The Maniac team went above and beyond in helping us redesign and develop our city tourism website. They are exceptional listeners, who really tune in and learn their clients' needs to help them find and speak with their own authentic voice.
From photography and video deliverables, to totally on-point copywriting, and then putting it all together in an organized and flowing website...They were partners from start to finish, and support us even after the project's completion. We now seek additional ways to continue working with them; they are just that good!

Our website engagement has increased 11% since the new content and site was launched.

Maniac's project management was superior. We were kept up-to-date using an online system, as well as personal updates via phone and email periodically. They were flexible where it was needed in order to ensure the best outcomes, while also very organized and on-time with deliverables.

Maniac's personal time and care that they put into their work is evident from the get-go. They became part of our team rather than just a consultant on the side. It was a true partnership, and this above all else stands out. Their final product is always top tier as well, from video/photography/copywriting/development.

I wouldn't change a thing about their work.

Maniac built out our website and e-commerce platform integrating it with our existing point of sale system and software for our multi-location retail brand.

Tim and Maniac hit every deadline and every budget on every project we have ever worked on. Our return on investment from our rebranded e-commerce site has brought back 10 fold on the investment we made.

Tim and the Maniac crew have been invaluable partners to us and our business as it’s grown over the years. I use that word partner on purpose because from the jump, it’s felt like a truly collaborative experience where they are as much a part of our team as everyone working in house. They’ve been an extension of our team even when we don’t have an existing project. What has been most helpful is their ability to listen truly to our needs and then propose solutions that fit our budget, our needs, and our future plans versus pitching us a one size fits all solution. Everything we have ever worked on has been truly contextual to where we were and what we needed but also held open the possibility for future growth. Beyond that communication their execution has always been on point. Never missing a deadline or going over budget. If they say they’re going to do something they do it. And the solution always looks so polished. To the point that sometimes people think our small business is actually a large fancy corporation due to how polished our site and user experience is. Just highly, highly recommend if you want a true partner to help you do the things you want to do in the creative and technical worlds.

Maniac finish the product and then approached us afterward with a whole new 2.0 version of the website. They have been watching us, learning our industry, and learning us. As they did this, they came out with products and ideas to help assist us in seeing our growth. Not only did they help us grow, but they were able to see our future obstacles and help us pivot well to scale before we were even in a need or crisis. They were amazing.

Their continual ability to stay curious, learn our industry, help us scale because of what they learned, and walk with us throughout the process. It is hard-pressed to find something they need to improve on. Mostly, I think they continue to grow so they can impact more organizations positively!

I'm the founder of Slingshot. We make store and ship swag for companies like Adobe, Stripe, and General Electric.

For what projects/services did your company hire Maniac, and what were your goals?

We ship swag all over the world but needed an easy way for our customers to offer this to their team members and customers. We came up with the idea for a simple form that would loop to a call-to-action but didn't want to go fully custom to develop the idea out and needed help on building a proof of concept.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I knew of Maniac from other work colleagues in my past and I know they specialized in quickly moving to MVP for a product or service by using no-code. We knew if we took this project to most other agencies they'd want to do a custom buildout before we had any data. That to us, would be a waste

They developed a system for our swag redemption pages that were built directly into our Wordpress website (which made the integration SUPER easy). We connect Gravity forms results over to Zapier which then sent that info over to our shipping software (Shipstation). The entire thing was seamless.

I worked specifically with Tim Cibene who handled all of the logistics within his team. He is the Founder.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We were able to reduce the time to creating a new landing page by almost 10 minutes saving our team a ridiculous amount of time. We were able to increase conversion rates because we reduced the time it took to claim a gift by 5 seconds. This MVP got over 12 thousand submissions which proved our hypothesis that we were moving in the right direction and gave us the courage to fully build out our next version with custom code.

They were quick to respond and deliver. Communicated via Zoom and/or Slack. We also emailed some of the more important details. We passed designs over in Figma and they had no pushback.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The above and beyond mindset was obvious. They pushed back on areas which would slowed us down in the future or killed conversions with our customer's customers. They didn't pressure us to overbuild our MVP and stripped out lots of things that made it faster to launch.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Fortunately not. They have been a great partner and even let us badger them now about little ideas we have. Great to have a sounding board!
