Please describe your company and your position there.

Our company creates blood glucose meters and related products for people with diabetes. In our country, we are the leader among other manufacturers. I am in charge of all communications that take place on behalf of the company.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Nullgravity?

We created a new blood glucose meter that we wanted to bring to the market. To do this, we needed to create a mobile application for users to make the experience of using the product more comprehensive and comfortable.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goal was to release a new blood glucose meter and a mobile app for it and apply for certification.

How did you select Nullgravity?

The Nullgravity company has experience of working with large companies. They have a good understanding of business needs and processes. Besides, they already had experience creating similar software for another healthcare provider.

Describe the project in detail.

The project has been started with a true product approach. The Nullgravity team conducted a series of customer interviews with focus groups. This helped to reveal some weak points of the device. Thereafter, we made the rework of the device. Also with the same focus group, the design team had tested the first versions of the design to improve UX. The development stage went smoothly. As of today, the glucometer and the software are waiting for government certification.

What was the team composition?

The team was fully equipped with a Product Manager, Business Analyst, Art Director, UX/UI Designers, Mobile and Web developers, Quality Assurance Engineers, and the Project Manager. Also, the Product Marketing Manager and an Illustrator were involved part-time.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We were impressed with the approach to product development. The whole team was completely dedicated to the project. The product discovery phase, concept development, and in-depth study of the user experience were performed at the highest level.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The work took place in close collaboration between our teams. The team was always in touch, held stand-ups, and demo of the stages of product development. Despite the fact that we are located in different countries, the team came to us personally to conduct user research and key meetings.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Most impressive is how the Nullgravity team was involved in the process and worked with us to create a quality product for our users.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Nothing comes to mind.

Design and Development for an admin panel. Nullgravity team helped us with building the admin panel for managing users. They have designed thoughtful UX and developed the admin panel module. Also, they have provided us with meaningful product insights.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goal was to release an MVP with all core functionality in a very short term.

How did you select this vendor?

They have vast experience in full-cycle product development and an outstanding UI/UX expertise. Also, the team has experience in developing admin panels for other clients.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

We have started our collaboration with the clarification of requirements and creating the detailed feature list. After precise planning, the Nullgravity team started working on the UX.

The work took place in several stages including prototyping and UX-testing. After approving the UI/UX concept, the team began developing the product by sprints. Weekly synchronization allowed controlling the development process and staying focused.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

We have released the first version of our product with an admin panel in really short terms. Also, the design process and the quality of UX expertise is outstanding.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The workflow was effective. To make the process more efficient, we used Scrum methodology and coordinated our work on daily standups and weekly meetings.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We have managed to build a partnership with the Nullgravity team. They understand not only the user needs but also all pain points of the business and provided us an outstanding service and support.
