 I'm the Information Services Manager for the Cayman Islands Law Courts.

What challenge were you trying to address with Netclues Inc.?

 We used to have a database of judgments as part of our old website. When the old website was decommissioned, the old database was not replaced at the same time as the main website. Users were so upset that an essential service was pulled out without assurance as to when it would be put back up. We hired Netclues Inc. to put this database back online.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

 We provided the business logic, and Netclues Inc. executed it perfectly the way we wanted. Although our specification was to recreate the database the way it used to work, they built it from scratch because they created the codes as the old vendor did not share the codes. These included building queries using simple search, combo, and Boolean techniques, as well as presenting the indexes in a very user-friendly way. Aside from the database itself, Netclues Inc. also built a card payment portal so that users could subscribe to the database and choose from different subscription packages based on their needs. They handled everything from design, development, integration, and ongoing support.

What is the team composition?

Lakul (Delivery Manager) and Gaurang (Developer) were the main points of contact.

How did you come to work with Netclues Inc.?

 Netclues Inc. was well known in the Cayman Islands. We picked them as one of the three vendors we would choose from after they submitted their bids. They were already well-established and proven to deliver projects on time. Many companies used them to build their websites, and quite a good number of them were government agencies. Also, their quoted price was very reasonable for the excellent service we got.

What is the status of this engagement?

 The project started around April 2025. We had a soft launch in September 2025, but the complete rollout was done three weeks later due to issues with the payment portal. The issue was on the payment processor's side, so it was not Netclues Inc.'s fault.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

 Users were very happy that the database was now back online. It worked the same way as before but was now more modern and user-friendly. The searching was very quick and optimized, and the subscription and payment process was very seamless. I got positive comments from users; they messaged me saying how much they loved it. I didn't get a lot of requests for user support other than minor password issues and how to navigate the site.

How did Netclues Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?

 They followed their established system, but there were issues along the way that delayed the planned schedule. Overall, they delivered in a reasonable amount of time. Some issues that caused major delays were also beyond their control, so it was understandable. We communicated via email, WhatsApp, and online meetings via Microsoft Teams.

What did you find most impressive about them?

 They were very receptive to our ideas. They offered their take on any issues but always abided by what we wanted. Netclues Inc. was very quick in resolving all the issues we encountered during the testing phase. I listed all the issues in our change document, and they fixed them on the spot or the latest the following day. I'm a perfectionist, so I must admit that I was one of the reasons why the project dragged beyond schedule. I'm thankful that they put up with my requests for changes, and now we have a perfect system.

Are there any areas they could improve?

 No, they were marvelous. I couldn't think of a better team to work with. If we had another project with this scope, I would gladly hire them again.
