As the project was focused on the educational system, our "clients" were the teachers, the "parents" and the "students", so the only measurable thing has been that the new image of the academic area that has been implemented has been liked of the entire educational community.

What has cost me the most work is adapting to the time difference, since there are 5 hours difference between the two countries, and on many occasions I have had to adapt my schedule hard to be able to work with them in real time.

We are about to lunch the website this months, I shared some of the aspects of the website already with the potential users and had the great impressions on it.

We searched online for similar solutions and came across one the iGex Solutions had built already that was a starting point for what we were looking for.

The detailed communication on a daily basis was great.

The biggest challenge we had was conveying what we needed to someone who was familiar on some levels but not with the details, so it took a bit to clearly arrive at what was needed.

Sophie was very friendly and created a SOW that was easy to follow. Their offer was also in our budget range.

After the SOW was sent to us, we made some changes to it, then iGex started developing the website and asked us questions along the way if they needed some information. When the site was ready we were allowed to inspect both front-end and back-end and give feedback.

We have no measurable outcome yet but we are very happy with the deliverability of iGex.

I've never worked with an IT firm that was as quick to respond, fix bugs, and add features.

They could add more comments in the code, but that is just my personal taste. It was not included in the SOW.

iGex have provided the whole dedicated team which anyone required to design and develop a mobile application. They have provided the support from app features BRAINSTORMING (as we don’t have a well drafted requirements).

With the help of this brainstorming we have finalize the requirements and even to test their quality of work we didn’t gave a work them straight away they have proved their quality work by hard work and they provided the demo of amazing animated app intro screen so I must say their involvement is more than 100%.

At the beginning of the Application our plan is to stick with the app having only one calculator but after their hard work and capability we have added 3 more calculators in the application and even now working on the phase II of the application and only these happens because of their brainstorming capabilities.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

iGex is using Freedcamp as a project management tool and it makes the things very much easier for us. Whenever I found anything or would like to give any suggestion then I just have to open the FreedCamp and write it down in it and need to assign the task to specific person like designer, developer or tester. In short, I can easily communicate with everyone at the iGex.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

iGex Solutions' brainstorming skills and ability to respond quickly were impressive. Big plus point is their well define procedure from start to end of the work.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Yes, I think they need to increase their team size. No doubt whatever team size they have right now is well managed and very well experienced but as they are providing such quality work, I think they can increase the team size as well provide a quicker turnaround AND also perhaps work the same hours that we do in NZ for immediate communication rather than waiting overnight

We’re constantly receiving positive feedback from our customers. Whenever there are problems with the apps or website, the team is extremely responsive and understands the importance of remedying the issue quickly.

We continue to work with them and don’t have plans to end our engagement, as we know we can trust them to implement any updates when we face changes in compliance standards within the app stores.
