I’m a co-owner of a commercial cleaning company based in Melbourne, Australia.

What challenge were you trying to address with Primotech?

We did some market research and found a high scope in one service we didn’t provide. In Australia, it’s mandatory for the person who has leased a property to clean the area once the lease is up. My partner, who is also a marketing expert, recognized the opportunity, so we wanted to target that particular area.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Primotech added two landing pages with a contact form to our existing WordPress website. They did some design work to ensure the landing pages looked exactly like our site. They also did some illustrations.

Additionally, Primotech did some digital marketing; the ad campaigns were purely on Google. The team came up with the creative assets, but my partner did some copy. We gave them the idea of targeting keywords, and they came back with a list for us to select.

What is the team composition?

Our first contact was the owner. After we hired them, they assigned a project manager to us.

How did you come to work with Primotech?

We found them on Upwork. We particularly wanted somebody who had worked with cleaning companies before.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent around $1,800.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started in January 2020. Our engagement lasted until March 2020 because things began to get difficult in Australia due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We started getting leads from the first day when the campaign launched. At first, we’d get 1–2 leads a day, but that eventually increased to 5–6 leads a day, which was the highest.

How did Primotech perform from a project management standpoint?

The project manager scheduled his time according to our needs, so everything went smoothly. We didn’t have problems at all, and all communication was through Upwork.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They knew their way around Google Ads and explained everything clearly. When we had questions, they didn’t answer immediately; instead, they did research and came back to us with actual numbers.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We had a small problem at the beginning with communication, but we told them, and Primotech solved it. In general, there wasn’t anything to improve.

Communication is key. Tell them about your vision, what you want to achieve, and how you’ll determine the project’s success.

We have a complex AWS integration in the back end of our site.

What were your goals for this project?

To redesign our site, and retain the advanced functionality that AWS provides us.

They were recommended to us by another agency that was not able to complete the work.

We had another team start the site, which turned out to be a huge headache. Primotech took over the project and from there it was so much easier to communicate and effectively finish the new site.

They helped immensely with the overall design of the site as well and the complex back end integrations we needed to make the front end function as intended.

What was the team composition?

Because of the complexity of our project, there were numerous members involved. There was a very steady chain of command and at no point did i feel overwhelmed or under-informed by the Primotech team. Everyone was fantastic.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

We were able to maintain the majority of our traffic post launch, and we are showing improvements in the ranking of certain pages. While they did not do any SEO work for us, they made sure our complex functions worked as intended and helped give a stable foundation as well as a polished look to build upon.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

They used basecamp, and it worked as intended. Everyone was great, and due to the nature of the project we did have to alter timelines slightly. With that being said, Primotech really helped expedite the process and made it much smoother pre and post launch.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They have incredible knowledge of the subject matter, and they're willing to explain things in detail. They made it very easy to understand what they would be doing and to find solutions to any issues we discovered along the way

Are there any areas for improvement?

They helped with everything i asked and were incredibly flexible with our particular situation. I can't complain.

The only challenge I had with Primotech was initially there was a learning curve to align our goals with the team. This was quickly resolved through consistent communication and collaborative feedback meetings to ensure everything progressed smoothly.
