The team had a global, but well-aligned strategy. Strong ownership and quick response rate. Very high adaptability and pro-active approach. We were impressed how they drive issues that occurred with surrounding system that they were not directly responsible for yet still took full ownership to resolve the obstacles.

The transitions between different phases, i.e. from discovery to the project as well as afterwards from the project delivery to the support function has had some knowledge gaps and upstart challenges. It all worked out fine but this is certainly a part that could be smoother.

Our collaboration started in 2021 in times of a pandemic and all communication was digital. We had never had an in-person meeting until recently. It is important for us that vendors understand our business and people and in-person meetings can improve that bond even further.

We already see much better support for Magento and more tasks are delivered than in the past. Developing is done by the book with keeping notes and preparing documentation for everything. Self-engagement by the Scandiweb team to improve the platform. From SEO perspective we already see improvement in the ratings and visibility.

Everything is done upon the agreement, and things move forward as we agree. So if we plan to have some feature ready for testing in a week it will be ready sometimes earlier, but not later. When it comes to deployment on production, they take it very seriously and doing it carefully, even if the deployment practice is established. All tasks are taken on time without delays.

We had just launched a new CMS and E-commerce site, and quickly realized the partners we were previously with did not leave us in a good position to maintain or grow this digital strategy.

This is when we sought after a partner which had experience working with B2B companies, and can help us clearly identify growth opportunities related to the e-commerce side, as well as enhance the features and design of the overall website presentation.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We worked with Scandiweb briefly in the past as they were being subcontracted from another local vendor of ours. After my interaction with some of their staff on that project, I was extremely impressed with their level of professionalism, and knowledge base. The quality of work they performed was clear and made me feel very trusting in them for a future partnership.

We started with a discovery phase, where we outlined what our business truly does and what our main goals are. Scandiweb's team analyzed our needs and made recommendation on specific enhancements which would drive more traffic and positive results to our e-commerce site.

We have had Scandiweb support us with all our develpment and QA, this year, an upgrade to Magento 2.4.3 Version, and now we have embarked on our newest integration with a PIM system implementation.

We have had a dedicated team of approx. 3-6 depending on the areas of need. For instance they have dedicated SEO and Analytics experts on staff, along with CRO and Design experts, so when it's necessary to pull in the experts, that what we do. The bulk of our day to day relationship is with a Project Manager, and dedicated developers.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We don't have any measurables to share at this time as much of the initial development work was to re-stabilize our environments and fix the errors which caused roadblocks for us and our customers. Since we've started to clear these, we have seen an increase in traffic and orders however, we don't have much to compare it to prior to this.
