-owner of Olson’s Sewer and Excavating Service. We provide sewer system maintenance, repairs, installation, and excavating services for residential, municipal, and commercial clients in Minnesota, emphasizing one-stop solutions and quality service.

We needed help with our phone system setup and IT services.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Seven Star Systems has completed our phone system setup and implemented increased security systems. The team also provides a prompt and thorough response to any IT system questions. Moreover, Seven Star Systems has improved our software use rates and is assisting in the software transition from our current proprietary software to a field services software. The team has evaluated our current systems, created a detailed inventory of our software structure, and communicated with an additional software vendor. Additionally, Seven Star Systems has simplified our security systems and improved our use for outbound inquiries.

We’ve worked with one teammate from Seven Star Systems.

How did you come to work with Seven Star Systems?

We found Seven Star Systems through a referral. The owner saved us during a nightmare of a new phone system setup, and we learned how much more service we should have been receiving from our IT provider at the time. Therefore, we switched to Seven Star Systems as quickly as possible.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Seven Star Systems in October 2025, and our engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve successfully used our phone system and have no security worries. Moreover, we’re moving forward with systems improvement for field management. We’ve also decreased our expenses for IT support due to proactive measures in place and planned for the future. Additionally, we’ve eliminated duplicity in expenses for software vendor services.

How did Seven Star Systems perform from a project management standpoint?

Seven Star Systems’ timeliness has exceeded our expectations. We communicate via email and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Seven Star Systems has all bases covered. The team offers low pricing and has no long-term restrictive contracts. Moreover, I’m impressed with Seven Star Systems’ honesty, proactive measures, and availability to implement them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t think there’s anything they can improve on. Their work has exceeded our expectations.

Moving my email, website, and Google Drive systems over was seamless—far better than I expected. What really stands out is their support.
