Introduce your business and what you do there.

NOA is a brand consulting agency that consults mostly with FMCG brands like Coca Cola and others. We are building the brand strategy, and in some cases, we oversee the execution when it comes to the agency to develop campaigns. We also source partners with who we collaborate with them on different things such as design, campaigns, or digital.

What challenge were you trying to address with Presta?

We hired Presta for tasks related to digital execution.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They have done multiple projects with us. Presta is really good at understanding the objectives that we want to reach. It is always before any work is started, and then we go into the brainstorming, mostly with our customers and our team to define the objectives better, and maybe to understand also how digital works better if we plan something that is completely new or innovative, which we do in most cases.

The work that they do can be for an eCommerce website for a fashion company or just an online game, and it can be an app. We also have time-limited apps that we did for some promotions for clients. They are able to offer us services from a UI/UX and art direction from time to time.

When it comes to the execution, of course, they provide everything they can do on the backend and frontend, and then the adaption of all of that in any app for iOS or Android. They can customize anything or build a desktop version of it. I know they are developing in PHP or JavaScript as well as some other languages depending on what they are building.

What is the team composition?

I mostly work with Vladeta (CEO & Founder) and the CTO.

How did you come to work with Presta?

Another agency recommended them to us.

How much have you invested in them?

We spend between $200,000–$300,000 a year.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started with them in the summer of 2015, and the relationship is still ongoing.

We have a request for a new project for a big retail chain in Europe and we are waiting for the client to respond.  

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

If we had any problems that we shared with them, they always solved it. Our clients are super happy.

How did Presta perform from a project management standpoint?

It was great. They communicate very effectively, and even in the middle of the night they still respond within a couple of hours. Everything works smoothly. We mostly use Slack, where we set up a group for the project or campaign, and we invited them to the Slack group. If clients are also part of the group, we use email to communicate. For one special project, we also used Trello.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They adapt to the circumstances and bring us solutions.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Not now. If they could maybe have a product owner so that we don’t have to outsource, that would be nice, but it isn’t necessary for all the projects.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

If they are looking for a digital execution agency, Presta is the right fit. They don’t have a huge team of 100 people; they are a small team of about 15, and you have to consider the timings that the team can execute these things in.

The projects could be mid-sized and not huge. I would recommend the client always discusses the type of projects with them and the availability of Presta, and whether they are available to execute it in the timeframe and budget the client wants.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

I have had an opportunity to work on many projects that involved product and/or service development in my 15 years of experience, and it always gets stuck when team of experts in a field need to take over a big Chunk of the product/service development. In most cases, we get stuck because we don’t know what’s going on behind the walls of experts’ offices.

But that was not the case with Presta! They kept us involved in the whole process, we knew what they were doing and how far they are ahead in the whole process the whole time. That helped us a lot of having trust that everything was in line with our expectations during the project.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Being professional: the workflow we had demonstrated a lot of experience they already had with all subjects. They made us feel like we were in good hands.

Not that I can think of at the moment
