What challenge were you trying to address with Mask Info Systems?

I wanted to create a platform with a loyalty model different from the ones available on the market. Our model gives points to social media users when they interact with businesses and creates something we call an organic brand blend.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Mask Info Systems has designed and developed my website and mobile application for iOS and Android. They’ve developed both products from scratch, including the UI/UX design. Initially, we went through a conceptualization phase with the developers and the project manager that Mask Info Systems had assigned me. 

Once the conceptualization was over, Mask Info Systems created the blueprints of the loyalty model. The model consists of eight user types and three loyalty models integrated into a platform with different rewards, including food, gifts, and events. Mask Info Systems also gave me the wireframe and the app’s development phases. They’ve also designed a later version of the app targeted at the US market.

When there have been bugs on either the website or the app, Mask Info Systems uses a special analysis report to understand how they can enhance the platforms and prevent future bugs. They identify the location of each issue and have created scheduled plans for reboots.

Something important about this project is to ensure the security of our user’s data. Mask Info Systems has encrypted the different APIs and given me solutions to improve my product. 

What is the team composition?

The first person I got in contact with was Mohd (CEO); he has worked closely with me to help me understand the phases of the project. I’ve also worked with a project manager and three developers, although I’m only in contact with Mohd and the project manager.

How did you come to work with Mask Info Systems?

I found Mask Info Systems through an online search. I read their Google reviews and contacted them. This project had complex requirements, and I talked to other companies that didn’t understand my project. When I met with Mohd, I could tell he understood my requirements. 

How much have you invested with them?

I’ve invested around $35,000–$39,000 with Mask Info Systems. Each milestone and development phase has its own cost.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started the project in September 2022, and we’re still working together.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Mask Info Systems has helped me turn my idea into reality. Since we started working together, Mask Info Systems has understood my project’s requirements.

We’ve had bugs and issues with the web and software we provide, and Mask Info Systems has been good at integrating solutions to prevent them from happening again. They’ve also given me advice and insights to improve my product. 

Mask Info Systems has been good at adapting to the guidelines and requirements of different providers. For example, we had to change the design and some functionalities of the mobile app to fit iOS requirements. At one point, I brought in a financial advisor to better understand my project’s financial background, and Mask Info Systems was able to understand the requirements of this advisor.

How did Mask Info Systems perform from a project management standpoint?

Mask Info Systems is proactive and agile and has good time management. We’ve had different deadlines throughout the project, and whenever I’ve set a deadline, Mask Info Systems has met it. 

We use Asana for project management, and Mask Info Systems is efficient on that end. They’ve given me access to their Asana account, and I can see the milestones and deliverables.

Mask Info Systems is responsive to all the communication channels we use. We collaborate through Google Groups and use WhatsApp and phone calls for closer communication. We also use Zoom and Microsoft Teams for video calls. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m most impressed with the relationship Mask Info Systems has built with me. They can build a close relationship, and when I ask them for something, they always go the extra mile.  

Moreover, Mohd has become like a friend to me; he’s kind and has helped me manage my emotions throughout the process. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything for Mask Info Systems to improve.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I recommend you take the time to sit down with Mask Info Systems and give them all their project requirements. Usually, other companies charge you for the discovery phase, and after it, they realize they’re unable to go on with your project.  

Meanwhile, Mask Info Systems really takes the time to understand your project, and they don't charge for the discovery phase.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

They submitted all deliverables within a reasonable time frame as agreed in the contract, they were cooperative and provided all needed support Timely.

The communication and feedback were excellent, They were answering my inquiries even after working hours.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was impressed with their responsiveness. They know their business very well, and whenever I needed them, they were always there to help.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They may need to educate clients who do not have a technical background in IT about how IT projects work before starting any project. This will help the clients better understand what is required from them.
