I was co-owner and head of digital in european based flower delivery business, mainly operating across Baltics states.

Our business had only physical stores across 3 countries and we hired Scandiweb guys to move us online. We had no in-house team responsible for digital and it was mainly on me :) Main challenge was to adjust all our retail-based processes to work into omnichannel way, and integrating with our legacy ERP system to ensure live stock updates.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We did a tender across 7 agencies and scandiweb provided the most meaningful solutions to our business needs - they provided most of the answers on suggested technological solution even before discovery started.

It all started with discovery process lasting for 1 month to get to know our business and prepare business requirements for our new platform. When technical discovery was ready, we kicked off design phase and visualized all our ideas on paper. In parallel, scandiweb started to work on back end modules integration. When design was ready, we started to see all puzzles together. We worked in agile way, meeting weekly to align on sprint goals and expected deliverables. Our new store is running on Magento 2 Open Source solution and we are happy about it!

During project development it was 3-4 devs, one project manager and on-demand help from SEO and CRO teams. After we went live, we have 1 dedicated developers and PM working with us daily for further enhancements and our phase 2 wishes implementation.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Since we had no e-commerce before - nothing to compare with. In the first month of launch we got hundreds of orders which was very unexpected. Our Conversion Rate is a bit below industry average but we work closely with scandiweb PPC and CRO team to get it up with mainly better marketing campaigns. We are very happy with the results, all process was very smooth and outperformed our expectations.

They follow agile methodology, we had weekly meetings with PM and instant communication with anyone necessary. Communication is transparent and top-notch, with reports provided every week and visibility on what we are paying for.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their knowledge in eCommerce business and especially Magento solution is way above any other company I worked with. Other impressing this is pro-activeness and strategic planning for our account that I have not seen from any other service provider.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We had some communication challenges with our ERP provider, and die to summer period was hard to get everyone aligned since many vacations from every team. But we resolved everything and it was not scandiweb fault as such.

We needed a new websiite and infrastructure in Magento and found Scandiweb as a Magento developer.

We looked at a few web development agencies and compared prices and reviews etc and decided to go with Scandiweb

We have used Scandiweb to work on different projects such as a new Magento website with a lot of back-end integrations. We have also used them for creating a new WordPress site and also a Sales statistic tool.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We have had some projects that have been delayed from our initial timeframe which has been unfortunate for us. After our new site, we have had an increase of enquires and orders. I don't have the actual numbers.

We do all communication in Jira, which works well.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I like our on-demand support agreement with them, which doesn't require a full-time developer.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I think either be more realistic when suggesting a time frame for a project so it can be met or be better to keep deadlines. It is more than once that a date has been communicated and it has been delayed.

Scandiweb has been our partner since Magento 1 days, and they provide good service.

We had a discovery process with Scandiweb as well as we sent them our requirements. From there, they provided us with designs and we reviewed them. Afterwhich, the development works commenced.

A project manager, one dedicated developer, and additional developers and designers if needed.

The Checkout page is now more user friendly and customers like it

We met with the PM twice a week where we discuss issues and the status of deliverables. We also create our roadmap. Jira is used to communicate development updates and emails for other communication needs

Scandiweb.com always provided high-quality services. They were professional and knowledgeable.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We are happy so far with their service and whatever areas for improvement, we communicate with them and they work with us. It is a good partnership between them and us.
