What specific goals or objectives did you hire Probey Services to accomplish?
Our old website was a major source of frustration. It was essentially a digital business card. When we had a new property to list, we would send potential clients a PDF via email, and they had no easy way to visualize the space or understand its potential. Our main goals for Probey were: To create a dynamic, visual property portfolio that would act as a 24/7 showcase for our listings.
We needed a place where high-quality photos, floor plans, and key details could be easily accessed by interested parties. To establish our firm as a trusted advisor by sharing our knowledge of the local commercial real estate market, not just listing properties for sale. To build a simple, behind-the-scenes system for our agents to add and manage property listings without needing technical skills.
We were tired of waiting for our old IT guy to make simple updates, which sometimes took days. To capture serious inquiries from potential buyers or tenants through a structured system, so we could follow up with them properly.

Probey's project management was clear and reliable. They gave us a straightforward timeline at the beginning and stuck to it. Every week, we had a short video call where they showed us their progress and asked for our feedback. They delivered the first design mock-up and the final website right on the dates they promised.
They were always very responsive. I remember one time, just after we launched, we realized we had forgotten to ask for a simple map to be added to each property page showing its location. It was a small thing, but important. I sent a slightly embarrassed email to our project lead.
He wrote back within the hour, saying, "That's a great idea, we should have thought of that ourselves." His team had a simple, elegant map feature added to every single property page within two days. They never made us feel like our requests were a bother.

The most impressive thing was how they took the time to understand our very local business. They asked us about the specific neighbourhoods we work in and the types of clients we serve. They didn't just give us a generic real estate template.
This showed up in a brilliant little feature they suggested. They noticed we often talk about "the feeling" of a neighbourhood. So, they proposed we add a section to each property page called "The Neighbourhood," where we can add a few photos of nearby cafes, parks, and public transport links.
This might seem small, but for a business owner choosing a new location, it's incredibly valuable. It showed us that Probey was thinking about our client's entire experience, not just building a website.
Are there any areas for improvement or something Probey Services could have done differently?
This is a very small thing, but if I had to think of one, it would be the photo gallery. The system they built is great, but we didn't realize at first how important the order of the photos would be. We uploaded a few listings where the best photo was not the first one. It took us a little while to figure out we could drag and drop them to reorder them.
Maybe a one-sentence note during training like, "Remember, you can drag the photos to choose which one appears first!" would have helped. But once we learned, it was easy. It's a tiny point in a project that was otherwise perfect for us.
