IIH was hired to complete a web app based on a Figma wireframe we created. IIH used React and node to make our wireframe a real product.

Between 5-10 people worked on this project. We were given a main contact (Aastha) who did an excellent job being available and answering any questions we had. I was also frequently in contact with the lead developer on the project (Ronak) who explained the project in detail. These two did an exceptional job and are employees IIH can be proud of!

Currently, the product is undergoing a pilot.

IIH provides a primary contact who delegates between you (the client) and the development team. A majority of the project took place over Slack, which our IIH team effectively utilized. The timeliness was perfect. Changes we requested and bugs we found were addressed quickly and efficiently.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

IIH makes it easy for people trying to develop software for the first time. Ultimately, IIH was and has been on the same page with us from the beginning. They knew exactly what we were looking for, and what we didn't want. Other software development firms jumped at us with marketing proposals, designers, and irrelevant business consulting. IIH took the time to understand who we are and offer us their services accordingly.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

When designing front-end features, make key elements like the alignment of images, bars, and sizing more similar to the prototypes and wireframes provided. This was a minor problem and was quickly resolved.

IIH Global has helped develop and design software that allows us to send COVID-19 certificates smoothly to the end users on time. It also enables us to scan the tests and send information to customers. They build the solution from scratch using Laravel. Additionally, their team handles web development and maintenance support for us.

I only communicate with two people from their team, including a project manager.

So far, we’ve spent around £20,000 (approximately $24,000 USD) for their services.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them around April 2020, and our collaboration is still ongoing. Also, we’re about to launch a new company, and they’ll be helping us with that.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The software works fast, and the certificates go automatically to our customers’ emails as soon as the results are finalized. We had a problem with one of the servers last month, but the IIH Global team worked really hard to sort it out immediately. Overall, they’ve delivered software that’s user-friendly and runs very smoothly.

How did IIH Global perform from a project management standpoint?

They meet their deadlines and deliver outputs that are 100% ready and require no additional changes. We’re actually still working with them on one more project, which is 80% done already. They’ve been working hard and implementing any changes we ask for, so I think it’ll be reason time. For communication, we interact through phone calls and email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’ve been impressed with their responsiveness — whenever we have an issue, they get back to us as soon as possible and give their 100% effort. Moreover, their team understands that our customers are important because they need their certificates to travel, so whenever we need them, they give their best and update us immediately once things get sorted out. They’re also very friendly, approachable, and quick at solving problems.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, they’re doing a great job, and I honestly feel like they’re the best IT company I’ve ever worked with.

I definitely recommend working with them — they deliver quality work and are always spot on. Also, whenever you’re stuck on something, they’re always there to help you, which is exactly what you need from an IT company.

The site has been live for nearly 2 weeks now the feedback has been amazing everybody says how good it looks and how good it works I look forward to working with the team in the future.

Sanjay was the project manager he was absolutely amazing he always kept me in the loop and if I needed any help he would be there within a few minutes of me asking probably very stupid questions he always helped me no matter how trivial.

The company are absolutely amazing at what they do and what they have produced. Their selling point for us has been how they looked after they make their customers feel.

Throughout the entire process nothing came up at all I cannot think of anything negative to say about the company there are all brilliant.

Initially a new WordPress template was requested, after the content transferred we were working out other details more associated with the design, insertion of figures and other options such as forms. We conducted a competitive process. IIH Global scored best on price, reviews and similarity of previous projects.

We have had good response on initial demos to investors of our product. The final delivery date was ~2 weeks later than the original proposal

The price was particularly compelling.

There are two key areas where they could improve in future:

1. Communication between the developers and our team could be clearer. Due to the language barrier it was sometimes difficult to understand the Developer's comms and I think he also found it difficult to understand us.
2. Ensuring that the product meets the design specification. A lot of revisions and extra work had to be done, which should've been picked up by IIH's QA / testing team.

We will empower education by delivering an easy to use Smart Multimedia Library which is Secure, Private and will help Children and Teachers benefit from Visual Learning. 82% of us learn more through visual learning. Children start using computers from a very early age and are increasingly using the Internet whether at home, in school, on their mobile phones & tablets.

Internet Safety is one of our Prime Objectives and knowing how to help protect children and young people is essential. Over 90% of schools in the UK do not have access to a Private, Secure Media Library located within the school. (Market Research carried out by Brunel University, National Educational Conferences and Parental Email Campaigns) We are the only company in the UK to provide a Secure & Private Service to Schools as we do not use The Cloud so Security is controlled by the School. Parents are also very happy that their children do not have to use the Cloud.

The Smart Multimedia Library is a comprehensive educational resource that uses Visual Learning to increase knowledge. Its Management Interface delivers an easy to use solution for storing and creating media. It is secure as a separate Appliance (Server) is installed within each school and delivers media from one Central Secure Indexed Platform.

As our client base grew, we needed a customer management interface that allowed us to hold various sensitive information. It needed to be user-friendly, easy to follow but detailed at the same time. We needed to be able to communicate to our client base and team members through the interface and update information with minimal clicks.

What were your goals for this project?

We used various different platforms, each with their own purposes, which unfortunately left room for errors. We needed to combine all the functionalities of these platforms to build one master hub to minimise errors, allow for information to be shared efficiently and having all team members inputting and exporting information from the same, live database.

From the first meeting, we were put at ease. Our brief was understood and correctly interpreted. We needed a results-driven company to help create a master hub that would ensure all platforms we currently work on can be combined into one, and ultimately reduce workload within the company so we are able to focus primarily on our customer service.

They designed and developed a new customer management solution that allowed us to work efficiently and smarter. Once we provided a detailed flowchart of our workflow from initial meeting to delivery, the developers team began production and we began to see results almost instantly. We were able to test each section as and when they were ready and provide feedback to undergo additional changes to meet our requirements.

We were given a primary point of contact so communication back and forth was easy with effective comprehension. Recommended changes were made swiftly as our feedback was then voiced to the team and the system was developed swiftly.

As each section was developed and launched, we immediately began using the master hub which showed great results. Workload began to decrease, information was recorded and translated at a click of a button, and our team felt they were able to utilise their time wisely elsewhere.
