The goals were to develop an app that will evolve with customer feedback. We have updated our features regularly since the app was launched.

The project involved the creation of a web application that had complicated functions. The design also had to be specific and matching the brand of our organization. The features included a feedback system, booking system, reward program and educational materials.

We needed a reliable technology partner who can help us revamp our mobile application. While we had an app before, it was lacking a few of the most sought-after features.

The user-experience also needed some work. Last but not the least, the app was lagging in some devices. We also wanted to improve its overall speed and enhance its performance.

We wanted to hire someone who can fulfill all our requirements at once. A few areas we looked at before selecting the agency included:

We wanted to hire an agency especially from India because they are comparatively cheaper than other agencies here in the USA. We also had a great experience working with an Indian company prior to this.

We started off initially with a strategy call. We explained the team what exactly we were expecting from them. Post that they started the work. Initially, they delivered basic prototypes and then later on fully functional app was delivered. They also helped us in pushing the updated app to play store.

We were mainly in touch with Jatin - their CEO and technical lead. We often had calls with our lead developer.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We're still in the second phase of the development process. However, we recently released the previous version of the app on various app marketplaces - and there were no bugs reported. So we could say we're heading in the right direction.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

It was great. We managed our projects through the vendor's software. The communication was taken care of through Skype, and some times Zoom calls.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

How they professionally care about the customer and the project. How they always put themselves in first person. The level of support. The flexibility they demonstrate. It was beyond what we had expected.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

They have great engineers with deep understanding of GraphQL and Flutter. Our cooperation has been smooth. I’m a very technical person and have reviewed their work myself; they’ve been delivering very high-quality work.

How did IBL INFOTECH perform from a project management standpoint?

We have very good communication. We have regular meetings and internal communication channels. They always let us know when they don’t understand the requirements. Overall, they’re a very responsible team. We use ClickUp and Workplace from Facebook for project management.

The team delivers quality work at a quick speed. It’s amazing that we’ve spent so little as a startup to reach such wonderful results.

No, nothing comes to mind.

My advice is to have a technical person on staff to evaluate and understand the basic frameworks. It’s important to be aligned from the beginning.

Whatever module we gave to those developers, they executed it perfectly in more efficiently.

Me and project manager always coordinating with each other over a call or message. We have a common message group between me, project manager and developers so that we can easily pass our requirement.

I am very shocked about how that project manager explains the module to the employee. The project manager pass requirement to the developer where the developer can understand it easily and execute it in the same way which I want. They can handle all my requirement in an easy way and executed it in the best way.

The journey with the IBL INFOTECH team started back in late December 2019, when an experienced developer was needed, to give the Byebye project a consistent boost. The requirements, by that time, were addressing competencies in Flutter and Firebase.

Soon we realized that we'll need a lot more areas of expertise to fulfill the project requirements, and they were ready to provide multidisciplinary services.

What were your goals for this project?

All we had, in the beginning, was a functional mockup made in Flutter, backed by sketches, bits, and pieces of elements meant to be the app's roadmap. The main goal was to get an MVP published on both AppStore and Google Play platforms and to build a strong foundation for further development.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

After three months (in March 2020), the Byeybe app went live on both platforms (AppStore and Google Play), and since then we already made 6 consistent updates.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The handover process was straightforward, one developer was initially assigned, as requested, and the ball started rolling. As any fresh start, the overall feeling was overwhelming, but as time passed, the puzzle started to show a big picture, and that happened even sooner than everyone expected.

Now a multidisciplinary team handles all the specifications, participating actively and pro-actively in achieving the short-term and mid-term objectives.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

What makes the collaboration special is that IBL doesn't provide a limited resource, you get an elastic, flexible team, expanding when necessary, reacting at your needs and deadlines, and covering wide areas of expertise. And the best thing is that you are part of that team, working in realtime with them at your project.

As the project goes further, the challenges are bigger. But for now, I can't demand anything special, more than they provide.

It was ERP to handle all the internal operations. We faced challenges to maintain track of our business. IBL INFOTECH did a wonderful job building our complicated system. They communicated beautifully and understood exactly what was needed. This is a 4-year project and continues to expand in complexity and IBL INFOTECH was always there building and managing to perfection.

IBL INFOTECH supplied me with software for TASK TRACKING and COMMUNICATION and I was able to see the plan map, the project being worked on, when it was completed, and received daily updates with Tasks Completed, Tasks in Progress, and Tasks for the next day. Their communication was key in a successful project

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

IBL INFOTECH always understood what was needed from a programming perspective. They knew what our end goal was and they were able to build it to what we needed.

We mostly communicated with the project manager, but we use "ClickUp" and slack to communicate directly with the programmers & designers as well. We only had one change in developer towards the 6th-7th month into the project, but we were notified early on and the transition was very smooth.

We had great testimonials from our product, and we had very little bugs or crashes during our beta launch. So all in all, we believe it was a great success!
