Mediacamp Digital Marketing Agency helps us with our digital marketing, SEO, graphic design, and influencer marketing campaigns. They work on formulating promotions and reaching out to individuals who can boost our marketing strategies. Their resources handle all SEO-related tasks, and we simply give our feedback on the results they produce. 

During our campaigns, Abigail (Manager) and her team pitch ideas and brainstorm with us to plan what to do in the coming months. We have meetings, and they present their campaign plans to us. After giving our feedback and suggestions, we discuss the requirements regarding content and teammates. From there, we discuss our budget, schedule the campaign, and put it on Teamwork. 

Medicamp Digital Marketing Agency also provides us with social media services. They have access to our Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram accounts. They usually schedule our social media posts and stories. We also use their Meta Ads services. Moreover, they do the talking when it comes to influencer outreach; we simply handle the backend.

We’ve mainly worked with Abigail. When she’s not around, another teammate handles tasks such as setting up meetings, pitching ideas, and contacting influencers. We also work with Danielle and Dame (Digital Marketing Specialists).

We had an in-house marketing specialist before. However, when that specialist resigned, we began looking for an external marketing agency. We received various proposals from marketing agencies, but we settled with Abigail because she was one of our company's customers. We found her Instagram account and learned about her business. 

Our team chose them over their competitors because we truly liked their proposal. Their services were customizable — we could add or remove specific services we might not need, which helped with our budget management. On top of that, we saw Abigail’s work with one of our partners. The feedback we received from the partner was great.

We measure success through our sales and foot traffic at the company. The results have been great, and we’ve been reaching our quotas. For SEO results, we’re now at the top seven spot on Google results for our target keywords. We’ve boosted some of our posts, and the feedback has been good.

Abigail, Dame, and Danielle have been great at assisting us. It’s been great working with them. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their videos are great and engaging. Abigail and her team also guide us skillfully through a step-by-step marketing process. I appreciate that they have a plan laid out for us. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

Sometimes, our schedules don’t meet. For example, we’ve had some miscommunication regarding booking influencers. Additionally, we can’t contact the team in real-time; we must schedule meetings with them. In addition, we’ve experienced some problems transitioning to working with Danielle from Dame, who is resigning soon. Because of this, there have been a few setbacks in the deliverables. 

Moreover, although their videos have been great, the graphic designs they’ve delivered don’t always align with what we want. As a result, we have to revise the designs. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Lay out your plans from the beginning and ensure your expectations are clear. This way, you can better gauge the engagement’s success. On top of that, trust Abigail and her team — they’re experts. You can’t raise your concerns but don’t micromanage them. Let them do their job.

The Streetfair for the last 2 years (2022 and 2023) were a huge success. So many people went to the event.

They are very professional, with creative and out-of-the-box ideas. They were always on time in their deliverables. We had a calendar on what to deliver on certain dates, and there was never a need to follow up or re-do what they delivered.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Mediacamp Digital Marketing Agency comes up with social media campaigns for us every month. They create a series of content, stories, and posts and handle the photography-related tasks for these content pieces. They essentially come up with the materials on their own. From there, we tell them if we like the content or want to go in another direction. 

Moreover, they run paid ads using the content. Based on our previous ads, they make recommendations about what ads to run in the future and where to funnel more of the budget. 

The SEO component of the engagement is relatively more recent. They’ve been working on generating backlinks for us to improve our Google ranking. If people search for nearby restaurants, we should be on the list. The team has also recommended what promotions we can run if we want more people to come to the restaurant.

Our social media campaigns have been successful; a few have gotten a hundred thousand views. We’ve seen a noticeable difference in the number of customers coming to our restaurant before and after the engagement — there has been a greater foot traffic.

We’ve never had any issues in terms of deadlines; everything has been done on time. For communication, we’ve used Viber and Facebook Messenger. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Mediacamp Digital Marketing Agency takes care of their relationship with their clients. They ensure we get what we want, and they want to do things the way we request. Moreover, they’re honest — they make recommendations if they think something won’t work. Overall, they always find ways to improve their services. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

There have been a few typographical errors in the posts, so I have to correct those. To be fair, we have a Mexican restaurant, and I’m a Spanish speaker; I don’t expect them to also know Spanish.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

It would be helpful if you had an internal teammate to coordinate everything with Mediacamp Digital Marketing Agency. If not, some things might lag behind, especially if you’re not interacting a lot with the team. They also need information from your side. 

In our case, I’ve dropped the ball a few times. It sometimes takes me a bit longer to get back to the team, and it affects things because they can’t do their best when I mess up. It would have been helpful to them if I had a dedicated teammate coordinating everything.

Mediacamp Digital Marketing Agency is the first marketing team I've ever worked with, so I can't compare them to anyone else. The team reaches out to our customers to initiate meetings, mentioning the possibility of our hotel hosting events. Mediacamp Digital Marketing Agency's initiative has strengthened our brand, and I also like their creativity. Coupled with their creativity, Mediacamp Digital Marketing Agency provides data that gives us insights to help understand our audience.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Everything has been running smoothly, and thanks to Mediacamp, we've been able to increase our follower count and engagement. Although our followers haven't increased a lot, they're constantly increasing. Their team is very good at giving us tips on how to do things better, especially regarding social media posting. Overall, the working relationship between our teams is very good.

The most impressive thing about Mediacamp is that every time we ask them to do something, they're always there to deliver, no questions asked.
