What stood out was that they didn't need hand-holding. We set the technical direction, and they executed against it reliably, raising issues early instead of letting them surface late. That matters a lot when the end client is in a regulated industry and surprises are expensive.

Code quality held up under review, which is not something we can say about every outsourced team we've worked with. They also understood that working on a project for a healthcare client means the bar is different: documentation, testing discipline, and no shortcuts. We didn't have to teach them that.

Nothing major. More proactive written status updates between demos would have been a nice-to-have; we occasionally had to ask rather than being told. Minor point given how responsive they were when asked.

2. AWS Infrastructure: Architected and deployed the backend infrastructure on AWS to support the database, APIs, and associated applications, ensuring scalability and reliability as usage grew. 

3. Google Sheets Add-On: Developed a proprietary Google Sheets add-on that pulls live financial data via API directly into spreadsheets, giving users custom functions to access financial data without leaving their workflow.

• 100% of project milestones met. Every deliverable in the original scope, the financial database, AWS infrastructure, Google Sheets add-on, signup website, and stock valuation platform, was completed and successfully launched.
• All systems live and fully functional. The database, add-on, and both websites are operating in production today, not stalled in development or partially built.
• Active, growing user base. The platform continues to onboard new users, validating both the product and the underlying scoring system.
• Ongoing investment and expansion. Based on the strength of the initial build, we're now developing v2 and v3 of the stock valuation website, expanding functionality well beyond the original scope.
• Long-term partnership. Two years in, the relationship has evolved from a single project into a continuous development partnership, a strong indicator of trust and consistent delivery.

Given the nature of this project, an evolving build instead of a fixed scope deliverable, rigid deadlines were never really the point. As new ideas came up or priorities shifted, the team adapted scope accordingly. That flexibility let the project grow organically based on what was actually needed. 

Where they consistently excelled was responsiveness. New ideas or changing needs were typically turned around within the same week. That speed, combined with strong ongoing communication from the team meant I never really waited for anything for long. Requests were heard, scoped, and built quickly, which kept momentum high throughout the two years.

For a project like this, born from an idea and shaped over time, that combination of flexibility and quick execution made the partnership work, and it's a big part of why it has lasted as long as it has.

Honestly, for me it's Eduard. He has been the point person for me. Give him a loose idea, barely thought out, and he just builds it. No endless back and forth, no twenty questions to figure out what I actually meant. He gets it and runs with it, and what comes back usually matches or beats what I had in my head.

The second thing is the combo of speed and communication. A lot of teams are fast but sloppy on updates, or great communicators who move slow. Meduzzen managed both. Quick turnaround on new ideas, and Irina kept everything clear and on track the whole way through.

The third thing is just looking at where this started versus where it is now. One idea turned into a live financial database, an AWS backend, a Google Sheets add-on, and two full websites, one of which is already getting expanded into v2 and v3. That kind of growth over two years wouldn't be possoble without this team behind it.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Meduzzen could have done differently?

Honestly, I can't point to much. If I'm really nitpicking, the lack of rigid timelines could be a downside for someone who needs hard deadlines for planning purposes. But for me, that flexibility actually worked in my favor since the project kept evolving anyway. And I'm sure if I asked for tight deadlines, they would have no problem meeting them.

Simply put, I don't have any complaints after two years of working with them.

There was a strong sense that everyone was working toward the same goal and genuinely cared about the project's success. The overall experience felt more like working with an extension of our own team than with an external vendor. That level of commitment, communication, and support is something I rarely encounter and truly appreciated.

If I had to suggest one area for improvement, it would be having even more detailed and formalized requirements before development begins. A stricter validation process at the planning stage could help prevent some changes and refinements during implementation. However, the team handled all adjustments professionally and was always willing to find the best solution, so this did not negatively impact the overall success of the project.
