Our Story

Lumitech started in Dubai in 2022 with one belief: software should solve real business problems, not just work well. Our founder spent years as a hands-on engineer at an outsourcing vendor, serving fast-growing and enterprise clients, and saw where even Fortune 100 companies struggle. So we built Lumitech differently: a working prototype before the contract, AI across the whole delivery cycle, and business impact as the only KPI. Four years later we have grown 850%.

What Sets Us Apart

Prototype before the contract

Every engagement starts with a working interactive prototype, built from your brief within days. You review the screens and flows, we agree the scope together, and only then do we prepare the estimate and contract. You see the product before you pay for development.

AI-driven delivery, smaller teams

We use AI across the whole cycle — requirements, architecture, coding, testing, documentation. The same scope takes fewer people and less time than classic hour-based estimates, and every user-facing capability is priced as a separate line, so you know exactly what you pay for.

One of the fastest-growing teams on Clutch

In four years Lumitech went from a small team to the #1 IT consulting company in the UAE on Clutch and Upwork, with 50+ delivered products and 20+ AI features in production. Today we bid alongside global vendors for enterprise and government tenders in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

Commonly Asked Questions

Prototype First means Lumitech starts every engagement with a clickable prototype instead of a written proposal. Within days of the first call, the client receives a working AI prototype of the key screens and flows, built from their brief. The client reviews it, we adjust the scope together, and only then do we prepare the estimate and contract. This removes most of the risk from the early stage: the client checks our understanding of the product before spending a significant budget, and the final estimate is based on an agreed prototype, not on assumptions.

Yes. Lumitech builds every product to the OWASP Top 10 security standard by default, and the security, performance, backup and audit requirements are included in every estimate as a standard non-functional block. For clients in regulated industries, we design systems to meet GDPR, HIPAA and UAE data-residency requirements, including hosting in-country (UAE or KSA) where the client's regulator requires it. Lumitech has delivered projects for healthcare, finance and government-linked clients in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, the UK and the US, and works under NDA and data-processing agreements as a standard part of the contract.

Lumitech offers two engagement models. For products with a defined scope, we work on outcome-based fixed-price milestones: the project is split into phases, each phase has a fixed price and a clear deliverable, and payment is made per milestone. For products that change often, we offer a dedicated team on a monthly retainer. In both cases the engagement usually starts with a short Discovery phase and a prototype. Estimates list every user-facing capability as a separate line, so the client can see exactly what each hour is spent on and remove or add features before signing.

Lumitech is a custom software development company based in Dubai that works in an AI-driven way. We build a working interactive prototype before the contract is signed, so the client sees the product before paying for development. We use AI tools across the whole delivery cycle — requirements, architecture, coding, testing and documentation — which lets us deliver the same scope with a smaller team and in less time than classic hour-based estimates. Lumitech is ranked #1 IT consulting company in the UAE on Clutch and holds a 5.0 rating.

Lumitech is currently focused on three types of work. First, AI-powered products for business: AI voice and chat agents, RAG-based knowledge assistants, intelligent document processing, and AI features added to existing platforms. Second, custom web and mobile platforms for enterprise and government-linked clients in the UAE and Saudi Arabia — customer apps, dealer and partner portals, booking and operations systems, and internal tools that replace spreadsheets and manual processes. Third, MVPs for funded startups that need a working product in 6–10 weeks. We work best with clients who have a clear business problem and want to see a prototype before committing to a full build. We are less suited for staff augmentation with no product ownership, or for maintenance-only work on legacy systems we did not build.

Premier Verified means Clutch independently confirmed Lumitech is a legally registered business,
financially sound (Creditsafe: Low Risk), and backed by 53 verified client reviews averaging 5.0 stars.
