We’ve described the full project in a document and then divided it into singular tasks that we’ve entered into ClickUp. We can track the progress by seeing how many tasks have been completed and how many are still to do or in progress. We measure success by completing the project on time and completing singular tasks with as few adjustments and revisions as possible.

Moreover, we’ve received positive feedback from our client and end users. The end users have also outlined some areas for improvement, but that’s because they don’t know the project’s scope and just want everything to be perfect. We knew from the start that we were going to develop the project in phases, and the first phase was to implement the MVP store on time (before Black Friday), which Mits sp. z o.o. delivered. Since then, we’ve been constantly working on new features and improving the end-user experience, and Mits sp. z o.o. is a solid and aware partner in this.

We needed a completely new e-commerce platform to replace our outdated website. The main goals were building a modern WooCommerce store with a custom theme tailored to our brand, developing advanced price calculators that automatically calculate costs based on material type, dimensions, quantity, and finishing options, creating a user-friendly product ordering process for large-format prints, and integrating the store with our existing logistics and invoicing systems. We also wanted the site to showcase our full product range from banners and stickers to canvas prints, roll-ups, and business cards in a clear, professional way that makes it easy for customers to configure and order online.

Mits sp. z o.o. has built our entire online store from scratch. They’ve designed and developed a fully custom WordPress theme with WooCommerce, tailored specifically to our printing business. The biggest part of the project has been the price calculators, which are quite complex because every product has different parameters like material type, size, quantity, lamination, finishing, and so on. Mits sp. z o.o. has built all of that so the price updates dynamically as the customer configures their order.They’ve also set up the full product catalog with around 17 categories, integrated Google reviews on the homepage, connected our shipping and invoicing systems, and ensured the whole site works well on mobile. The store is fully finished and ready to go live.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Even though we haven't launched yet, we can already see a massive improvement in site performance. The old website was built on a generic theme with tons of plugins stacked on top of each other, which made it slow and hard to manage. The new store is fully custom-built for our specific needs, so it loads much faster, and everything just works smoother.

The new price calculators are a huge step forward, too, because customers can now configure their orders precisely and see the final price instantly, which was not possible before. We also have new features that improve the whole order flow, like better product configuration options and a cleaner checkout process. We expect this will reduce the number of customer inquiries about pricing and speed up order processing significantly once we go live.We don't have real user data yet since the store hasn't launched, but from our internal testing, the page load times went from around 4–5 seconds on the old site down to under 2 seconds on the new one. The old site had over 30 active plugins and a heavy generic theme, while the new one runs on a lightweight custom theme with far fewer plugins because most of the functionality is built in natively.Our team has been testing the ordering process, and the feedback is very positive. The calculators are intuitive, and the whole flow from product configuration to checkout is much cleaner than what we had before.

The old site was a nightmare to manage because of all the plugins conflicting with each other and constant update issues. With the new platform, managing products and pricing is much simpler. The price calculators are built in a way that lets us update material prices globally, so when the cost of vinyl or laminate changes, we adjust it in one place, and it recalculates across all products automatically. Before, we had to manually update prices for each product separately, which was time-consuming and prone to errors. The whole admin panel is cleaner and more organized, so our team spends less time on technical stuff and more time on actual orders.

How did Mits sp. z o.o. perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management has been solid. We have regular communication throughout the project, and they use ClickUp to track all the tasks, so we always know what they're working on and what's coming next. Whenever we have new ideas or changes mid-project, they're open to discussion and give us honest feedback about what makes sense and what doesn't.As for the timeline, there have been some delays, but it's mostly because we keep adding new requirements and changing things on our side. When the scope is clear, they deliver on time. I appreciate that they're always transparent about how long things will take instead of making promises they can't keep.

What did you find most impressive about them?

What impresses me the most is their technical expertise. They don't just do what we ask; they actually understand our business and come up with better solutions than what we originally have in mind. For example, the whole pricing calculator system is quite specific to the printing industry, and they really take the time to understand how our pricing works with all the variables like material costs per square meter, cutting costs per running meter, volume discounts, and so on. Not every dev team would get that right.I also like that they're honest and straightforward in communication. If something is a bad idea, they tell us directly and explain why, which saves us a lot of time and money in the long run.

Are there any areas they could improve?

If I have to point out something, the documentation could be better. When you get a complex custom system like our price calculators, it would be nice to have a more detailed guide on how everything works under the hood, especially for someone less technical on our team.Also, at the beginning of the project, the response times were sometimes a bit longer than expected, but once we established regular communication, it got much better. These are minor things, though; overall, the collaboration has been really good.

We also saw a significant decrease in manual errors thanks to automated processes and a structured data flow. Overall, the application had a direct, positive impact on our daily operations and team productivity.Since implementing the application, our client response time has improved by approximately 25%. We save around two hours per day on administrative tasks that were previously done manually.
