1. We went through a discovery phase where Klientboost did a complete audit of our current strategy. We then went through an onboarding phase where Klientboost went in and cleaned up our google platform. This was followed by a launch of new and existing campaigns, follow up meetings on a bi weekly basis, and optimizations and insights made along the way.

KB has decreased our cost per lead and increased the number of conversions by google ads.

KB is readily available on Slack and we have a very detail Asana instance that tracks progress. We also meet weekly to discuss the health of our campaigns.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They are creative, attentive, and have very quick turnaround times.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The team had some turn over which affected our productivity for a short period. I would say if there is turn over to not let anything fall between the cracks or lapse while they are assigning a new team member.

The whole team was made available to us. We closely interact with an account manager but also have visibility into the creative process, campaign build process and much more.

So far we have seen a big jump in the quality of form fills on our site and overall volume of phone calls to our sales team generating from Google/Facebook campaigns established by KlientBoost.

We have ongoing weekly/biweekly status checks to review results. They are also always available via email slack to answer any last minute quetsions.

We're impressed with their knowledge of campaign management and optimization. We used to do that in house to some degree but with standards and technology constantly changing, KlientBoost helps keep us current on the digital landscape without exhausting our internal resources.

Not really. We enjoy working with them.

KlientBoost has exceeded all of our expectations as a Digital ads partner. They offer clear, open communication, and a wealth of knowledge about not only the ads tools that are used, but how to use them to the best of our ability as a team.

What I find most impressive about KlientBoost is their ability to stay up to date with all of the little details our marketing team throws at them.

My company creates digital care management solutions for health plans and health systems throughout the United States. Our technology is used to support care managers in helping manage the health and care of the members and patients they serve.  Our solution helps them deliver the right care, to the right member/patient at the right time.

We were struggling with lead conversion, so we hired KlientBoost to help us convert people visiting our site pages and content.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We started the engagement with a meeting with the KlientBoost team and walked them through our goals. They gave us a survey where they learned about what we were trying to accomplish. Then, they put together a team for us; they searched for the right people to engage with us since we had unique challenges. 

Meanwhile, we did the same on our side; we pulled the right team together on our end, to set us up for success.

From there, they used our style guide and survey answers to build landing pages. As they built those, our resources started working on our ad copy. KlientBoost then gave us data around the keywords they believed would work best for us based on what we shared with them. 

Sometimes our team is over-prescriptive in our approaches to working with new vendors, but we really wanted to let them drive the engagement.  We hired them for their expertise!

Today, we’re working solely on PPC and retargeting, but anticipate expanding the scope of our partnership into social media advertising.  The initial scope of our partnership for this project is six months, but we anticipate it not only going on for much longer, but expanding in scope.

We have a team of heavy-hitters from Klientboost including our primary point of contact who ensures that we’re happy and that all projects are moving along.  We occasionally work with others assigned to our team - the people designing the landing pages for conversion optimization, or those working on the ad copy and keywords. If needed, there are more senior people on the team we can reach out to - but that hasn’t been necessary so far.

I have used KlientBoost at other companies.  Initially, I found them by searching for best practices in optimizing Google ads - their founder/CEO (Johnathan) consistently came up having written articles on the topic, posted on a handful of websites that I trusted…I decided to give him a call.

I’ve referred them to a number of other companies, and was thrilled when the opportunity presented itself to bring them on board at my current company.

We pay KlientBoost around $5,000 per month.

We started working together in September 2021, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Since we’re early in this partnership, we are currently measuring success by increases in traffic and conversions.  Early results show that we’re increasing in rank on some of our top keywords, and are seeing new leads coming in on our pages.  In fact, we had 4X more leads this past week compared to a similar week the month prior.

We’re also monitoring the number of visitors that visit our website in relation to our target keywords. Our team is also trying to drive the cost a bit over the next few months, so we’re not there yet. That being said, we’re getting people in the door and engaging with our content.

How did KlientBoost perform from a project management standpoint?

KlientBoost’s project management is 100% awesome. They’re energetic and fun to talk to; they always do what they say they’re going to do. Moreover, their resources are highly organized; they have everything on Asana and a Google Document. 

On top of that, our meetings are efficient. We usually get everything done in half of the allotted time, though we can also stay and talk to them — their team is simply great. To communicate, we use emails and meetings. We usually have scheduled meetings, but our teams can also hop on an impromptu meeting if necessary. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’ve worked with many other agencies, but KlientBoost feels different. We feel like they’re just in the next office, serving as an extension of our team. This project isn’t my favorite part of the job, but they make it fun. 

Moreover, since they’re a small agency, we don’t need an SoW for every little tweak we want to make. The engagement is highly fluid and flexible, which is what we have to be in this business. We don’t have this kind of relationship with other vendors.

At this time, I can't think of anything that I'd call out.

Talk to the KlientBoost team and feel comfortable with them. Enjoy the fact that they love what they do; they love their customers, and they’re passionate about their engagements. On top of that, know that they’re highly talented — they’ve hired some of the smartest people I’ve worked with, and I have nothing but great experiences.

We have many campaigns currently running, some of which drive traffic to a CRO landing page that is being used to test messaging, imagery and CTA buttons. We have bi-weekly calls to stay updated on progress, review content, dashboard updates, and discuss lead quality & budget optimization plans.

We mainly work with 4 people on their team directly. These include an Account Manager, Graphic Designer, SEO Strategist and Data Specialist.

So far, KlientBoost's initial goal was to reduce our acquisition costs by 20%. They've smashed our goal out of the water and still see possibilities to keep getting better!

We can reach them basically anytime on Slack. They respond in a timely manner via email as well. Anytime there is an issue, we discuss it quickly and then it is resolved shortly after that.

Their ability to get us hundreds more leads for the same budget spent compared to our last agency is extremely impressive.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We are working on solving some data accuracy challenges with dashboards & reporting, but I'm confident we'll get everything resolved.

We’re in a really great industry and it’s just really been great to have a partner that helps us take advantage of the market. On top of that, we see that our investment is really attributing to our bottom line.

We only have one point of contact, which is nice because we don’t have to track down a bunch of people to get updates on the project. We have a very good relationship with KlientBoost, and they’re always available when we need them. They do a good job of staying on top of our projects, and they’re respectful of our time. We use Asana, Slack, Google Meet, email, phone calls, text messaging, and more.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’ve helped me jump into projects and help give me a really good understanding of why we’re working on the strategies we have. I also appreciate the knowledge that they have in the channels that we’re running, and we can tell that they have a good understanding of where we need to put our ads and where to put our money.

I trust them and rely on them to make smart decisions on where our investments need to be spent. Overall, their knowledge, recommendations, and expertise have really helped us make sure that our partnership is successful.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We’ve had some challenges regarding deadlines because they’re working on a lot of things. I hope that once things settle down, that will improve again. However, in general, they show up for meetings on time.

I’d definitely refer KlientBoost because they can really help you in identifying what channels make the most sense, and they have a robust environment that can help you learn and optimize your strategies. We've seen positive trends from our Google Ads account, specifically with the TCRS segment. Facebook, we were able to maintain our benchmarks/goals.

With my position, the only tool I use is Slack where I submit my campaign briefs. KB usually confirms within 24 hours when they receive it and within a 3 day turn around time, has the campaigns up and ready to go. I've seen in meetings that they also use Asana for project management.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Coming from an agency, we usually have multiple people on the call where one person speaks to strategy, another to Google performance, another to social, etc. It's nice to have a knowledgeable team of all different channels and be able to answer questions well.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I think a lot of ideas we have (as a team, KB x Finning) to improve performance is to change bid strategies and how to structure campaigns. With frequent roll outs of new features (specifically Google), I'd love KB to think about more testing for us and think about how we can use these features as they become available.
