KlientBoost

BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

We are a Medical Interpreting and Translating Institute that teaches bilingual individuals on what they need to know to become Certified Medical Interpreters & Translators. We also provide On-Demand Interpreting Services to Hospitals and Healthcare Facilities.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire KlientBoost?

We hired Klientboost initially to aid us in setting up proper PPC campaigns so we could start expanding our reach and bring in more qualified students.

What were your goals for this project?

The goals for this project was to bring in qualified students to become medical interpreters at the minimum of a 2:1 ROI.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

We selected Klientboost through an extensive search and evaluation of the top ppc companies from various review sites and search results.

Describe the project in detail.

The project consisted primarily of the optimization, creation, and expansion of our PPC initiatives in terms of Google Ads, Bing Ads, and Facebook Ads. It also included the development and continous CRO Optimizations of target Landing pages.

What was the team composition?

We usually go through a project manager specific to the initiative at hand. Currently for PPC that consist of someone managing the account and a designer/cro expert for the landing pages. We also are able to keep in touch with the CEO to inquire on other initiaitves and updates.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

So far this has produced tremendous results allowing us to double our ARR with a very high ROI which has allowed us to further invest in improving our course structure and experience for our students.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Extremely good, they more or less feel like an extension of my own team.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I find most impressive in that unlike other companies we have worked with Klientboost is always prompt, responsive, and willing to work with us when we have a change of focus or have a higher priorty initiative we would like to get started instead of what is already being worked on.

Are there any areas for improvement?

As of currently there really isn't any. By the time something comes to mind they manage to already resolve it so my only complaint is that there isn't anything for us to complain about.

BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the Head of Growth for a security system for both residential and business. The company is headquarted in the Bay Area and employs roughly 50 employees.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire KlientBoost?

I hired KlientBoost to manage our paid social channels.

What were your goals for this project?

Considering we were close to officially launching our product, we wanted to drum up awareness and drive a significant amount of leads interested in the product. When we did launch, the goal was to drive sales.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

Originally made contact with KlientBoost at a previous company and when considering an Ad Agency, they were one of the providers that came to mind. Due to great conversations I had with the Founder/CEO, I decided to pull the trigger on KlientBoost.

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

They would manage our paid acquisition channels from setting up new campaigns, designing new ads and landing pages, to reporting on metrics.

What was the team composition?

Collaborated with an Account Manager and a Designer.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We drove leads at a reasonable CPL and when the product launched the first initial weekend, the results were pretty strong as well.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

It was just okay. As a startup, we were and still are very agile; so their response time, even though was sub-par, needed improvements. Also, some campaigns that were intended to launch weren't and I found myself doing them myself just to get them out the window.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

That they provided design services alongside managing Ad Campaigns.

Are there any areas for improvement?

It depends; but maybe it boils down to you get what you pay for. KlientBoost rate wasn't bad, I'll give them that. And they were above average when it came to the quality of work they did. But when you have a significant amount of budget carved out for Advertising, you itch for more than just average or above average. I eventually jumped ship to another agency (who were slightly more expensive) and their quality is phenomenal. Their attention to detail, making constant improvements, turn-around time, and reporting was the best I've seen --- and I've been in marketing for over 15 years. So when I compare KlientBoost to them - KlientBoost sat somewhere around average and above average.

SOLUTION

Describe the project in detail.

After meeting with Klient Boot we outlined our immediate needs to generate leads and increase brand awareness. They began taking over our Google PPC and Ad Words accounts. Each week we would meet and discuss the success of each campaign. We would either add marketing dollars and turn up the Ad Words and try new online ad's.

What was the team composition?

We had an account manager from Klient boost which we met with weekly and myself and the CEO of our company.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We had great success in driving more online traffic to our ads and generated more leads.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Workflow was very easy, they made things simple but being very data driven with accurate reporting. That gave us the confidence to add more money to our budget to continue to drive more leads.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Our ability to scale our marketing dollars to meet our individual needs. The value was fantastic. We were able to save money and actually increase our spending after a few months. The quality of work and service could not have been better. Very accurate reporting with transparency and honest communication.

Are there any areas for improvement?

It did take a few weeks for them to learn some of the lingo used in our industry but that was minor and for only a short period of time.

BACKGROUND

ServiceCore is a software platform built specifically for the liquid waste industry. I'm the demand generation manager so my primary goal is to book demos for our sales reps to highlight our platform.

Klientboost runs our paid social media and CPC advertising. They also create new ads including media and ad copy.

What were your goals for this project?

We aim to increase visibility online, book more demos, and target the right people in our industry.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

A consultant we had at the time had worked with the agency previously and had great success with similar projects.

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

We meet weekly to discuss the ongoing projects and cover a variety of topics. Klientboost owns our Google ads, Bing ads, and social media advertising accounts. They own our keyword strategy and ad spend across all platforms. They also create and manage all of the ads and copy on those platforms, including landing pages for those ads.

What was the team composition?

I work directly with our account manager, Luke, and the lead designer on our account.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our inbound leads year over year are up approximately 75% which is largely due to Klientboost's efforts. This has resulted in more demos and more closed deals. We have also expanded the number of keywords and ad groups to more than double the pre-existing number.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow is very effective. We keep in communication via Slack, meetings, and emails. We have access to communicate with our account team and the CEO whenever necessary so we haven't had any delays or issues with the account in a long time.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Early on in the process, we had an account manager that wasn't really working out. The company quickly shifted our team around and got us the perfect account manager. Since then, things have been smooth sailing. We also have a very collaborative relationship where both sides bring ideas to the table but aren't afraid to reject bad ideas.

Are there any areas for improvement?

None that I can think of. The team is proactive and easy to work with, we're pleased with the results.

1. Develop audiences to present ads to.
2. Create actual ads including graphics and copy.
3. Manage our ad spend.
4. Offer solutions to increase sales and ROAS.

What was the team composition?

I have worked with an Account Manager and time to time management.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have experienced a few bumps in the road along the way - all out of their control. The current world pandemic has caused major logistic issues with our business. Klientboost has been more than accommodating in helping us navigate these trying times.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Our experience to date has been good

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their ability to work with us outside of our original scope impressed us. I believe they want us to succeed and are willing to do new things to help, including changing the original scope on the fly.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Too early for us to know. Because of the current world situation we have not been able to get a current run of multiple months,

BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I was the Marketing Director for a high-growth startup providing experiential lunch programs to top tech companies across 7 major U.S. markets.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire KlientBoost?

I hired KlientBoost to take over the management of our SEM/PPC and landing page conversion optimization.

What were your goals for this project?

I wanted to dramatically reduce our CPA and increase lead conversion across our search marketing platforms. I also wanted to implement remarketing and display advertising.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

I requested proposals from several national and local service providers and evaluated the bids based on cost, accountability to performance KPIs, and account management plan. KlientBoost was in line with my budget expectations and proved to have a plan that met our business goals and were able to convey competency, transparency, and trust in the sales process. The final 3 options were reviewed by myself and the company's co-founders.

Describe the project in detail.

We went through a streamlined onboarding process to align on our brand identity, share assets, and determine our initial 3-month strategy and goals. We granted them access to all of our analytics and ad platforms for them to run an analysis.

They proceeded to run keyword analysis, restructure our campaigns and ad groups using SKAG methodology, and simultaneously developing new landing pages with CTA and creative A/B testing.

What was the team composition?

We had an account manager as our day-to-day contact as well as a dedicated UI designer. We also had access to the management team as well as the company owner to review performance.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our CPA on Google was reduced by an average of more than 200% and ROAS increased to almost 8000%. Our goal at the outset of the project was to reduce CPA by 20%.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

I had weekly video calls with our account manager and they were highly available via email or if we needed to jump on a last-minute call. I also had access to their project management platform to view project progress at my convenience.

We also were provided a custom performance dashboard to see how all of our ad platforms were performing in real time. Communication was always proactive from their end and they handled the relationship with a high degree of transparency and clarity.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

As an SMB with a relatively limited ad budget in comparison to a lot of their other more high profile clients, we always felt cared for, respected, and valued. At every level of KlientBoost's leadership, this level of care has rung true throughout our business relationship.

This was proven especially true as our company was majorly impacted by COVID-19. They were immediately flexible in working with us financially and showed agility to help us pivot the business. They actively brainstormed and brought value to the table without being asked.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I honestly cannot think of anything that stands out to me as an area needing improvement based on my experience with their team.

BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

When I worked with KlientBoost, I was the Paid Media Manager for a global cybersecurity company headquartered in Houston, Texas. I managed the company's demand generation efforts in all paid media channels including paid search, paid social, content syndication, and display.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire KlientBoost?

We were in search of a new PPC agency that could carry out US and UK campaigns with world-class execution and service.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to clean up our paid search accounts in Google and Bing to comply with best practices, prioritize key terms for improved ROI, and increase conversion rates.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

We found KlientBoost through a referral, but we also considered other agencies. Ultimately, we found that KlientBoost aligned with our methodologies and goals best.

Describe the project in detail.

After the kickoff meeting, we started by restructuring the account to align with best practices, revised key ad groups and ad copy, and cut some high-spending keywords that were not positively contributing to ROI. Month-over-month, we would continue to optimize and test new areas such as new keywords, new ad copy, new asset promotion, and landing pages.

They also were very diligent in adding negative keywords or adjusting keywords as necessary to avoid unwanted traffic and wasted spend. KlientBoost also recommended additional PPC platforms that were relevant to our business.

What was the team composition?

We had an account manager who handled the day-to-day communication and management, but we also worked with the landing page designers often.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We established benchmarks for cost-per-lead through the PPC channel as a whole. Over time, the optimizations and tests conducted through KlientBoost reduced our CPL and made our investments more efficient. I can't remember exactly by how much (I've been out of the role for about a year), but I want to say it was at least by 50%.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The KlientBoost team was extremely pleasant to work with. They weren't afraid to bounce ideas off of each other and provide their expertise without sounding condescending or saying "no, we can't do that". They always had a way to make things work, and we trusted that they would handle our account with care, treating it as if it was their own advertising dollars. They were very responsive, and when there was a switch in our account managers, it was hardly noticeable.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Not only were the results outstanding, but our methodologies aligned so well. I was confident that they followed best practices and had a tight reign on unwanted activity in the account.

Are there any areas for improvement?

There's almost nothing I would say that needed improvement. Any time there was an issue such as a misspelling in an ad, it was caught and remedied right away. So, I guess if anything, just expectation setting to prioritize accuracy over speed to launch.

BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the owner of a web development and marketing agency who DOES NOT do paid search. We leave that to paid search experts since most paid search agencies are not good and not honest.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire KlientBoost?

Since we do not do paid search (PPC) ourselves, we work with others who specialize in this area of advertising.

What were your goals for this project?

To lower our cost per acquisition and increase the number of acquisitions.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

We had worked with several agencies before them. We worked with them after meetings and evaluation.

Describe the project in detail.

We used them to get a handle on our PPC campaign, get the cost per aquisition down and to grow the results of it.

What was the team composition?

We have a PPC lead and a designer that worked with him for landing pages.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

WIthin a relatively short period of time, our CPA dropped in half, which was badly needed and two other agencies were unable to do. That was a huge win for all of us.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Excellent. They are very responsive and care. Not a pretend care, but a real care. They are not perfect, but they really do try to nail it, which is a great attribue to have on your team.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their corporate culture of caring and trying to do their best is impressive. They do not shirk responsibility, they own up to issues and they really do try hard to do the best that they can. That is rare. And even if everything does not go according to plan, they keep trying and work on new strategies. And when things do go well, they work on new strategies to improve even more. I liked that a lot.

Are there any areas for improvement?

That is a silly question, we all have room for improvement.

BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

As Marketing Director of a SaaS product, I had to vet and hire a marketing agency to manage all of our paid advertising (Google, Facebook, LinkedIn).

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire KlientBoost?

We were looking to hire an agency to manage all of our paid digital ads (Facebook, Google, Youtube, LinkedIn).

What were your goals for this project?

We were looking for an agency that could effectively scale our ad spend budget to increase leads while maintaining an equal or lower cost per acquired budget.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

I was impressed with KlientBoost from the very beginning! They came with great references and case studies. I especially appreciated their data driven approach in creating clear goals for the project. They looked at more than our total number of leads, but set goals for cost per acquired customer.

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

KlientBoost was responsible for managing all of our paid advertising campaigns. They also worked on conversion rate optimization, and designed new landing pages for our campaigns.

What was the team composition?

I worked closely with our KlientBoost account manager. They had other team members that would check in on the account and a dedicated designer for our account, but it was great to have a single point of contact on their team.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We saw the number of leads we generated nearly double in the first two months of working with KlientBoost - granted we did also increase our marketing budget significantly during this time too. However, they were also able to lower our total CPA as well by diving into new markets & channels that we weren't previously advertising in.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The account manager always kept us informed on project progress and performance. He was incredibly responsive to all questions, over both the phone and email. We weren't looking for an agency that would ask for "approval" for every single ad, so we really appreciated their workflow, speed to test new concepts, and then keeping us informed on results.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their results-driven performance and attention to detail impressed me most! They looked at our analytics throughout our customer acquisition funnel, not just the top of funnel where their primary advertising focus was.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Everything can be improved in some way... If I had a request it would hav been that we could choose a designer on their team from the beginning, or see more mockups at the beginning. We weren't impressed with the very initial designs, but KlientBoost quickly resolved this by placing a new designer on the account.

BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm the founder and CEO of Plus Up, LLC a Maryland startup committed to helping parents of young children achieve a more peaceful home and connected family through positive reinforcement. Goodtimer is a fun, interactive, and easy-to-use educational toy designed to encourage good habits through positive reinforcement, tangible incentives, and family participation!

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire KlientBoost?

We hired KlientBoost to help us develop and implement a PPC advertising strategy.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goal was to reach potential customers using Facebook and Instagram ads, educate potential customers, increase brand awareness and sell more product.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

Our team did a comprehensive search, interviewed four agencies and ultimately decided to engage with KlientBoost after an initial interview and review of their proposal and capabilities brief.

Describe the project in detail.

KlientBoost has been a trusted partner since we started working with them earlier this year (2020). First, they took the time to understand our business, then they worked with us to develop and implement a custom strategy suited to our specific needs and budget.

Most importantly, at first, when our campaign didn't achieve the results we had hoped for, they analyzed the data and provided effective solutions to improve campaign performance. Their collaborative approach helped us quickly implement improvements, saving us valuable time and money. Their team is professional and responsive but most importantly they care about our business and go out of their way to deliver a high-quality product that exceeds expectations.

What was the team composition?

We primarily interface with our account manager, but will frequently collaborate with other team members (graphic design, landing page development, SEO experts, email campaign experts) as necessary when their involvment is needed.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We've seen a measurable improvement in our key performance metrics including an increase in return on ad spend and a reduction in the cost of customer acquisition.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow is good. They use a site called Asana to manage our campaign activities. We use Google Drive for file sharing, email for daily communications, and Google meets or Zoom for bi-weekly video conferences.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their team is professional and responsive but most importantly they care about our business. They go out of their way to deliver a high-quality product that exceeds expectations.

Are there any areas for improvement?

We'd really like to see continued improvement in the performance of our ad campaigns. We've made great progress so far, but we haven't been able to get our ads to convert at a rate that allows us to scale for the kind of growth we need.
