NOA is a brand consulting agency that consults mostly with FMCG brands like Coca Cola and others. We are building the brand strategy, and in some cases, we oversee the execution when it comes to the agency to develop campaigns. We also source partners with who we collaborate with them on different things such as design, campaigns, or digital.

What challenge were you trying to address with Presta?

We hired Presta for tasks related to digital execution.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They have done multiple projects with us. Presta is really good at understanding the objectives that we want to reach. It is always before any work is started, and then we go into the brainstorming, mostly with our customers and our team to define the objectives better, and maybe to understand also how digital works better if we plan something that is completely new or innovative, which we do in most cases.

The work that they do can be for an eCommerce website for a fashion company or just an online game, and it can be an app. We also have time-limited apps that we did for some promotions for clients. They are able to offer us services from a UI/UX and art direction from time to time.

When it comes to the execution, of course, they provide everything they can do on the backend and frontend, and then the adaption of all of that in any app for iOS or Android. They can customize anything or build a desktop version of it. I know they are developing in PHP or JavaScript as well as some other languages depending on what they are building.

What is the team composition?

I mostly work with Vladeta (CEO & Founder) and the CTO.

How did you come to work with Presta?

Another agency recommended them to us.

How much have you invested in them?

We spend between $200,000–$300,000 a year.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started with them in the summer of 2015, and the relationship is still ongoing.

We have a request for a new project for a big retail chain in Europe and we are waiting for the client to respond.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

If we had any problems that we shared with them, they always solved it. Our clients are super happy.

How did Presta perform from a project management standpoint?

It was great. They communicate very effectively, and even in the middle of the night they still respond within a couple of hours. Everything works smoothly. We mostly use Slack, where we set up a group for the project or campaign, and we invited them to the Slack group. If clients are also part of the group, we use email to communicate. For one special project, we also used Trello.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They adapt to the circumstances and bring us solutions.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Not now. If they could maybe have a product owner so that we don’t have to outsource, that would be nice, but it isn’t necessary for all the projects.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

If they are looking for a digital execution agency, Presta is the right fit. They don’t have a huge team of 100 people; they are a small team of about 15, and you have to consider the timings that the team can execute these things in.

The projects could be mid-sized and not huge. I would recommend the client always discusses the type of projects with them and the availability of Presta, and whether they are available to execute it in the timeframe and budget the client wants.

To launch a fully functional, responsive, smooth working and easy to use portal which will allow users to make reviews of their experience with FMCG products.

We started with our brief which was made by non-technical persons who are experienced in retail and marketing, but not in IT. Presta helped us draw the precise project model, data flow and user experience walkthrough, which was very helpful. They were in complete charge for web design, web development and also data scraping. Also, they were leading the process of project management.

They helped us launch our service and start monetizing of it

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

I have had an opportunity to work on many projects that involved product and/or service development in my 15 years of experience, and it always gets stuck when team of experts in a field need to take over a big Chunk of the product/service development. In most cases, we get stuck because we don’t know what’s going on behind the walls of experts’ offices.

But that was not the case with Presta! They kept us involved in the whole process, we knew what they were doing and how far they are ahead in the whole process the whole time. That helped us a lot of having trust that everything was in line with our expectations during the project.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Being professional: the workflow we had demonstrated a lot of experience they already had with all subjects. They made us feel like we were in good hands.

For what projects/services did your company hire Presta?

The project was to build a sales funnel (landing pages) and back-end and redo the front-end website, to help generate and funnel leads to the company.

What were your goals for this project?

Building the funnel in a timely manner, bug-free, and being able to handle tens of thousands of leads.

Vladeta & his team were the obvious choice, they were affordable, reliable, professional and very qualified.

They helped design the user experience of the landing pages, front-end site and back-end site, as well as programmed all of it. They fixed any bugs. One of the landing pages was a complex multi-step application form.

What was the team composition?

A UX, a developer and a project manager were involved.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

The company was able to funnel through close to 50,000 qualified leads in a matter of a few months, and the back-end was able to handle that amount of information.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Tasks were organized and managed in Asana.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The quality of their work and the speed of delivery were impressive. Also, how "solid" the end-result was. It worked perfectly.

Not that I can think of. It was a great experience.

Really impressive and responsive. In all these years we never had any issues with Presta.

They consistently impress with their ability to think outside of the box to find creative solutions to problems.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Project management for this project was pretty simple. Presta organized the development tasks into github issues and on google spreadsheets and kept track of the completion status.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their technical knowledge and flexibility in execution stood out. Also, their ability to adapt new tasks and scope, speed, reliability.

Are there any areas for improvement?

They should work on the communication side of things especially on project management and language barriers.
