What challenge were you trying to address with scandiweb?

We needed help creating an AI-based chatbot to gather our customers' needs and support our sales department in their daily tasks.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Scandiweb has mainly created two frontend React applications (partly including design mockups): a messenger where users can chat with the AI chatbot and an expert frontend where sales can match products to the customer needs gathered through the chatbot messenger. The team has also provided project and backlog management to keep everything on track.

We started working with them in August 2024, and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve recently had our go-live, and we’re tracking the logins, page impressions, the amount of chats in the messenger, the count of documents created from the chats and worked on in the expert frontend, the amount of online offers that are the outcome of the work in the expert frontend, and the revenue created when a customer orders an online offer. We’ve also received feedback that this new way could be superior to the plain online shopping experience.

Our company called on Scandiweb to migrate to Magento 2 and settle all the technical debt accumulated over the years. They also suggested we switch to Hyva and carried out the migration. They continue to optimize and stabilize our system every day.

Our e-commerce site, which was very unstable, is now much more efficient. The technical debt is now almost entirely behind us, the site is improving and we can look forward to new functionalities.

Project management is rigorous and precise. This doesn't mean there can't be unforeseen IT glitches and delays, but quality and safety never take second place to meeting deadlines, and that's what matters most in the end.
