What was the scope of their involvement?

Netclues Inc. helped us revamp our website, which was more than 15 years old. We couldn’t even add a WordPress plugin to it. The team was responsible for upgrading our PHP version, creating a new website that was suitable for everyone to read and understand, and adding a form to generate leads. Netclues Inc. also added a new functionality for live class subscriptions through WooCommerce, integrated a live chat support feature, and created a totally new design for the website. 

The team handled the design, development, plugin setup, and integrations. Netclues Inc. also performed old URL redirection testing and changed the host server.

The scope of work includes the configuration and deployment of systems that enable proactive identification, assessment, monitoring, and reporting of key risks, with a particular focus on regulatory compliance and financial crime prevention.

The engagement covers the integration of sanctions screening tools to screen members against applicable international sanctions lists. This includes the establishment escalation workflows, and audit trails to support effective monitoring, investigation, and regulatory reporting. Netclues Inc. also provides system customization to align with the Credit Union’s risk appetite, policies, and regulatory obligations.

Additionally, the scope includes system testing, documentation, and ongoing technical support to ensure the solutions operate effectively, remain compliant with evolving regulations, and are fully embedded into day-to-day operations.

The project resulted in improved sanctions screening with automated screening of all new members and faster detection and escalation of potential matches through system-generated alerts, enhanced ERM reporting and dashboards for better management oversight, increased efficiency through reduced manual compliance processes, and stronger audit and regulatory readiness supported by clear audit trails and documented controls.

 I'm the Information Services Manager for the Cayman Islands Law Courts.

What challenge were you trying to address with Netclues Inc.?

 We used to have a database of judgments as part of our old website. When the old website was decommissioned, the old database was not replaced at the same time as the main website. Users were so upset that an essential service was pulled out without assurance as to when it would be put back up. We hired Netclues Inc. to put this database back online.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

 We provided the business logic, and Netclues Inc. executed it perfectly the way we wanted. Although our specification was to recreate the database the way it used to work, they built it from scratch because they created the codes as the old vendor did not share the codes. These included building queries using simple search, combo, and Boolean techniques, as well as presenting the indexes in a very user-friendly way. Aside from the database itself, Netclues Inc. also built a card payment portal so that users could subscribe to the database and choose from different subscription packages based on their needs. They handled everything from design, development, integration, and ongoing support.

Lakul (Delivery Manager) and Gaurang (Developer) were the main points of contact.

How did you come to work with Netclues Inc.?

 Netclues Inc. was well known in the Cayman Islands. We picked them as one of the three vendors we would choose from after they submitted their bids. They were already well-established and proven to deliver projects on time. Many companies used them to build their websites, and quite a good number of them were government agencies. Also, their quoted price was very reasonable for the excellent service we got.

What is the status of this engagement?

 The project started around April 2025. We had a soft launch in September 2025, but the complete rollout was done three weeks later due to issues with the payment portal. The issue was on the payment processor's side, so it was not Netclues Inc.'s fault.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

 Users were very happy that the database was now back online. It worked the same way as before but was now more modern and user-friendly. The searching was very quick and optimized, and the subscription and payment process was very seamless. I got positive comments from users; they messaged me saying how much they loved it. I didn't get a lot of requests for user support other than minor password issues and how to navigate the site.

How did Netclues Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?

 They followed their established system, but there were issues along the way that delayed the planned schedule. Overall, they delivered in a reasonable amount of time. Some issues that caused major delays were also beyond their control, so it was understandable. We communicated via email, WhatsApp, and online meetings via Microsoft Teams.

What did you find most impressive about them?

 They were very receptive to our ideas. They offered their take on any issues but always abided by what we wanted. Netclues Inc. was very quick in resolving all the issues we encountered during the testing phase. I listed all the issues in our change document, and they fixed them on the spot or the latest the following day. I'm a perfectionist, so I must admit that I was one of the reasons why the project dragged beyond schedule. I'm thankful that they put up with my requests for changes, and now we have a perfect system.

Are there any areas they could improve?

 No, they were marvelous. I couldn't think of a better team to work with. If we had another project with this scope, I would gladly hire them again.

I don´t have exactly numbers here, but lets say that 95% of the deliaverables were perfect, just some few times we found small bugs, but having in context how the project itself was, I consider they did an amazing job.

The Account Manager and the Senior Developer in charge has an excelent level of seniority on their domains, having everything under control on their side. 
One thing  I would want to highlit is the fact the entire team is very polite. The comunication is easy with them. They put effort into trying to provide the best service in an organic way. They are good on tecnicall skils and also on soft skills.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Netclues Inc. could have done differently?

In some occasions, when new releases were made on that WordPress project mentioned before, the translations made on the WPML plugin were lost. It happened more than once and to have it under control on future releases is important. It was also reported directed to them, but, as I said, that specific project was complicated and I can not blame then by some mistakes like that. When putting in a balance everything they did for us, this kind of problems is not relevent enought for considering important.

When juggling multiple priorities (like launching a new brand, integrating third-party tools, and meeting compliance standards), having more formalized project tracking — such as shared timelines, live task boards, or centralized change logs — could reduce the back-and-forth and keep everything 100% transparent across teams.

That said, whenever we flagged something, Netclues listened and adapted quickly, which is a major strength in itself. They've already improved significantly in this area in recent years, especially as their team and international presence have grown.
