We shortlisted a few vendors online and contacted them to describe our requirements - we selected IIH Global based on their stated approach and pricing

We held a number of discovery working sessions reviewing user stories and work flows. IIH Global generated a statement of work with deliverables which included a COVID screening app on IoS and Android devices, with menu ordering capabilities and payments via Stripe - also included a web app and portal supporting restaurants which subscribed to the app. All deliverables were tested and validated before deployment.

We worked directly with a Project Manager and Developer.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The web portal and apps were ready after about 6 months, but we had challenges having the apps certified by Apple & Android for release on their stores due to evolving regulations around publishing COVID related apps. We worked with IIH Global via another statement of work to modify the apps accordingly before publishing on both stores.

The project manager was very easy to communicate with - very responsive. He set us up on Slack which made team collaboration very effective - we were able to exchange artifacts, view screenshots and track progress via Slack and weekly calls. He kept to quoted timelines and gave suitable notice regarding any impacts to deliverables

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Strong project management and collaboration, and they were quite knowledgeable about mobile app development. They did their homework when we asked them to explore options and were quite transparent with their findings.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nothing that IIH Global had control over, but our biggest hurdle was the delay we encountered trying to publish our apps in the App Store and Google Play Store, due to rapidly evolving regulations for publishing COVID related apps.

I was connected with Dhaval their Sr. Business Development Manager for the last 1 year, throughout our conversation I found that he can provide us with the required tech team and support to scale out our product. The thing I like about him is transparency, his approach, and his excellent industry/product knowledge.

We were looking for a remote team that can directly work with us on our app that we have developed using the latest technology Flutter. We need someone who can take care of the bugs as well as keep developing new futuristic functionalities. So, we had a meeting with Dhaval their Sr. Business Development Manager and from the very first meeting we were quite confident and sure that he will provide us with the best services

So, we have finalized to start working on it with the Time & Material Model. We have started and within a few hours, we have started seeing amazing results.

Two resources one is Sr. Mobile App Developer/Flutter Developer and Another one is working with us as a project manager/business manager, making sure everything goes smoothly.

Within a few hours of time, they were quite able to improve the overall app’s performance and also able to develop a few functionalities very quickly better then what we have expected so ultimately we are getting better quality now within the quicker timeline.

We are using excel and other third-party tools like Slack, and email for communication. Their project management style is excellent, they are only moving to the next task once we approve or provide them the confirmation that the completed task is error/bug-free and working well for all the end users.

We measure the development of the software project through a pdf file and PPT of things that must be done on each timeline (we call it stage), and each timeline has its deadline. This way will measure how many things done, how well it done, how in time it is delivered.

The communication tools used are slack and zoom. We communicate daily through slack and host a zoom meeting once in a while to discuss. Each stage deadline is 30 days. We expected the listed things on pdf done within 30 days. This already discuss first before the beginning of every stage.

Their communication attentiveness. It's never hard to reach them, and they always respond quickly to chats.

They designed and developed a robust clock-in/out feature for our custom software which met our specifications. This was done in Zoho Creator's low-code environment. After the initial delivery of the feature requirements, a dedicated developer was assigned to our company who built the update over a 3 months, with meetings held every 2-3 weeks to check progress and make adjustments.

Two people from the vendor's team worked directly. That was the Sr. Business Development Manager/Project Manager, and the software developer assigned to us.

The solution cut billable employee hours by ~10% for non-salaried employees. The quality of the feature is exceptional, and hasn't posed any bug issues since it's implementation about 2 months ago.

We communicated primarily with the Project Manager via slack. Communication was very prompt and timely.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What was most impressive about this company was their dedication to working with us and meeting our needs. They also met and exceeded our expectations on the overall quality of the update.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

While quality was great, we expected that the overall development speed to be faster. Development took 3 months when we needed the project completed in 2-4 weeks. To their credit, they had never worked with our specific low-code platform before, and our company had always used an in-house developer, and was the first time hiring a dedicated development firm. It was a learning curve on every side. I expect that they would work quicker on future Zoho Creator projects.
