I selected them and then reselected them over and over and over again for many reasons. First, their work is EXCELLENT and I've used a LOT of different developers over the years.

Secondly, I think of them like my own personal IT staff because they always available.

Thirdly, they're very easy to communicate with, they're responsive and their work is...fast. They meet deadlines. I'm constantly impressed as well at the breadth of their services,..everything from design to custom programming.

I don't really want to describe in too much detail because Narola is one of my secret weapons. The work has included consulting me on best website themes, appearance, functionality, developement and custom php programming on multiple projects.

Often times I am combining their design w my company's ability to reimagine a website, re-write the marketing copy and maybe integrate the best parts of several competitors. I can not give measurable feedback, but the work which is delivered blows the customer away v

They adopt my style. We simple chat on Google Hangouts. I ask, they respond, they do they work and the next day send a list of what was done, asking me to look.

Competence, communication, speed, ease to work with.

Nothing. Im hesitant to give a review in fact as I want then always availble to me. They are my IT staff or at least this is how I think of them. They're my programming team for years and will continue to be.

Exceptional satisfaction. The software is what was expected and more.

Exceptional is the best word here. I have worked with many software developers over the past 40 years and that included only a few that were exceptional in communicating and being honest. Narola Infotech Solutions LLP was exceptional.

I honestly have no suggestions for improvement. I continue to work with Narola and intend to continue doing that after 2 years of great experience with them.

We needed an app for both iPhone and Androids. To be deployed internally, to our employees. Which would lead them through important data to log. At the completion of the project, the data would be assembled by the app into a PDF report for management, customers and govt agencies.

I remember working directly with 2 developers/project managers. Possibly others covering, when my main contacts were unavailable.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The deliverable... phone app... has been greatly praised within our company. It saves us hours of office work. And allows us to generate the needed reports directly and immediately from the field. All of our employees and the owner of the company love it. It works great and is exactly what we had hoped for. Simple efficient, user friendly, time saving.

We communicated through the Freelancer chat feature. Communication was always very quick and detailed. We would share screenshots during the debugging process. As well as graphics showing what output was required. The developer also assisted us in deploying the app, since we are very new to this and inexperienced.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was impressed with all aspects of this company. Communication was SO fast and efficient. Corrections or additions to the app were much faster than I would have expected. All done at predetermined and transparent pricing.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I wouldn't change anything. Great company. we will use them in the future as we continue to add modules and features to the app.

I’m the owner of Lower Cost Calls, and we make it possible for inmates to call home cheaply through VoIP technology.

What challenge were you trying to address with Narola Infotech Solutions LLP?

First off, I had a really nice website and building platform, but I needed to connect my order forms. I then hired this company here in the US to connect my order forms to the building platform. They charged me $400–$500 for the task and it took them forever to do so. I got unbelievably slow-walked and I can’t even remember how long it dragged out.

All that company did was connect the order forms to the website building platform and nothing else. I needed someone to fix and automate what the previous company had left behind.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Narola automated every aspect of my website. From changing phone numbers, calling destinations, and calling plans amongst everything — including the backend to make everything work. The technologies used in the development of this website are WordPress and Drupal.

Narola is also responsible for scraping data and information from jail websites. Using Ruby on Rails, they can identify which inmate has been in jail for at least 14 days, but not longer than 21 days. We acquire this information with the names and addresses, and we mail it out every Monday. This feature is separate from our website, and we call it the mailing list dashboard.

They’re currently working on something right now where if a person refers someone to our service, they get a $15 credit applied to their account. It could also be applied to the new person’s account, or they can choose to have $10 cash sent to them by PayPal.

From the initial engagement to today, a total of four different people have been working on this project.

How did you come to work with Narola Infotech Solutions LLP?

With all the back and forths through email with the previous company I’ve worked with, they messed up and let Narola’s emails slip through. It turns out they had subbed the work out to Narola. As soon as my deal with these people here was done, I contacted Narola and I haven’t looked back since.

At first, I was a bit leery not because they were overseas, but also because I was also fresh to the internet. Narola is in India, and my building platform is in Ukraine, how can you throttle people if they’re not in your own town? What do you do if they don’t do the job right? Nevertheless, it’s been remarkable how I’ve had no problems with anything. It’s all working out like it’s supposed to.

We’ve invested probably just under $15,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our ongoing partnership started in March 2019.

I can’t talk about metrics, because we haven’t opened up the floodgates yet. We haven’t gone full-throttle on the marketing, which is something that we’re actually working on right now.

However, we get good traffic and a steady client base which we’re building upon. Right now, we’re at 250 customers that keep the lights on and allow us to pay the bills.

They perform awesomely. If I send them something today, it’s done by the next day. The communication has also been excellent. I always get emails providing me with updates on the project. Typically, we communicate through emails, phones, chat, and video calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

What distinguishes Narola from other companies, is their professionalism. When I first started with them, these guys were so cool and trustworthy. I would submit my requirements to them, they’d look at it, and it was formal — it hasn’t been that way for a long time. When I need something done, I lay it all out, and they just do it.

They’re pretty damn professional. They’re on their game, on top of things, always prompt, and they don’t leave you in the dark. The company that slow-walked me charged $135 an hour, while Narola only costs us $15 an hour. That’s like having a super-smart IT employee that’s just down the hall.

My website wouldn’t be what it is if it wasn’t for them — everything I thought of, they made it happen. If you went to our website, you can see that they’ve done an awesome job. 

I can’t say enough about them. They’re reliable, communicative, and everything I have on my website, is what I envisioned. I’ve never given anybody such a glowing review but these guys are awesome.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t really know because they’re doing a great job. Perhaps they could suggest things more since they’re more exposed to technology and different ways of doing things. However, it’s not their responsibility since this is my business, and I only hired them to do what I ask for. It would be greatly appreciated, but that’s not on them.

My advice would just be to hire them. In this other review I did for them, I told people that if they have any doubts, just look at my website. They put everything I wanted on there.

We have more than 5000 downloads and more than 1500 active users.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The communication with Narola team was excellent. Even in times when an urgent feature was added to the workload. We used Asana to help us with the workflow. The team leader of the every team was there in case we needed a call and not once they have delayed to respond.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They were dedicated to the goals and always tried to meet the deadlines. Also any problems that might occur they had surpassed them.

We're trying to take the stress out of the bidding process for agents and buyers, simplifying the complexities that come along with the selling process. We needed help doing this, so we got in touch with Narola. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Narola works on building our platform, where users should be able to search for properties. The platform should have a bidding page, a user registration form, and a login form. Its control panel should have features such as property management, buyer management, and property listings. 

The platform is coded in PHP, and they use MySQL for the database. They code the frontend using AngularJS, and they use Bootstrap for some of the codes. The framework used is CodeIgniter.

What is the team composition?

We work with Mohammed (Business Development Manager) and Shivlal (Assistant Team Leader). 

How did you come to work with Narola Infotech Solutions LLP?

Initially, we had a 60-page specification document listing what we want to be included in the bidding platform. I sent this document to Narola, and they gave me a quote for each of the features we listed. There was great communication, and their quote was laid out perfectly and clearly for me to understand. 

I looked into eight other companies, but I chose Narola because they gave me tips even before I hired them. They told us what would work better for the platform and what wouldn’t work well. Other companies just held back, whereas Narola broke down each feature and told us how much time and money each of them would cost. That was good because we didn’t have a great IT background in the company. As a result, we hired them.

We’ve spent between $10,000–$20,000 so far. 

What is the status of this engagement?

The project started in August 2019, and it’s ongoing.

The platform is still in beta, but we should be releasing it soon. Looking at statistics, around 215 properties have been listed on it. There are around 1,400 bids on homes, and around 1,950 people are registered on the platform.

Narola’s project management is excellent. They’re highly responsive and transparent. If I need anything, I can just chat with them on Skype. Then, they’ll tell me exactly when they’ll do that for me. They have a great service. When hiring companies outside of the country, it’s a big concern when they speak a different language. However, Narola has brilliant communication skills. Everything is so clear with them. 

We can also tell that they have a team working in the background. They have a QA team that tests out the platform’s features even though we’re not necessarily paying for that. They’re all working together even when we’re paying only for the developers. I’ve never had any issues with them about anything. If there’s ever a bug, they fix it right away and won’t even charge me for it.

Their attention to detail and excellent customer service distinguish them from other providers.

No, there aren’t. I can’t think of anything right now.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Narola Infotech Solutions LLP developed the web and iOS versions of our platform as well as its backend. The web version has added functionalities, including detailed product overviews. The mobile version allows users to choose product categories and brands and swipe across products.

We did most of the design with another partner, but we got a lot of help from Narola when it came to fixing last-minute things.

The backend was done in CodeIgniter PHP, with a MySQL database. The iOS app was done in Swift. We’ll develop an Android version in time.

We work with two members of Narola Infotech Solutions LLP's team. One of them is in charge of billing and financials, one is in charge of the mobile app, and we have one for the web part. They’re working interconnectedly, so it’s quite easy for us.

Our engagement began in February 2018. The mobile app took about half a year to develop, and development was delayed from our side. We had some funding problems and also needed to figure out the functionalities of the app. The collaboration is ongoing.

They’ve kept the same team working with us, despite us pausing the project when we ran out of money. We never paid anything extra for restarting the project. We had a pause of about half a year, and it was really easy to continue the project after that.

Narola Infotech Solutions LLP is fast, they respond within an hour when I write them within working hours.They always meet deadlines. It hasn’t been a problem. We delayed the project because we had to find the funding.

We communicate through Skype, and we share documents through email and Google Drive.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We told them that we didn’t have that much funding and asked for a better rate, and they accommodated us without turning us over to junior programmers. We went to them for the development of the entire technology, end to end.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Narola Infotech Solutions LLP developed an app for iOS and Android, along with a CMS connected with different backend services. Hosting was done on AWS, there is an SQL database, and backend coding was done in PHP.

The apps were developed natively, with Swift for iOS and Java for Android. Geolocation is the fundamental functionality of the platform, used to connect people with nearby businesses. We have an API integration with Google Places.

There’s a feature for adding favorites and managing profiles. Users can register and log in with Facebook, LinkedIn, and Google. There’s a push notifications feature for new offers and ones that are soon to expire.

Users can submit reports, which are directed to the administrators over email. There are all kinds of analytics collected on user interactions to identify what the most commonly-used pages are and what the overall navigation experience is.

There’s a map view and list view. The Android version is connected to Google Maps, and the iOS one is connected to Apple Maps.

What is the team composition?

The engagement manager was my primary point of contact for identifying the scope and going through the requirements. We had a lead for all backend development (including the CMS backend) with two developers under him.

There was a lead for application development which was my one point of contact for that part. I believe that he had three people under him, managing different development aspects.

How did you come to work with Narola Infotech Solutions LLP?

I created a listing on Upwork, specifying the basic features I was looking to build. I received several applicants, and I interviewed 7–8 of them, together with the technical lead on my team.

We did our due diligence, explaining what we were after and asking for proposals and feedback. We evaluated their speed of response and understanding of the technical elements.

Our requirements were a bit high-level in the beginning, and we needed to detail them out. We weren’t sure which database to use, for example, and we were asking those questions.

Their team not only understood what we were looking for, but they recommend easier options for making our technology go live and scaling it. They were the only company that made us feel in safe hands.

We started with the iOS app and the basic backend. They were new to us, and we didn’t want to sign off on the whole scope.

We started working with them in September or October 2017, and the first beta was delivered to us in December of that year. We’ve had a number of iterations subsequent to that.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The app received a rating of 4.8 on the Apple Store with over 100 reviews. We got just under a perfect 5 on the Android side.

The results of our testing suggested that the items that needed to be reworked amounted to around 5% of the overall requirements, so they were 95% accurate in meeting our requirements.

The team gave us daily updates on the completed, ongoing, and pending tasks with links to the beta versions to be tested. We received detailed requirements, which their team updated as we went on.

The project management was absolutely phenomenal. They were exceptionally good at meeting deadlines, and we were notified ahead of time if there was a feature deviation that could impact the deadlines. They were very good at estimating the hours needed for specific tasks and complexities.

I’m a project manager myself, and I’ve used Microsoft Project 2013 to manage the timelines. They had a long list of milestones on which they gave me regular updates.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The team at Narola Infotech Solutions LLP is knowledgeable, transparent, and reachable. I always felt that my work was genuinely important to them.

They saw the bigger picture and realized that my success was their success. The more I succeeded, the more they would continue to be my sole development team.

Their team took ownership of the project, giving me an amazing customer experience. When they lacked the technical know-how, they were transparent. The features were thoroughly estimated, specifying the downstream impact of each one, if I was to go down that route.

I was given very good information to make decisions right on the sport. I was able to ask for meetings if something was unclear. If they didn’t have the answer on the spot, I’d get it by the end of the day.

We have a web-based portal for our subscribers to use for account, plan, quota, ticket management but this is one phase of our needs. We wanted to compliment this service with a mobile app to facilitate access, customer reachable and support as well as provide other services like notifications, ads and many other services.

We are now planning to work on a more complex project with Narola which has to do with eSIM integration.

Well, many aspects were part of filtering process for us to pick Narola. First, they were among the first interested companies in our project. The response time and professionality in providing the solution and proposal were impressive. Needless to say, pricing is very lucrative in comparison with others.

We had a kick meeting discussing the scope of work, and initial app design and required functions, platforms we would like to publish our app on. After few days we made couple of meetings discussing further requirements, modifications, designs until we settled on the final requirements and started phase one of the project which is delivering the basic functionality of the app which was delivered within the next 3-4 weeks.

Phase II of the app was delivered in a couple of weeks until we finalized project phase III within a 3-4 months totally. Further development, ideas and improvement were happening ever couple of months since then.

The final delivered products were iOS and Android App featuring many functions like ticketing system, notification, quota monitoring, balance and recharging actions, multi-profile management and many others.

Four people from Narola team worked with us directly in this project and other app testers were also involved behind the scenes. Mr. Urvesh the business manager, Harjeet as a developers supervisor and iOS developers, Vasu as a POC and developer, and Suleman as a developer.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We have reduced calls to our customer care drastically in no time as we planned in the first place and Narola team is part of this success definitely.

The PM style was so flexible and well controlled with fruitful outcomes after each meeting. We use Freelancers and other chat apps to discussing daily work progress and fast queries.
